We went to the Soho Bar for a couple of drinks before having dinner. We were approached by Nico, who offered to us two excellent choices of cocktails, which we really enjoyed! The Grandfather is going to be my drink of choice in the future! Nico was very attentive and amicable.

Visited on a Thursday night for a late dinner and cocktails, was left disappointed by the food and drinks. The cocktails looked like good flavours on the menu but tasted fairly plain in reality. The food was average at best and nothing to make me revisit. The saving grace was the decent playlist.

This place is part of the 'Soho House' group of clubs, hotels and restaurants. Apart from the fact that there are a lot of similarities in the menu, it's not at all like a chain restaurant. The decor is typically hipster distressed. The menu is nice. I had the Flat Iron Chicken, which was fantastic. All of the sides were equally excellent. Highly recommended.

The food was absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced for the area. The staff were likewise great. There was a minor niggle when one of the drinks they brought to us was not what we'd ordered. However they realised the mistake and brought the correct one without us having to say anything.

Going to the theatre straight from work is hard. We all came out really hungry. The great thing about Soho Kitchen is that it serves food until late at night. At 10.30pm many restaurants would stop serving. But this was just outside the theatre and just what we were after. The Food doesn't take long to come out. the chicken burger was moist, the rib meat was soft and came clean off the bone and the Mojito is bottomless! The food is not decadent and is just like any diner menu but it is nice and cooked well, and that's why I'll give it a 6/10. We ordered way more than we could eat!

Been coming here for ages as i really like the vibe, great cocktails, food can be hit and miss but love the sofas and the atmosphere of the place. However i do agree with the previous reviewer that the staff are so miserable, I'm not being sexist here but the guys are fine its just the ladies are so miserable and it makes you fell like they are doing you a massive favour serving you! if it carries on i won't be going back which is a shame. Bring t back the red hair host that used to be at the door! she was really friendly and professional.

We visited on a quiet tuesday lunch, served by Gianluca and a dark haired miserable woman. Both were consistent in not smiling or looking happy to be at work. No one asked how our food was or if we would like a dessert. Went down the road to enjoy a more friendly atmosphere and give our money to someone else.

We booked to dine here after a karaoke session as it was conveniently over the road. Very pleasantly surprised. Although we arrived before our table was ready we were given a complimentary glass of fizz whilst we waited...very unexpected. Two rounds of nachos between 4 was a perfect starter, delicious. Cocktails were lovely. Steak and ribs for main were all cooked to perfection. The ribs particularly generous, I couldn't finish them. Even the garlic mayo was special. Buzzy atmosphere. Literally the only critique I have is that there was a slight delay in our main course order being taken, but that's only because we had worked up an appetite singing.

I booked Soho bar & kitchen for mine and my friends birthday gathering. I let the bar know beforehand and on our arrival we were shown to our table and then offered free bubbly for all! What a lovely surprise. This really started our evening off our evening in style. We then went on to their elderflower cocktails which went down far too easily !! We shared nachos for starters and had steaks/ribs for mains. The food was lovely however the service was a little slow. That evening was very busy so they must be popular! <br />I loved the style and ambience and would definitely recommend.

I'd been here before with friends and knew it would be a lovely place to bring my parents who are fussy eaters and drinkers. The house champagne was reasonable in price and perfectly dry and fizzy, the dry white wine bottle was easily finished by my Mum who enjoyed it immensely and my Dad and Husband ordered more beer. The food was down to earth American/ French inspired and carb heavy. Perfect for drinking with. We came back after the theatre for more drinks with more people in attendance. The one minor let down was that the DJ forgot the count down to NYE. My husband saw it was midnight on his phone and we celebrated by yelling Happy New Year at the top of our lungs, instead of a 20 second countdown.

Firstly I want to make it clear that I have rated this restaurant five star in it's category of fast food dining. I am not comparing it to Michelin star restaurants. This is a fast food restaurant with a small menu. The food, however, was brilliant. I had raw vegetables to start. This was an excellent selection of fresh, crispy vegetables with two two dips. I couldn't fault it. My chicken and salad was also fresh and delicious, as was my husband's two courses. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service is good. The toilets were clean and well maintained, which is always a good sign. For a quick meal I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The bill for two courses and two drinks, including service was £60.19.

I have been there a few good times now with the course of the last 5 years. And as i dont live in the london area, it is also one of the places i love to pop in for lunch. It is in the heart of the soho area, and you are crowded with the busy life style of the gay life in London. The food is very divers and there is on the menu list a wide variety of salads, fried up snaks and wacamoles, etc... but not only this, the mains are done up nicely on your place, as i am a fish lover, i always go for the fish of the day. The prices are very affordable £20 to £30 per person thats what we pay when we go there with starter, main and a desert for 2 and bottle of red.

Did not try their usual menu as I was here for the one week Littlebaohk residency. The place is so dark and the tables for two so small it was it was a juggling act of all parties to arrange the plates and glasses to accommodate everything. What can I say, not many veg options in that the truffle fries were mushroomy and rich but the vegetarian bao/bun was also based on mushroom (you know some vegetarians do not eat mushrooms)! Luckily I do eh?! My mate had the chicken wings which she enjoyed immensely but she didn't rate the pork belly bun (incidentally the waitress served it to me and so I accidentally took a bite out of the pork bun not realising it was not vegetarian and was just confused cos I could only taste the ketchup)... My mate also bit into my shitake mushroom tempeh bun and was not impressed that her "pork" was such a rich mushroom flavour! Anyway that aside we decided to go for the dessert buns - salted caramel and the matcha with condensed milk both being a slab of ice cream in a deep fried bao/bun. It's tiny and really messy to eat and looks better than it tastes... Argh just wasn't impressed - in addition as the night went on, the music got louder and louder... some redeeming points, front of house staff were really friendly as were the waitstaff who provided towels to clean our hands with before and after the messy baos - which is why they get the third star. Harsh I know but just being honest!

The burgers are good (but not brilliant, given the current high standard in Central London). Service very poor and uninterested. Food is very expensive (for a bistro / burger menu), and be aware all come with nothings so you will be encouraged to add sides (some of which are not even shown on the menu)....and the clincher...the dreaded "you only have this table for two hours" greeting as you sit down. "Yes, and nice to see you too!". Overall impression was of "good" burgers but like care or appreciation of the customer / customer experience.

Everything the Soho House group touches turns to gold, and Soho Kitchen & Bar is no exception. The interior is fantastic, the food is good and nicely presented, and it's reasonably priced. We visited for lunch, 6 of us in a booth, and ordered various fish, brunch and salad dishes. Service was a little slow, but the interior design was great, the atmosphere good, and the bill very reasonable (less than £15 a head - with no alcohol).

Having arranged a hen party in London, I booked lunch here.We were a large group, but not huge...11 in total, and we booked about a month in advance. On arrival, service was good and we had a very warm welcome. There were other tables taken but nothing too chaotic by any means. We all ordered just a salad or sandwiches with chips as a side...this is where it went slightly wrong. All the food came at different times with the sides not coming until everyone had finished their meals. We all ate at different times so that the food didn't go cold and it's was all just a bit of a shambles.HOWEVER....the customer service we received when I complained was brilliant.I mentioned to the manager that this was a special occasion and that it had been all over the place with food timings and was greeted straight away with a very sincere apology. No attitude at all (which I have witnessed) and he instantly offered to knock the chips off the bill. I was happy with that and went to rejoin the group at the table.5 minutes later, he came to the table with a very nice bottle of champagne, free of charge as an apology. What a lovely gesture!!!The way this was all dealt with left us smiling, happy and not thinking negatively about the place at all.I should add also that the food was very tasty. I had the Philly cheese steak which was delicious!!!

I came here with my colleagues for lunch last week. The decor isn't going to win any prizes, but this is very much a case of 'what you see is what you get', and it does this very well.Nice, simple, no-frills menu (the philly steak sandwich is just incredible!) and nice selection of local craft beers, both in bottles and on draft. Both the food and drinks are reasonably priced (about £10 for a main and £5 for a pint of craft beer), and if you work locally and ask very nicely, you can get a discount card which gives you 50 per cent off, which is unbelievable value for money! The service was okay, not spectacular but not awful. In rambling around Soho looking for a celebratory drinks place I wasnt, to be honest, immediately taken by this place. However it did have table windows and the windows lifted out...so thought it might be worth a shot. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The wine list is small but well formed. We started off with a Spanish wine at around the twenty pound mark...the name I foget, I'm afraid...and then a bottle of Chilean Santa Akvara at £27 that I had never heard of but went well with prawns, ham and cheese fingers, chicken liver pate with sourdough, and jalapeño croquettes. Portion size was reasonable and prices remarkable considering the restaurant's position. We were eventually moved to a table window after harassing the waiter who was very understanding. Okay so it's not a haute cuisine master stroke, but I really liked it all the same, and the atmosphere was very amiable. It's a nice place to sit and watch the world go by, and considering that its directly opposite a club and a theatre, there is great visual entertainment to be had. My favourite place in Soho at the moment.

The Soho Kitchen and Bar menu sounded distinctly average; it was small and it failed to impress. Hotdogs, eggs benedict, royale, cauliflower cheese and burgers. I wasn't excited about dinner, but meeting the girls was something I was looking forward to, so I bit my tongue and thought I'd just grin and bear it. Oh how wrong I was. Soho Kitchen was absolutely rammed when we arrived. Lively, loud and with lovely staff to boot, I was sucker-punched.Our waitress was funny, attentive and didn't ask us to repeat our orders over the noise. She was witty, quick and discussed the details of each meal. I was impressed. My dish of eggs royale was the best I've ever eaten. Instead of traditional hollandaise sauce, it was a mix of classic hollandaise with mornay cheese, reminiscent of eggs florentine. The unexpected French twist on what I know to be eggs royale, was much appreciated. Now I hadn't expected much of the other dishes, but when the deep ceramic dish of cauliflower cheese turned up, we were all taken away. It was a deep bowl of bacon, cheesy and spinach. My friend, who was hungry couldn't finish it and that's a sign of a good meal in my eyes. We also ordered a plate of nachos to share. When they arrived, I ended up too full from my meal, but they were phenomenal. My friend couldn't put them down. She inhaled them, not to mention her own meal. I shared the Caesar salad with my friend, which was served and seasoned perfectly. And my friend who doesn't normally eat a lot of food, wolfed down her burger like is was her last meal, it was huge as well. If I'm honest, the only setback, if you could call it that, was the noise: it's not a quiet venue. But it's perfect for an after work, kick back and relax kind of evening. It's definitely a cocktail, unusual ale and snack food bar, as well as fantastic kitchen. It was busy, but I could also see it being underrated. This place is an on-trend diner-come-kitchen and bar, that serves generous portions at non-scary prices, Soho Kitchen is brilliant.

We found this hidden gem during our first visit to London. I recall we satisfied a craving for a family place to have lunch. Despite we were in Trafalgar Square, which was particularly in the city centre, this restaurant was like a hole in the wall. They serve quite big portions, and I will not lie if I say that you can’t go wrong with anything you choose on their menu. There was really vibrant atmosphere, moreover, its owner hosted us on that day. We didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable and combined with top-notch service, I would say that this Italian restaurant was out of this planet. When we make our next trip to London, we will definitely make a repeat visit. Hope, it will open soon.

Had to call the shop 6 times to find out how long our delivery would take as it had already gone way past the estimated delivery time. We kept getting told "it's on its way". Ended up having to drive to them as they were ignoring our calls and the food was already 30mins late. By the time we eventually received our food, it was cold, soggy and flavourless. It's very overpriced for what you get. Two regular portions of sweet potato fries cost £10!!! And they were very average, had plenty better. Cost us £44 for two of us which is far too much considering how bad the service is, poor food quality and shocking delivery time. Would never order again.
