Dear Sollip Team We had a wonderful evening with you, thank you very much! Our 25th wedding anniversary could not have been more beautiful. The food really impressed us and the wine went wonderfully with it. The charming service completed the whole experience and we can only recommend a visit to Sollip. Many thanks also for the lovely card for our anniversary and the wonderful extra dessert. We will remember you fondly for a long time to come....we will be back! Monika & Thomas

Simple clean lines for ambience. Food was very tasty and good ingredients. Dishes all unique and cooked well, service was pleasant. A bit pricey but its a Michelin star restaurant in London post pandemic.

This venue is nicely and beautively decorated. Staff are very attentive and interested in customers. Near the end of thr meal chef popped out to chat to us. What a lovely interesting man. The food Is stunningly presented and quite extraordinarily flavoured. It's a great individual style of food. The wagyu dish was sensational, but frankly all course were quite superb, really well worth visiting.

This was our 2nd visit and it did not disappoint. Amazing food, service and ambience and definitely deserving of its Michelin star. Attention to detail on every dish with an explanation of what we were being served and how to eat some of them. A big thank you to the Sollip team.

Tonight we ventured down to Sollip, where the owners have used their training in French & European style of cooking and fused it with Korean techniques and ingredients. They only offer a 6 course tasting menu which didn’t disappoint from start to finish. The food was as good as we hoped and nothing that touched our lips disappointed. The pairings were spot on and at £87/person, value for money. Now, the front of house, they just nailed it. From the moment we walked in, until we left, we were treated to the upmost professionalism, care and they were well versed in the dishes they were about to service. Every member of the team that served us knew what the dish was, why it was blended together with those flavours and ingredients. It was like they were challenging the chef himself. This is so rare to see among the many of the Michelin restaurants we once visited over the past 18 months. Well done team Sollip. We will be back when your menu changes to sample the magic of the next season

This is a wonderful hidden gem small restaurant. It is behind The Shard and London Bridge station. Korean with other influences, it deservedly has a Michelin star. It is small with very friendly service. The tasting menu for lunch was delicious, amazing flavours. All 5 courses were explained. We also had the wine pairing which was very good and complemented the food well. We have already recommended this to friends.

The food at this 1 star Michelin restaurant was amongst the best I've eaten, even better than some 2 or 3 star places. The dining room is small, intimate and cosy. Staff were warm and welcoming, and lovely. Made us feel at home. The wine pairing menu was excellent - each wine was perfect for each course. The star of the show was the food. The Korean influence is subtle, but there. A slight note of heat, a tang at the end of a bite, truly magnificent. Difficult to pick favourites, but the pork was sublime. The sea bream was perfect. Loved the Gamtae Sandwich canape. All of it was so well thought out. I could eat it all again. I hope this restaurant continues to prosper, it's a real gem.

We visited a few days ago to celebrate our Anniversary. The experience from start to finish was simply incredible. The waiters and waitresses were all very attentive and kind, providing excellent service. The food was delicious - a lovely variety and we enjoyed all courses. I particularly enjoyed the presentation of the tea leaves at the end to choose a tea for after our meal, a nice exciting touch! Receiving an anniversary card was really lovely and we just genuinely had a lovely time and would certainly return. I would highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A nice, clean and well organised room. The service is friendly and generally efficient, we had a waitress who had to seek assistance re infirmation, but the others well well informed and very nice. The chef is clearly talented, serious and generally very good. There were things that did not work well together food wise. At one point there was a palette cleanser sorbet/ice cream, it was like from a supermarket, inexcusable really. I found this review very hard because the chef came round to most tables to say hello, I could tell he is talented, but would say he may need a bit of time to decide what type of food this is, in order to excel in it. When you have a Michelin star you cannot really be ok, you need to be great at every level. If he can make this a distinctively amazing modern Korean restaurant - he is talented enough to do it - he might even get two stars. He is now neither Korean nor European, I was lost. I will return in 6 months and hope it will be all that I had hoped it to be. Good luck.

Our son booked Sollip to celebrate his birthday and to be honest we were a bit skeptical due to the cost and one of us being vegetarian. Happy to say that we were simply blown away by this restaurant. The atmosphere and warm welcome instantly made us feel at home and relaxed. The waiting staff were far more than that, so very friendly, welcoming and charismatic. The chef popped out to say hi and our son received a birthday card ( & slice of delicious cake & candle at end of meal) which was a lovely gesture. We had the Tasting menu and wine pairing. The whole experience was simply outstanding. All the dishes were truly delicious ( menus posted on previous review) with so much care and attention to detail given to both food and wine. The vegetarian dishes were incredible in their own right rather than an after thought. This meal was the most expensive we have ever had but considering the sheer quality and skill and that we were there for 3 hours it’s an experience we will savour for many years to come. Thanks to all at Sollip, wishing you all the best for the future.

Is this the best restaurant in London? I would say so. We love Da Terra, Cycene, Clove Club but this is up a notch further. We had the tasting menu and every course was sublime. The service was fantastic, cheerful and helpful. This is cooking of the very highest order and greatest skill. Woongchul Park, the chef, is a culinary genius. Go! It must surely be about to get two Michelin stars.

They serve a 9 course meal which without the amuses is a 7 course meal. Some of the dishes were exiting, daring even but the amuses and other dishes were rather flat. Wine pairing wete great. Not the wines i would like to drink a bottle of but with the dishes very nice. Coffee was tooooo dark roasted!

A small but very nice restaurant. Very simple but effective decor that allowed for a very tranquil atmosphere. The menu consisted of a nine course taster or a vegetarian taster. We had the former. The food overall was French at its core with a fusion of Korean flavours and ingredients. It was very interesting indeed. Very well balanced with vegetable, fish, meat, puddings in equal measure and working in harmony. I’d say the portion size and overall amount of food was spot on. Each course had something to offer. We were done in an hour and a half so thankfully not a marathon tasting menu. Service throughout was very good with very engaging staff. This was the spring menu which changes each season. Guess I will be back in the summer then.

We waited six weeks to get a table at SOLLIP - a Michelin star restaurant everyone us talking about and I have to admit we were a little bit disappointed. 9 dishes incl. appetisers and beside the desserts which were different, yet supe yummy the rest of the dishes were good but not outstanding. Its a good restaurant, its original but it's not gourmet aka in French 'gourmand'.

I really loved sollip, it's gone immediately to the very top of my favourite places in London. The food is masterful but unpretentious at the same time, the service is very warm but not invasive, the setting is simple but pleasant. And the price for a tasting menu is quite refreshing for London. I will be back, hopefully.

A small and cozy, upscale yet informal restaurant (1 minute away from London Bridge station) run by Korean chefs offering a European-style set tasting menu with a subtle Asian twist. The service was super-friendly and genuinely made us feel welcome. Perfect for a special treat.
