Hello, I have found this an amazing hotel and it's rooms and indoors are fantastic, I suggest this hotel to everyone,

This place delivers to my address but I can't order through the website because it says they don't deliver to my address. I have to order on the phone or collect and it's cash only which complicates things. Otherwise it's worth the hassle as the food is amazing and the staff are lovely!

Have just moved to the area and needed a quick meal on our first night. Very, very pleasantly surprised. Really easy to order online. Delivery was in good time. The food was piping hot. We really enjoyed the variety of items we ordered. Not sure what else you could ask for from your local Chinese delivery.

Just had a take away from this place and i can say, its the best iv ever had in my life! Food was hot and the meat content was high quality and fresh. The prawn crackers were out of this world too i can only say give it a try. The unit was very clean ,you can actually watch them cook as there is no hatch so you can see right into the kitchen ,the guy on the desk was lovely and very chatty.

The food is decent. Better than average but they short change you regularly. When I asked last time they told me that they changed the prices on their till but not on website/ board. Doesn’t sound quite legal to me…..

Had Seafood Chow Mein and Ma Po Tofu. The shop is clean and tidy. The food is nicely cooked. In many cases, I have encountered Chinese takeaways with too salty taste and with a lot of MSG, which makes my stomach very heavy after the meal. This shop is not the case. As it was not busy time at all, I did not encounter the long waiting time.

Waited half an hour in store, was ignored by multiple staff for the first 15 minutes. Charged £1 over advertised price. They ran out of battered chicken so had a munchie box with just salt and pepper chicken, chips and friend rice for £16.50, no apology about the wait or any type of compensation for missing items. Won’t be returning.

Was the first time going there. Good choices on the menu, food was really nice! Will go back there again Shame that they take cash only. Thank you!

Worst place I ever had a Chinese from the chicken was raw and very string link . Noodles were basically microwaved and chips bone dry . Worst Chinese I have ever ate even the can of Rio was out of date and flat .

Food quality has really gone downhill in 2021. Used to be my preferred Chinese takeaway, but wai ho and nice noodle in Gosforth offer much better food

Absolutely disgusting people that run this place dont know customer service. Every time I ring for a delivery not matter what time im refused the delivery service. They also lie about whats available on the menu so strange i will never be coming back. Attitude stinks

Ordered munchy box, received what can only be described as £14.90 worth of chips, with a few bits of dried chicken leftovers chucked in. Recently been taken over and it's not going well, won't last two minutes as there's plenty of better alternatives in the area

First time and will be last! King prawn curry tasteless, fried rice awful have actually had better from a supermarket and chips burnt! Quick turnaround a pleasant girl but not good food

I ordered Thai green curry, house special. Do not expect Thai green curry! What you get, whilst very tasty, is Chinese curry paste with the usual mixed ingredients.

Really nice food as usual, can't fault them and always get something on the house giving it a nice touch.

Ordered 2 meals and was told 20 minutes, so turned up expecting a wait but true to they're word it was ready . Both meals were outstanding as close to the best I've ever had. Huge portions and nice and hot. Well done Rendezvous Express a lovely treat in these wicked times, thankyou

Had special chow mein - it was awful - no flavour - just oil - the bit of meat was horrible - went in the bin. So £8 wasted.

Ordered king prawn chilli and garlic as main absolutely no taste worse ever had!!!!!! Might as well of ordered King Prawns in a diluted sauce Which had no taste!!!! In bin!!!

I know Chinese is different everywhere and it can be tough to know what is authentic and what’s has been “britishised” but some of this felt a step too far with a lot of the sauces being very thin/almost oily and not with the deep taste you would normally expect... Think Szechuan, hoi sin, oyster sauce etc... So a reasonable meal, but not the big hitting flavour of most. Good portion sizes but for the price would expect a bit better all round.

Decided to get a Chinese meal delivered. Always have it from Rendezvous Express. Ordered by phone for delivery, within 30 minutes. Prawn Toast , spicy spare ribs and spicy cod bites all delicious. Prawn toast a little dry otherwise would have been 5 stars. We love the starters so only get 1 main to share, got Thai green curry with fried rice. Perfect.

Food arrived on time and hot; the duck and the ribs were really nice, rice dishes and noodles very good also. Main courses were very very poor. Crispy beef- extremely rubber like texture; the beef didn’t put an appearance in!, a chewy dish that bore no resemblance to any crispy dish I have had from other Chinese restaurants/take away! The duck in orange and Cointreau sauce was like eating a jar of marmalade laced with lemon juice. It was not nice at all. It needed a bit of toast rather than being a sauce with a lovely duck breast! This is the third time I’ve had a takeaway from this so called “ high end” eatery... and the third time I have rang and complained. So now I will not try any more! Very Very disappointing .

Quality you expect from Liu's restaurant group. Great Food and Prices given Portions provided. Friendly service and accepts Card Payments. Lunchtime specials are great on the go. I'd like to see more Chilli and Salt dishes on the menu though.

Tried this takeaway same time last year and thought i would try again and same situation as last year. Just picked up a takeaway.. honey chilli chicken and not a bit of honey on it? Just a few dry bits of chicken? Noodles and beansprouts, dry as anything couldnt even taste any soya sauce. Spicy chips tastest heated up tbh and not spicy at all just full of onions and peppers. Small portions and not cheep either. Couldn't even eat the food. What a waste.

Not just a standard chinese takeaway. The food is very high quality and the ship is always very clean. It's not the cheapest but certainly value for money as it is very tasty. Always have a good meal from here.

Never had a bad meal from this place yet, top quality food

Fantastic meal, the portions were huge so great value for money. We had beef in hot wine, spicy BBQ chicken with fried rice, salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken for a starter. I would recommend all of these dishes, the beef was very tender and delicious and all food tasted very fresh and so we didn't get that disgusting feeling after eating it like often happens after a takeaway! The guy serving was also very friendly and you can see into the kitchen which looked impeccable! Definitely will be ordering from here again!

Worst chow mein I've ever had. It was swimming on my plate and who puts lettuce,carrots, and cucumber in a chow mein.

Honestly don't understand the negative reviews below, this is probably the best Chinese take-out I've been to. Lives up to the Kevin Liu standards and his restaurants. Keep up the good work!

Best thing I can say is the chips were nice. Everything else went in the bin. How can you burn Prawn crackers?

very poor meal for 3 persons after a very long wait , the 2 young ladies on front desk seemed happy to giggle and joke with what appeared to be the drivers , the place seemed to lack any sort of leadership , having ate at 2 of this family restaurants before and was very pleased ,lets hope this is just a teething problem.
