SOHO Coffee Co. in Bristol, City of

Everything is great about this cafe especially their matcha lattes HOWEVER, they always close early from the official closing time and i am not talking about 5 or 10 minutes I'm talking about around 45 to 40 minutes.

I ordered pumpkin spiced lattee and the banana cocoa porridge. Lattee was nice, rich in flavour, the porridge was way to dry and as its kept in the fridge the peanut butter on the top was thick. I added a bit of coffee to it to melt it a bit ;D Service okay.

Nice and cozy. Good food, good coffee, reasonably fast service. Good value for money. That's day one. Day two: 11 am sorry no sausages, no bacon. Really? You only got that on the menu and some porridge. Disappointed

Ha e had to complain about this place to senior management. Havent used since. Will be back, as the only other coffee place in Cabot.

Super friendly staff and lovely place to grab a coffee and a snack

Would be a 4 if the cinnamon buns were fresh. Ours was clearly not baked on the same day and was so cold and chewy. The flavour was there and it had potential to 4 star bun. Cronut was nice so they just manage a 3.

I recently visited Soho Coffee and had an exceptional experience, largely thanks to the wonderful Lucy. From the moment I walked in, Lucy's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed. Her genuine passion for her work and her customers truly shines through, making the visit all the more enjoyable. I loved here soooooo much! This is my favourite coffee shop ever! Great coffee, staff is amazing and super friendly and they always make my day better 🌞!! The baristas knowledge shines through us they guide patrons through the intricacies of each brew. If you are the coffee freak then this the best spot!

I went for a “too good to go” collection and someone who uses too good to go at least 4,5 times a month this was one of the worst experiences ever. There was no variety at all and wayyy less food was given. The staffs attitude was quite rude but that’s not an issue for me since it was quite busy at that time. But will never reserve a too good to go bag from here.

Service was incredibly slow. We had finished our choice of cake 5/10 minutes before coffee arrived and then had to go up to ask for the smoothie as we had seen that it had been sat in the blender for 10/15 minutes. The food itself was perfectly satisfactory. Issues could’ve been resolved with having more staff. From what we could see only one member of staff was actually making the drinks and the other one was out the back? Other people were complaining of slow service too. Probably won’t come back.

Honestly loved my coffee!! Also had avocado and eggs on toast which was perfectly cooked and served hot! Would recommend purely based on the atmosphere but the food and drink is a bonus.

cosy and comfortable atmosphere and right in the centre of bristol! they had a lovely bakery section with multiple pastries and cakes on display and broad breakfast, lunch and drinks menus all at reasonable prices with many vegan options available. The manger, Lucy was especially lovely and a real credit to the company, I cant wait to visit again when I am next in Bristol. Thank You!

Today my students (students with disabilities from a local college) and I visited Soho and this is what they said: A: "I loved the ham and cheese toastie and hot chocolate. This cafe looks beautiful to have meals and eat together in. My food was tasty and delicious." B: "I had a hot chocolate in Soho. It was nice in there. The staff don't rush you and wait for you to count your money." C: "The waitresses were polite and patient. My toastie was cheesy and my brownie was gooey in the middle."

Acceptable prices, large options of food and very nice atmosphere. Visited Soho coffee last week and very friendly supervisor Loredana warmed up the milk for my baby. Thank you 😊 Will go back to Soho Coffee ☕️ Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍 👌

I'm a regular customer at this coffee shop since begining to work in the centre of Bristol. The staff are always absolutely perfect, friendly & accomodating. The lovely blonde french-braided member of staff who works most days is always an absolute star & seems to remember my order better that I do! Even when I have witnessed particularly awkward customers the staff endeavour to give an excellent service! Thank you for brightening my mornings on a regular basis Soho Cabot Circus team!! :)

Thought this would be a splendid spot to take my boyfriend, who was visiting from london. Would have been a nice seating area to people watch and soak up christmas atmosphere. How wrong I was! I ordered 2 biscotti hot chocolates and was told they woukd call us. I said "we are sat outside will we hear you?" The young girl said "yes we will call you outside" one assumed....stupidly...that they would open the door and poke head out as its a very short space to walk. Time passes I go in and ask if our drinks are ready where a member of staff quipped sharply " they've been ready for ages!" So I explained what I was told and asked her to make new drinks as ours were freezing. The answer was a flat NO as "we called you" so i answered in a tone similar to they used "then you better issue ne with a refund, as at £9.30 i don't think its much to ask for a little customer service" appalling place and attitudes. Don't waste your time guys

I'm coffee most people take coffee in hand.... It has a discount for students... Coffee is pretty good for England.... There is a cleanliness issue... I guess I have to get used to it... It's a very good place if you want to get a coffee in hand...

Waited half an hour for a coffee and pastry, pastry was a bit burnt! Only 3 staff working and they didn't seem to have a good system

Piles of dirty cups on tables, 5 “servers” Who don’t serve in order. Not great attitude when another customer queried their order. Sadly won’t be back

Overpriced hot chocolate, it didn't even taste nice!

Service really slow then chaos when it comes to picking up orders as my order was given away. Needs a better system in place for orders rather then anyone grabbing them. I asked for drinks to be in the cafe and they gave us takeout ones considerable smaller had to wait 25 mins for a drink. Drinks tasted great though.

Great coffee and croissants. I know coffee shops can be noisy with all the coffee grinding and blenders going but the size of place limits getting away from the noise. Having said that, it was still good place to go. Thank you.

Always super friendly staff at the Bristol Cabot branch. They know me well as I’m a regular and work next door so they always know exactly how I like my coffee (which is always delish)!

One of my stop off points for a coffee and cake. Very good coffee and a variety of cakes. The bonus is its right in the heart of Cabot Circus.

Ummm I’m writing this review after we’d eaten lunch here, if I’d read them before I’d have probably not even gone though the door. All be it we only had a cold drink and a sandwich (mine was a toasted ham & cheese) The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff seemed happy in there work.

They start servicing only on take away cups 1 hour away from closure. Unacceptable, but it's a chain so it is what it is I don't blame the staff

Arrived for lunch on a Thursday just after 1pm. Ordered coffee and two jacket potatoes. Coffee was served promptly and was ok. First choice of tuna mayo was unavailable therefore settled for bacon and cheese. Was told potatoes would be brought to our table. After a protracted wait checked at counter and was presented with one potato. Was informed that the other had been delivered. Well obviously not to me! Pointed out that the order was for two only to be told that they did not have any more potatoes. Accepted a refund for one potato. The staff seemed oblivious to the concept of good customer service and obviously have issues with ordering sufficient supplies to fulfill food orders for one of their staple hot food offerings . The visit was a real shame because previous ones to other Soho Coffee establishments had been really pleasant. The only thing that could be commended was the baby changing facilities in the toilet.

How wrong can you go, serving coffee and sandwiches, you may ask. But that is to underestimate the staff. One is dragging every single chair across the floor, as she wipes the tables. They’re really light chairs, it would be just as easy to lift them, but where’s the fun of that, when you could be subjecting the customers to a hideous scraping noise, every 15 seconds? What’s really impressive is that you can hear it over the music, which is insanely loud, if you’re anywhere near a speaker. Despite the chair-scraper, most of the tables are dirty. They’ve got 4-5 staff standing around, dpi nothing, but maybe none of them scrape chairs as effectively? They all look miserable. The whole atmosphere is miserable. No wonder the tables are 90% empty, even though it’s lunchtime. There is just nothing about this place that’s welcoming or enjoyable. I like Soho Coffee. I’d planned to settle in for a couple of hours - would probably have spent £20+. After 5 minutes, I went to sit in the public area again. It was less painful.

Have been several times and the coffee is lovely, however the customer service is appalling, such rude staff members who take ages to serve you and are very rude and blunt when serving. I wouldn’t of been back so many times however the coffee is excellent , shame the staff ruin the experience.

On walking into the cafe it all looked good. I ordered the Soho full breakfast and my daughter a flat bread with egg and bacon on. Her egg was broken therefore hard and the flat bread was crisp where it had been left under the lights. My full Soho breakfast was awful. The sausages were flavoured with some herbs which made them unlike any sausage I had ever eaten. Bacon was smoked (menu didn’t say this) toast described as buttered wasn’t buttered. But the worst part of all were the staff. Rude and arrogant. Their system to get the right food to the right customer is appalling meaning customers. were not getting the right orders. Several customers asked for their money back and left in disgust. On top of that my coffee was luke warm and weak.

I understand that every business has to make a profit, but 2 bottles of cider marked up more than £9 from what I can buy it in a supermarket is taking the Mickey a bit. On a positive note staff are very polite.

Rude staff. My daughter is a student so asked for discount as stated on the counter only to be told no sorry we don’t give for drinks? If this is true then make the sign clear for all students in the first place. We won’t go there again as more welcome elsewhere by friendlier staff 😊

Espresso good. We had avocado and eggs on toast. The eggs were fried which was unexpected but ok. The avocado and dressing was excellent. The toast was virtually inedible as it was too hard. Toaster not working so the toast was done in the oven. I think best to offer just bread rather than toast that could chip a tooth.

We popped in here while waiting for the Lego store to open and picked up a can of Pepsi and a chocolate twist pastry product for the sum of £3.55. The chap who served us (I am sorry I did not get the name from the badge) was very polite and friendly, when I asked for a pain au chocolate, they did not have any, which is when he recommended the chocolate twist, which was indeed chocolatey and really bumped my sugars up afterwards. We sat outside and ate while watching the world go by. It was a clean, well-presented establishment, that I would recommend going back to.

Awful. The coffee wasn’t very hot. No plain croissants at 8.25 am. The bacon roll was all fat and the roll was dry and hard. Inedible. They shouldn’t be selling food as bad as this. To be fair a refund was given. The staff were very pleasant.

The coffee was good the service was good ideally there could be more space for you to wait once you have given your order has it can get confusing who has ordered and who is waiting we found some where to sit easily the duck khobez and coronation were both good but a little small the reason for a average score is down to price.

Out of all the stresses and delays experienced at Bristol Airport, thumbs up to Soho Coffee outlet. Quick service, friendly staff, decent coffee and a recommend on their cakes. Not too pricey either for an airport. In preparation for our flight and diligent on drinking water in the extremely hot weather, I went to the airport water refill station to discover it bone dry. I returned to Soho who cheerfully refilled my plastic bottle AND gave me a cup of ice to keep it chilled. What stars!

Ordered Grade cappuccino. Walked away and when I sat down to drink it, it was literally hit milk, foam and dusting of chocolate. NO coffee in it al all.

This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tried to eat! No chicken breast included, just a few few pieces of nauseating something. It’s supposed to be a chicken satay wrap! I detected some chicken flavoured paste type substance ( I don’t think it was edible) and the salad had a lovely 🥴 brown tinge. What a soggy mess…

Staff lovely, close to college green. Lots of rivals near but it stands out from the rest. Wish the rainbow cake was back, make a smashing hot chocolate. Tables always clean and shelves fully stocked

Nine of us had an early morning snack here but it was awful, poor quality and quantity and extremely expensive. I would give it no stars if possible. The staff had a couldn't care less attitude. There are other food establishment in the terminal so avoid Soho!

Not the friendliest of staff here but I was pretty cheesed off for wasting time at the disgraceful Brunel Cafe nearby. Coffee was very good and so were our sausage/ bacon rolls. Service was quick.

Food is good, but I find the coffee middling, a little bitter (have been a few times). It's better than the national chains certainly but if you're looking specifically for coffee rather than a sit down cafe with food, there are better places.

We normally prefer to visit independent coffee shops but this just happened to be in the right place at the right time. We were pleased we visited as the staff were very pleasant and the coffee was good. Cash wasn’t taken which seems common in...

After i replied FOUR times I can not hear you, they turned down the godaweful music. Then it was 6 quid for a sausage sandwich - microwaved in a carcinogenic plastic bag. Never again.

Coffee was alright and the tables were clean. The raspberry drink had so much ice that it was barely a drink. But nice place to sit down and rest for a little.

Not enough space, tables not being cleared or cleaned, needs more staff

Ordered a jkt potato when l received it l found it was not cooked all the way through, l took it back to the counter and politely told the girl who was not happy that l had said so, l felt that she reluctantly agreed to recook the potato. No apology given and when l got back my food it still was not cooked through. Unhappily l left.

40 minute wait for food. Staff too busy chatting amongst themselves with no urgency on orders for food. Absolute joke and no apology or offer of a refund for the wait.

Quite possibly the longest wait I have ever had for a average flat white….
