Great food but very slow delivery, called a couple of times to be told it’s 5 minutes away but obviously it wasn’t. Great food to be fair but disappointed with the delivery.

Real quick delivery. Food was average hot on arrival bonus! However the crispy chicken wasn’t at all crispy and the curry was watery.

1st time using them last week, I was blown away, best king prawn chicken curry I've ever had, the crispy aromatic duck was amazing 2, so good I've used them twice since, all 3 were equally amazing.

Food can be a bit too oily or not very seasoned but the portions are massive and overall the food worth the price. Fast delivery as well. Definitely go for any kind of ribs or Chow Mein.

Food was delicious and piping hot as always. I did have an issue with the driver tonight, he knocked, gave me 1 min to answer before he opened my front door and put the food in my hallway!! Not a front porch he opened the door into my house. Got in his car and drove off. Yes we got our food but he could have got the wrong house and not checked. You never enter someone’s home without permission.

Food was decent enough, but the beef curry was quite bland and a little sweet, not to my taste.

I usually love coming to this Chinese but today my food was soo salty that I really couldn't eat it I actually feel unwell after eating some of it. I ordered garlic butter chicken, hot wok chicken, friend rice, salt and pepper chips and curry and I don't know what it was but one of the meats were soo soo salty it was actually unbearable don't know what's went wrong this time. I usually order the same thing and it is usually beautiful I couldn't recommend them enough Iv been telling everyone it's the best Chinese in gosforth but very disappointed today. Could just be error or a mistake which I know it possibly is but I will have to see next time. The salt and pepper chips are beautiful!

Chicken not cooked throughly. Not the slightest bit crispy and definitely not shredded. Taste just off. So paid £26 for rice and chips and spring rolls. Not good enough

Paid for chicken fried rice and only give boiled rice so not happy

Ordered with chicken with Peking sauce. It nearly blew my mouth off. When I rang to discuss this with restaurant they just said it was meant to be like that. But it was extremely spicy, wasn’t offered a replacement dish

My meal was, as usual up to your high standards, however I'm not particularly happy that the order was just left on the ground at the front door with no sign of the driver anywhere.

One of the best Chinese we have had in a long time! Super fresh, veg still a little bit of crispiness rather than soggy, chicken wings were perfectly cooked. Well done South Gosforth!

Great tasty dishes. Excellent for takeaway. Delivery took a while, but it was worth the wait. The propietor is very accommodating. I wasn't inside the place, but considering the polite, professional service, I wouldn't doubt the atmosphere being positive.

After already waiting 1 hour and 15mins for the order it was then a further 25minutes late. Shop does not answer the phone. Ridiculous waiting this long for food that’s cost more then it’s worth

Lovely food however the lemon chicken wasn't as nice as usual. Lemon sauce bland ; chicken not crispy as usual.Waiting time due to their re opening this week after holiday so no real issue there to be fair

Ordered around 5 ish delivery time was 6.40 -7.00 Arrived over 30 mins late amd was cold amd had to be reheated ! Spent quite a bit of money and not even free prawn crackers . Food was OK amd that's being kind. Had better for less ! Ordered from here before amd always spot on . Unfortunately it's gonna be the class time

Delivery driver was lovely! The food was lovely Iv not tried this takeaway until tonight but the salt and pepper chips were cooked to perfection I asked for extra spicy and they were soo tasty! Also the chicken green chilli and garlic was amazing chicken was soo soft and cannot fault rice or curry neither! Will defo be coming back one of the best Chinese Iv tried around gosforth so far. Cannot believe Iv only just ordered from here! Lovely!

Not a patch on what it used to be i could go on and on basically poor chow mein pathetic used to be king prawns now shrimps spend an hour looking for pieces of meat went totally downhill now wouldn't recommend it to any one used this for 20 years and its getting worse

Food was tasty when it arrived, but I got a flibery time of 6:30-6:50 and the food didn’t arrive until 7:25!

Food tasted nice, munchy box was good value and plenty of chips. Not much meat on the ribs but still nice. Could have been a bit more crunchy for the beef but overall can’t complain

If you advertise 45-50 min delivery time you can't then allow people to place and order with a delivery time of 90 mins plus

First time ordering from here and certainly won't be the last. Food was lovely. Nicest we have had from around here. My only critism would be the delivery time, I know it's a Saturday and busy but just eat said 60-70 mins and once I placed order it went straight to 1 hr 25- 1 hr 45 and arrived closer to 1.40. Food was worth the wait, but in future I think I'd collect to avoid such a long delay.

Very tasty meal tonight - honey chilli crispy chicken and rice. Good sweet to spicy ratio and good portion size. Mini veg spring rolls were lovely too
