We arrived just before 3pm and were made to feel so welcome even though the cafe was closing soon. We had such brilliant friendly service. The sandwiches were made fresh to order using local butchers ham which was sourced for the order no bother. Lovely coffee such great value foe money. We will be back. If there is a perfect picture of what a town/village café should feel like, then Something Tasty" here in Llanfyllin would be it! Highly recommend a visit to this great café and you will not be disappointed! A big thank you and shout out to: SIAN, JAKE, and JO (Joann/Joanne/ Joanna : "Kool and the Gang" )! Absolutely legends and my southern fried strips of chicken, bacon, cheese baguette was absolutely delicious....totally pucker!

Absolutely lovely Cafe. We had lunch here followed by delicious homemade cake. The service and food was brilliant and prices were really reasonable - nice to be able to enjoy food out as a family. The colouring books and pens were a great addition to keep the kids happy. We've since been back for breakfast and it didn't disappoint 👍.

We've been staying in one of the Pods Bodyddon, and checked out earlier Today. We wished to have Breakfast, prior to the Drive Home, and having heard/read favourable Comments about,"Something Tasty", decided to try it out. It's located in the Town Square Area of Llanfyllin, virtually opposite the Cain Hotel. There are some limited Parking Spaces, in the Side Street adjacent, or in the Spar Car Park, a short Walk away). Customers can eat in (courtesy of Seating inside and outside the Premises), or Take Away. The Staff were also taking Phone Orders whist we were there. The Customers were a combination of Holidaymakers and Local Regulars. We sat inside, and the Interior was well maintained and clean. Excellent Customer Service from all Staff: The Owner was really cheerful,and we received a really warm welcome from her. There were 2 Lads (? the Owner's Sons) who brought the Food to the Table Breakfasts (of which there were several variations) are served all Day, and there is also a Childrens Section of the Menu. Really impressed with the variety of Food and Drink Options, on the Menu, and the competitive pricing of these. We had a Child's 4 Item Breakfast,2 Sausages and Chips, a Standard Breakfast (which came with Toast, and a choice of Tea/Coffee/Juice/Cup of Milk), 2 Large Glasses of Apple Juice, a Carton of Orange Juice, and a 3-Egg Cheese and Ham Omelette: all for under £25, which we thought was great value. Highly recommended. We'd definitely eat here again, when we visit again, soon. Keep up the great work.

Parking was no problem. Plenty of outside seating to watch the world go by in this delightful town. Decor was very sparse. The menu was good, but no welsh version! You have to order and pay first. A good atmosphere and popular. The staff were very friendly and efficient. My ham and cheese bap was great and the coffee was good quality. Eating outside on a sunny day would be perfect.

Great food at great prices! A proper locals café. The highlight for us was the super cute dog who spent the whole time we were eating staring at my delicious chicken curry. Tea good, coffee good, spot on!

Nice and friendly service, tasty, fresh food, good prices. The one thing I would change is the insides. They don't look very appealing, so we stayed outside.

We had a fabulous lunch at the Something Tasty Cafe today. Definitely recommend this cafe. We had the home made Chicken Curry, Siany’s Breakfast, Southern Fried Chicken Meal and a lovely fresh salad. The Coffee was amazing, much better than Costa and Starbucks. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Veggie breakfast from 2 wonderful, happy, welcoming ladies who run the cafe. Sian & Jo do an amazing job and the locals are hugely welcoming and friendly. Great prices, they know how to make a proper Mug of Tea and we'll certainly pop in when passing

Friday bacon sausage and egg sandwiches for dinner and a new place to stop.

Went here on way to Lake vyrnwy for Dinner my wife's salad ham was fantastic unfortunately my chicken curry homemade supposedly was awful like watery curry sauce on my plate running everywhere packet microwave rice and chicken was well dunno ,was tasteless and to be honest horrible worst sloppy chicken curry I've ever had due to only 2 staff on and one cooking one serving and taking orders food took ages please get more staff .

Ein kleines Restaurant, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber das köstliche Essen und die freundliche Bedienung wieder wett macht. Man spürt, dass das Personal Spass an der Arbeit hat und darauf bedacht ist, die Kunden zufrieden zu stellen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut super.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, das Essen ist sehr gut und günstig. Kleine Speisekarte, reicht völlig aus.

Great little simple cafe. Had coffee and a tea cake which were great. The breakfasts looked excellent, nicely cooked to perfection. Prices are very good. WiFi is available and there is indoor and outdoor seating and they do take away as well. We will be back.

Lovely little cafe! This little place has a nice outdoor seating area on the town square. We stopped there yesterday for a late breakfast and the sandwiches were well filled with lovely quality sausages, bacon and eggs. They have Vegi options as well. Staff were very friendly as well which is always nice. :)

Called in for a quick cup of tea as this lovely establishment in the village of Llanfillin. The staff were very friendly. Seating was either inside or outside at one of the many tables. The prices of drinks and snacks were very reasonable. Will certainly have no hesitation of recommending this cafe and will visit again when in the area.

This place is awesome The lady running it really goes above and beyond The pizzas are yummy and anything homemade is delicious During the lockdown this lady was delivering roast meals once a week at a special reduced price in order to help out those who struggled to cook Go there you won't regret it :-)

Visited here a few times (new owner since Apr ‘19) & it's a fab little cafe. Food cooked fresh & they don’t mind tweeks, nice kids menu & its great to see a full sized salad on a menu! Drink selection is good too, with small juice cartons or squash for the kids. Has heating too which was welcome on our Dec visit!

So happy to have called into this cafe. Excellent quality at lowest prices. Staff so friendly. Salad one of the freshest I've had for some time. Very generous portions too. Highly recommend.

I had the larger all day breakfast and my wife had the sausage and egg barm. Both were generous portions and good value for money. Recommended.

Have had many good pizzas from here in the past, but our last 2 visits haven’t been good. The last pizzas we had were very bad, with the one being inedible due to being undercooked/soggy, despite the fact we put it in the oven at home also. Disappointed and sorry to say we won’t be having another takeaway pizza.

Although we have visited Llanfyllin regularly we’ve never been in here for breakfast and today we weren’t disappointed. Lady behind counter was very helpful. All food was cooked to order and piping hot when it came out. Looked like they use locally sourced ingredients as sausages and bacon didn’t come across as prepackaged ones. Breakfast came with toast and brew, we couldn’t believe how cheap it was, 3 of us and it came to just over £12. We will definitely be going there again.

Being vegan there weren’t tons of options for lunch, however the lovely ladies let me play around with what I wanted out of their menu items, which was very much appreciated. The food is relatively simple but very tasty and fresh.

Called here Saturday afternoon. Great tasty food. Plenty of choice, from fried food to sandwiches washed down with a great hot cuppa. Other beverages are available! All served with a friendly smile. Recommended.

Great place to call for a quick proper bacon sandwich or full breakfast and a mug of tea or coffee, the girls do a good job clean and informal easy access and exit,

Looks okay from outside and a bit shabby on the inside, greeted with we are just closing at 12.30pm on a Friday, still we thought we would give it a try. The toasted sandwich I had was filed pretty full, no kind of garnish or crisps so it wasn't very good value. Had some I presume homemade cake and that was pretty good so that warranted an extra star to take it to three.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and the chicken wrap was deliciously fresh. Will definitely be stopping here again if I find myself in the area.

This take away and restaurant is ideal for a family pizza treat. The quality was excellent and plenty to choose from and very helpful staff. The most important thing was great value for money.

Take away pizzas are fantastic, cafe for day time needs work, food pretty good but bit shabby and a bit cold inside, needs updating, more welcoming. And sometimes close when not v busy.

Se clasifica en una lista de uno. Naranjas no puede compararse a los plátanos. Soy local. Me gusta. Si quiero cerveza y un pub comida, me voy a un pub. Si quieres una cama para pasar la noche con una cena que ir a un hotel. Si quieres una comida en un restaurante con luces tenues y servicio lujoso, ir a un restaurante, normalmente en la noche. Si quiero un delicioso desayuno caliente fulsome vegetarianos sin pretensiones, yo voy algo sabroso.

Pizza and fry ups and cups of tea is basically what they offer, buy they do it well and are friendly and unfussed.

First class pizza base was just the right thickness the toppings were generous, fries hot and tasty, coleslaw was rich & creamy. all together a first class meal
