Southern Fried Chicken High Wycombe in Wycombe

Took 25min to get a basic order they served others before we got our food . The chicken was dry and this has happened multiple times . Will now never return, think you should do it too.

Overpriced burgers, less portions, same chicken shop story, which no takeaway business owner ever learns. Maybe they should match the price to the portions and be remembered.

The guys were quick, and the order was exactly as ordered. Great job. THE CHICKEN WAS AWESOME, every piece of chicken was amazing and delicious, chips were spot on. Good work.

Today is my second and last visit at this takeaway been here twice first time when i newly moved in this area and tried there food didn’t like at all no flavour and chicken wasn’t even cooked also very dry. Today thought lets give it a last try to see if theres been any improvements in the recipe, asked for mild grilled chicken strips meal chips were fine but the chicken strips were so spicy my mouth was burning could not take the flavour, called back at the take away asked if we can change strips into mild and the lady mentioned this is our mild sauce but i said its to spicy a worker named Jaishree with very rude customer service and does not know how to talk to a customer also refused to swap the food over to something else first and another worker mentioned he would swap it to fried chicken strips why couldn’t it be swapped in the first place. If i was not annoyed or angry i would not take my precious time out to right this long review.

Nicely cooked chicken, not bone dry

We always like to bring someone out when they've done a bad thing...... not all are the same and this is a prime example...... best chicken hands down in wycombe and definitely great service. Highly recommend these guys.... outshining all chicken shops in wycombe by a country mile.. keep doing what you're doing guys 👌

Please ask before you pay. When i ask them about cheese in the veggie burger. They said you need to pay extra for that. But if you check on the menu they mention that , burger comes with cheese. So why i meed to pay extra for cheese

I ordered the food at 7.25 it took 45mins to get to me and it was cold I should get money back

Food here is great, fast and friendly service. I’m a regular customer here, they know my order before I even say it. Would highly recommend to anyone. Good value for money.

Meh, would be the most apt description I can think to use. I wouldn’t attend here by choice, service is slow, food is very much just okay, easy enough to park however you will likely be trapped in the carpark out front by someone parking behind you so yeah 2 stars through and through.

The BBQ wings are displayed in the chicken meal section for £8.75 and again in the “On its Own” section for £7.00. I ordered 2 BBQ wings thinking they would be meals as its in the chicken MEAL section but when delivered they came with no chips so i paid £17.50 for 10 wings…that’s absolutely ridiculous!! I am livid, you need to set up your menu better and clearer because apparently I can’t get a refund either, big waste of money!

Ordered online and they sent someone else's food. Went down there to sort it out as they can't even do the simplest thing. Had to wait another 20mins for them to cook it again as my order had been sat on the side going cold. When I got home with order chips where cold and they forgot my partners Chicken burger. What a absolute joke of a place. Avoid at all costs

The chicken was v tasty but wayyyyyyu too spicy. You normally do less spicy but my children did not finish today. Never use v hot sauce

Had to wait 20 minutes for a burger and chips. Nobody knew what they was doing. Service was terrible. Chicken burger was diabolical £8 meal witch was more like £5 meal shocking.. wouldn't go again

They ran out of the half chicken which is my favourite and we are regulars from beaconsfield. They gave me a replacement of chicken strips and chicken wings which were not as good as the half chicken. Hence thinking about trying another place

They must of been having a bad day because they are normally great but ordered last night took them over an hour after the delivery time they told us and when it finally arrived (after 3. Attempts at finding a delivery driver) the two tubs of coleslaw was missing ,no sorry for being late or missing items ,was just told by delivery company(Uber) they couldn't give me money back for the missing coleslaw because it didn't have a price ( but they sell it for &1.89 a tub) so I will probably not order from them again or use Uber because you pay extra for delivery and a service charge but they let us down

The food was rock solid and cold

The chicken is so good here, really tasty and good quality also the fries are also so nice. My son loves this place and they gave him an extra strip, so top quality staff definitely recommended if you haven't already. We will be back again to try something new 👍🏽

Told me 10 minutes I waited 20 for my food really need a faster service, food is really good but it's called fast food for a reason, this seems to be the case every time I come here aswell not just a 1 off

Unhappy with the quality of food. I’ve been in to order from here before and not had a problem, first time ordering through just eat and the chips were over cooked and hard like a rock. The chicken in the chicken wrap was also over cooked really dry and chewy. It had to go in the bin. Same for the chips as My children couldn’t eat them. I hate leaving negative feedback but I have to be honest. Getting food from here I feel like I wasted my money.

Food was fresh, very over priced and most surprising was the Southern Fried flavour tasted nothing like I remember, I was looking for that Nostalgia and actually got no flavour at all, literally no flavour.Although I made a trip from London, I won’t be going again. You still get that traditional Southern fried flavour up north of the country. This place was hugely disappointing. But freshness wise everything was fresh and hygienic.

Tucked just off the main road, the food is lovely to be fair but the price point is fairly steep, I have to really fancy it to go in, the chips are arguably the best of the branded takeaways

Had to edit my 5 star review. Their online menu says there is a 10 piece bucket. Upon calling, they said they can not offer the 10 piece bucket. Makes no sense as online there is one, on their menu picture too there is one

We order here a lot as the food is always great. The only thing we did not like this time was that it came in a paper bag - it is much better in the box.

Food is average and a bit pricey. I had a chicken fillet burger which was just ok nothing special. I think I will stick to KFC as I can get a better deal

Absolutly terrible service, undercooked food, I was waiting 10 minutes to place an order as there was only 1 member of staff who was on slow motion. He saw me but decided to ignore me as he was busy preparing online orders. Then another 15min wait for the food. Staff dont speak English well. Shop looks nice and clean and new, but I wouldnt go here again until quality service has improved and food cooked properly. Employ more staff!

My husband had food from there on Thursday 10th November was horrible and gave him food poisoning from eating it!! My advise don’t eat anything from this place!! DISGUSTING NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!

The chip were really dried not fresh at all same goes for the chicken, either it had been left over night or just reheated
