Covid has caused a lot of problems in maintaining standards but by now I would have thought things should be back to normal. Tea used to be served in a pot and coffee in proper cups and plates for food. Now we have paper cups for tea and coffee and cakes are given out just wrapped in cling-film. No table service any more as you have to wait for your order to be prepared and handed to you. The food is still good but the whole experience is not worth walking the length of the prom. There used to be more tables and with parasols on the hot days - but no more. I think they need to get back to the standards they used to have as people will go to the new cafe's that are opening.

Pretty much what it says in the title they don't like children they absolutely hate children with autism. Disgusting should be ashamed.

My sister and I enjoy the coffee and also there is normally a choice of gluten free cakes which not many places offer. It is served by very friendly staff and if the weather is good we can enjoy taking our coffee and cake to the beach!

Never knew this little kiosk existed. Stumbled across it on one of my walks along the prom. Fantastic homemade cakes, pastries, sausage rolls and lovely ice cream for those hot days too. Service is second to none. Extremely friendly and polite, can’t do enough for you. Well worth those extra steps to the end of the prom.

We've been customers for the past 3 years and the standard of food is high. Sausage rolls the best in town, good coffee and home made cakes. The only down side is that seating is outdoors and on wet or windy days it can be uncomfortable. I wish they could rig up some type of canvas roof/awning between the two kiosks.

I eventually made it to this small but beautifully stocked establishment through the Felixstowe Foodies Group. With all the wonderful sunny weather we are having, what could be nicer than to sit around tables and enjoy home made cakes, delicious sausage rolls and real leaf tea in a teapot with uninterrupted views of the beach? The food is so good that I even drove from the town centre to purchase a slice of their Victoria Sponge and a Sausage Roll. Did I mention that you will also get a nice welcome when you find this little gem which is a lovely addition to the South Seafront in Felixstowe.

At the moment I just can't work out how I can return here as it is the last day of my holiday. The best fruit cake in a cafe EVER. Apparently the cheese scone wasn't bad either - husband's choice. The tea was proper tea leaves and a China cup. The sun shone. Perfect. All the other cakes looked fantastic. Very pleasant staff, order bought to our table.

My family and I went on a walk down on Felixstowe beach. It was a great day so we mucked about all day.The beach is good for that it sucks you in. On the way back to our cars we decided to get an ice cream. We stopped at the South Kiosk . They were about to close but were still able serve us with a smile. Thanks guys for the brilliant service.

This is not just any kiosk on the seashore but South Kiosk at Martello Towers! Here you can eat the best sausage rolls and the best cakes ever tasted whilst you drink your tea or coffee served in proper cups or mugs. Not your factory produce food but genuine home-made food cooked the same morning. Service with a welcoming smile and polite staff adds to the experience.

Lovely gem of a place, open all year and always busy. Fantastic sausage rolls. Dog friendly, always dog biscuits and water out for them, even do dog ice creams. Top quality produce all round, top ice cream, fine coffee, finest in the world sausage rolls, but you have to wait sometimes very long wait if busy. In the winter time they provide blankets and hot water bottles - brilliant idea. Use this place lots of times and in preference to the one next door.

This seafront 'cafe' near the Martello Tower in Felixstowe is well worth the visit, as is the recently refurbished Martello Tower itself. Kim has to be the friendliest, chattiest, happiest cafe owner in the world. This place has outdoor chairs and tables only, but if it's chilly, Kim will provide a hot water bottle and a blanket. The coffee is really excellent, the freshly made cakes and sausage rolls are really fantastic. Our kids love it and demand we go that way on every walk. There's a massive range of kids play area equipment along the front there as well - well worth a visit for families.

A new kiosk selling fab ice-cream/drinks in the summer. Great service... HOWEVER, just visited kiosk today - very cold/windy... guess what? Not only did they provided snuggly blankets for customers siiting having their drinks, not too many ice creams today (lol) they handed out hot bottles to customers in the queue to hug whilst waiting... now is that not the BEST SERVICE you ever heard of! So be sure to visit South Kiosk when visiting Felistowe...

Only the best tea, coffee and hot chocolate served here along with absolutely delicious cakes, scones and sausage rolls. I always check their Facebook page to see when they are open over the winter months as the weather has an impact on whether they open or not. It is such a treat when they do! You get totally pampered with hot water bottles and comfy blankets to keep out the chill.

It was a long walk from Felixstowe station to the South Kiosk at Martello Park. Was it going to be open at this time of year? I had travelled from London to buy a special Xmas present for a very close friend. It was open and I got the present. The proprieter a lovely lady called Kim was astounded at my story. She made me a large fresh hot coffee and gave me a big chunk of fruit cake also a blanket to ward off the chill wind whilst we chatted. This was my second visit here, the first being in August. Fresh tea is served in a teapot with its own cosy and china cups and saucers, likewise coffee comes n cup and saucers not polystyrene a wide variety of delicious cakes and other fresh food is available.I reccomend a visit here for the food and drink and for the warmth of welcome from Kim and her staff. Walk or drive its worth it

We've eaten here several times and the food is always good and coffee is probably the best in town - I am a coffeeholic! The homemade sausage rolls are really good, much better than those pale tasteless things sold in supermarkets. Yes, there is often a queue and the girls have limited space to work in but you have to wait for the good things in life. My only concern for the kiosk is that there is no inside seating so I sincerely hope they get enough custom in the winter months.

This is a great place to stop and have a drink and a snack. There is usually a queue as this is a popular place but the best things come to those who wait! Found this kiosk by chance when out for a bike ride, and is our go to place for our half way stop. Always welcomed with a smile even when they are extremely busy and believe me they always are!! the ice cream is gorgeous and very generous with the scoop size, traditional tea served in a teapot with cup and saucer and if your feeling peckish the cakes are delicious and home made each day which gives that added personal touch. Would Highly recommend a visit.

Authentic Pie, Mash n' liquor in Felixstowe - I popped in here after a couple of beers on the front - lovely pies, good old mash and proper liquor - knife, fork and spoon for the liquor, with vinegar, just like in London SE1 - interesting photos of England football stars and a bit of banter with the owner. All in all a great lunch and long may they thrive in Felixstowe.
