Thank you Google. Without the reviews we would never have found this place, as it's tucked away in an empty 'shopping mall'. What an amazing dinner, we could not fault it, and I don't really like Indian food. Everything we ate was not only beautifully presented, by attentive staff, it was absolutely delicious. Even though they had established that were are not locals, they still gave ma a complimentary sorbet, wow. Thank you.

My wife and I visited soyful this evening and the food and staff were very good and the staff were very kind to us explain how spicy the dishes were and even offered to make my wife’s dish milder. I would be happy to visit again if I was in the area

If you’re looking for a decent curry in the area, this is the place to be…… food made with love, it seems as though every aspect of the meal has been carefully orchestrated….. we will be back…. A very kind waiter too….. thanks so much, what a surprise!

Had a teatime after work meal. Wow, I had the chicken Shimla mirch. What lovely flavours. I would highly recommend.

I was staying in Shepton Mallet and in desperate need of a decent meal on a Sunday night and Soyful and his team including Rohit seriously delivered. The food was outstanding! Delicious delicate flavours, beautifully presented and their service and friendly reception was a delight. We entered strangers and left friends. I’m not local unfortunately but I’ll be coming back there when I’m next in the area for sure Highly recommend

The most superb Indian restaurant food! I am a strict vegetarian so reached out before visiting to make sure all vegetarian dishes are prepared separately. Immediately reassured. Food this good deserves your attention!

What a surprise, whilst the classic Indian menu of balti, bhuna and biryanis are all on offer, go for the main menu of lamb chops, lamb shank, seafood moilee and sea bass to name only a few of the delicious dishes the chef offers. The starters are equally as delightful with fish Amritsar or a deconstructed samosa chat, sheer brilliance in a plate. I’ve been to many many Indian restaurants in the UK, US, Australia and Mew Zealand, thus is the best Indian food I ever eaten!

Brilliant take on Indian food - and a far cry from our normal takeaway. Every dish we had (2 x starters, 2 x mains, and sides) was delicious, well presented and unlike any "takeaway" Indian I have had before - even comparing it to restaurant have been to on Curry Mile - this was like a fine dining experience. I only knocked off a star on Atmosphere as unfortunately this gem of an experience is located in possibly the most dilapidated shopping precinct outside of a war zone! The owners of the building this place is in should be ashamed of the entrance which has live electrical wiring hanging above the stairwell, threadbare stairs and dubious stains up every wall.

After getting so many recommendations for this place we finally got around to trying it and we weren't disappointed. Food is excellent, the starter, main course and even desserts were faultless. I definitely discovered some new flavours and my wife and I both loved it. The service was excellent. It seems a shame that it's hidden away in an old shopping centre. This place should be front and centre on the high street! Recommended!

Wow I went here by the recommendation of someone in wetherspoons the other night. I thought it was absolutely delicious the passion and love that goes into preparing and presenting the food is spot on. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes there food. I didn't think it was expensive at all as some people have said. I think for what quality of food you get it's an absolute bargain 😊

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time, but it won't be the last. The food is amazing. I had a Tikka Masala, the best I've ever had. The staff are very friendly, and even the manager came over to greet us. We will have to bring our friends next time.

Having tried lots of Indian Resturant's in and around the Bath area, I can say this was the Best meal we have had, the food was so good I could go again and again, the menu was different, the service great, and we were with good friends. The entry point is a little different, however don't be put off as the food is well worth it..

Not impressed with the curry here.I had the king prawn balti and the sauce tasted like a Pateks curry jar sauce.My curry only had 3 King prawns in it so not so much king at all.Way overpriced and will not be returning.

Lovely experience. It's Indian fine dining. Calling it curry is an insult. A but pricey, but its classy and would makes for a very nice treat. I would love to go again.

This is the best Indian I've had outside of India! Incredible food, we came from Bristol to eat there and will definitely be making the trip again. Couldn't fault it.

Having been a fan of Indian food for many many years it has oddly been rare to find a restaurant that produces indian food that stands out. Bath has had two or three over the years. Jamuna was undoubtedly the best by a long way. Not just in the area but even as far as London. I'm not saying there aren't great restaurants but finding one amongst the thousands isn't easy. Jamuna produced the best food at a reasonable price with views of the Abbey that were outstanding. Gone some years ago the Mint rooms are world famous and now hold the 'best' title but you pay a premium price. In comes Soyful's kitchen. In a small town outside Bath you have ample nearby free parking. There are a few bars in the area although it's a small and relitively quiet town. The restaurant is well presented and typical of many modern Indian establishments. It's comfortable, well laid out with plenty of space between tables. The food is at the top for taste quality and portion size. Be careful what you order you are getting full sized portions. the flavour is every bit as good as the mint rooms and deserves to build its reputation. Service was efficient and friendly, again up there with the best. The owner and chef was head chef in the Mint Room for many years so it's got a good foundation. Costs when we ate there were about £30 per head. But there were a few drinks in there so expect £25 for a meal that will be the basis of a pleasant night out. So value is very high. It deserves to do well.

Based upon the good reviews Soyful had I decided to make the trip with my friend for my birthday meal. The restaurant interior is very pleasant. The staff were also pleasant and efficient. I had scallops to start which were delicious. Both my friend and I had chicken jalfrezi with mushroom rice. Very tasty. Could not fault the food at all. Very happy with my visit and hope to return sometime.

We were recommended to this Indian restaurant by friends so we came to try. We were impressed and the food was great. Good quality and tasty food. Well prepared with pleasant helpful service. We will also put this on list for a future takeaway but it’s a nice restaurant to sit and eat in too. Try it. If you like Indian food you will be so glad you came by.

Chose this restaurant from Trip advisor whilst staying locally. Visited on a very busy Saturday night full restaurant. Despite that staff were efficient and food was served quickly considering how busy they were. Started with usual poppodums pickle tray was a little sparse compared to other restaurants I’ve visited. Onion Bhakti starter which was very good,ordered garlic chilli chicken and balti chicken tikka masala both were very good the garlic chilli chicken was excellent. Quality pieces of chicken good portion size very tasty. Also had a dessert mango cheesecake which was really good. I can see why the restaurant was busy very good quality and friendly owner would highly recommend and will visit again when in the area.

We had a great evening at Soyful celebrating my husbands birthday, my daughter’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. The menu is extensive, the food is superb, authentic, well presented and the staff attentive and very friendly. We will be back!!

A real find! Food is excellent, refined and different to the usual. Service is both attentive and friendly. Only reason for the 4 with atmosphere is that it's quite noisy...but that's because it's busy...because it's very good!

We stayed at an air bnb nearby, We ordered a take away online after seeing the reviews. When we went to collect we wished we’d booked a table, lovely little restaurant, very friendly staff and the food was fantastic. If staying this way again we’ll definitely be back.

Amasing best curry I've ever had 😁❤️

Tonight’s food was just exciting to all the senses. A wonderful balance of sweet ,sour and heat. This was the best fusion of food I have eaten in a very long time, freshly cooked and new flavours to try - so we will just have to go back. You will not be disappointed.

After been recommended eating here by the owners of the house we’re staying in. We couldn’t resist and collected an order, the restaurant manager was incredibly helpful and friendly and said it would be better than all the curries local to me. A bold statement that I can confirm is 100% correct, it was a gorgeous meal cooked to perfection and delicious couldn’t fault it at all. very highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were recommended by a friend to come here, so we chose to grab a take away to celebrate our sons a level results. Great food, really friendly service…. The flavours in all the meals were delicious (we all had a bit of each others ) - from the rogan josh with melt in the mouth lamb, to the delicious tikka balti. Thank you very much. We’ll be back!!

The entrance through a faded shopping centre by the car park didn't look promising but very pleasantly surprised with this smart, small restaurant. Tasty with a modern take and smart presentation.

unable to rate the other sections as we didn't get that far, guy on the phone seemed a little off from the start, like the fact you cant hear me is my fault? next when I attempted to order spicy chicken masala all he would keep saying was no alterations no alterations. ok no alteration then no cash made me giggle when he seems surprised I wasn't going to order shame really as I had heard good things about this place

Excellent! The best Indian takeaway we’ve had ever! Fantastic food and great quality ingredients. We realised we’d forgotten the beers we’d ordered once we got home and the restaurant gladly delivered them without charge. Could not recommend this restaurant / take away option more highly.

The best indian food I've had in the area for a very long time. We had the Sea Bass and seafood molie. The poached pear for dessert was delightful. No sqimping on the quality of ingredients used. The freshness of the naan bread was noticeable compared to other places. Strongly recommend all round. My downsides were the worn premises, and the room easily gets loud, busy, and warm. Also, it was not very kid or baby friendly.

Recommended if you like Indian food. Lots of choice of dishes and great for trying new ones. Good service in a relaxed atmosphere. We will be be returning soon .

The food was amazing. I had the mixed seafood moilee with ginger, coconut milk and red chilli. It arrived as a fish stew. Not what I was expecting, but beautifully presented. The flavours were wonderful, warm, fragrant and an occasional bite of chilli. Try it, you won't regret it, unless you lick the sauce off the chilli😆

Best of the best Indian food I have ever had in England (and my partner and I eat Indian at least once a week!). All the produce is top quality and you can taste it. The variety of dishes lets you be adventurous as well as having your usual. The service was very attentive and nice. The restaurant is beautiful on a second floor overlooking the little river and the street. Takes a bit to find it as you have to go to the second floor through stairs but it is SO worth it!! It is a must in the area :)

Since moving back to the West Country from the Midlands I have struggled to find a good curry house. That struggle is over, the food was cooked to perfection, service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be returning

my 6th visit to this beautiful altar of sensory delights..... My chum and i had a joint starter - it was excellent value with 4 tasty meat nibbles each to tantalise the taste-buds. My mains was a rich, large lamb dish in a spicy sauce, with mash-with-herbs.... and aubergines and spinach as sides. Finishing with a variety of sorbet scoops to cleanse the palate. This chef is passionate about flavoursome good food and his presentation is like that found in the most exclusive London fine dining restaurants.... Midsomer norton is lucky to have this pearl of epicurean delight.... See you in a month

We have visited this restaurant many times with different friend and family groups. Everyone has loved it! The food is flavoursome and delicious. A personal favourite is the beetroot starter and I love that you’ve now introduced a Thali, it means we can try more! The staff are excellent and we really enjoy chatting to the chef when he comes around. Best Indian in the local and wider area, by far. Already looking forward to going again! 😊

Very tasty food. Approx. 25GBP per person for mains and a drink each plus shared poppadoms and onion bhaji, but that was enough to fill us up.

We decided yesterday with my wife to try Soyful's kitchen, as we saw so many good reviews online. We have never been into Indian food, mainly due to poor experience in the past.....but this time wow !!!!!!!! The food was phenomenal, the chef has clearly put the cuisine at an another level.... everything was perfectly cooked and well balanced....It was simply perfect.... excellent and friendly service at reasonable price... Thanks all ....it was not only the best Indian restaurant but one of the best experience we had in years. When we left we had no choice and booked again 😉 Can't wait to return 🎂

This was my fourth visit to Soyfuls, and without exception, the food has been excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. However, if you happen to be there at a time when the restaurant is pretty full which for me is three of the four times I’ve been there, the noise levels are extremely high just from people talking. Tonight there was a group of about 28 or so young lads in there and it was virtually impossible to have a conversation. In the end, we asked for our meal to be converted into a takeaway which the staff were very happy to do and they were apologetic about the noise. So overall, I can’t fault the food but I would suggest that even having some wall hangings or curtains would help dampen down the sound and compensate for all the hard reflective surfaces. So if the owners would like to take that on board, it might help to make the experience of eating there more comfortable. Great to have a quality Indian restaurant in Midsomer Norton though!

This has to be THE best Indian cuisine in the area.. The staff were attentive, the owner and head chef is a super nice guy, came and checked in with us and we were treated for being first time customers. We’ll be back for sure!

We ordered the Tandoori jinga and the fish amritsar for starters. It arrived really quickly and both dishes were out of this world good. We then had the lamb chops and the kashmir lamb rogan and again those were exquisite. My partner and I both agreed it may have been the best meal we have ever had. My partner and myself visited on the recommendation of a work colleague and we’re so pleased that we did. The presentation and tastes of the food, and the service was first rate, and the overall experience of the hospitality provided by the team at Soyful’s Kitchen, was nothing less than exemplary. It’s right up there with the very best of dining around here and without doubt, the best restaurant of its genre that we’ve yet experienced.

What a lovely local place to visit and eat in. 4 of us went last night. Food exceptional.. very tasty and well presented. Came out promptly once ordered also so was hot. Atmosphere good..quite few tables full which surprised me on a Wednesday evening. Decor good and appeared very clean (although we did not use toilets!) Always a good indicator of how clean a place is in my opinion. Very attentive waiters. Food more expensive than average take away but this is way better than an average take away. I will definitely go again..Best onion bhaji I have EVER had!

Food was lovely as always! The staff are always so welcoming and go above and beyond! We took my mother in law for her birthday dinner and she had a really good time. The food is so flavourful, authentic and gorgeously presented. Worth every bit of money!! Thank you.

Disappointed. We ordered food for collection. We arrived on time but was told our food was not ready so waited nearly 20 minutes. Once we picked up our food and made the 4 minute journey home to find out food was Luke warm. We emailed the restaurant but never received a response. Very disappointed in the service. Update - How shameful to say I am lying. Yes I made two reviews on the Same evening. I am fed up of buying Luke warm food. I ordered food from you three weeks ago and waited patiently for your reply. It is my right to leave poor feedback for when I receive poor service, especially when no reply from yourselves. You should not be saying your customers are lying as you know full well you can see my previous orders and messages that I have sent Say no more!

Best Indian restaurant in the area. Very friendly, excellent service. Freshly cooked, Delicious Indian dishes. Never seen such a nice presentation of dishes anywhere else which are full of flavours and aroma. Treating customer with great respect.
