Snack Attack in Plymouth

Found this little cafe whilst walking the dog and definitely found a little gem. Both of us had the early bird full English which comes with coffee or tea, for less than tenner for two. All cooked fresh and not at all greasy. Staff very friendly and dog got a free sausage. Now can't walk dog pass the cafe without pulling towards the door. Other meals on menu very well priced.

I ordered some food via Just Eat on Saturday at 12:57 the order had still not arrived at 14:00. Just Eat gave me the option to ask for money back without cancelling my order, which I clicked on. I then received a message from Snack Attack saying my order had been cancelled! Needless to say I will steer clear of Snack Attack and advise everyone else to aswell.

We ordered from here on just eat the staff are fantastic nothing is to much trouble. You would be hard pressed to find better in Plymouth. The home cooked meals are to die for and if I could hire the staff for at home I would keep up the good work. We now order as often as we can thank you for great food and service

If ever there was a hangover cure

Great staff and they always do great breakfasts. The Early Bird Brekkies before 10.30am at £3.60 is delightedly recommended. Good vegetarian choices also. One of the best 'greasy spoons' in Plymouth.

Visited this cafe for a couple of breakfasts. One carnivorous & one veggie. Very tasty & the service was friendly & quick. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely eat there again.

Rude waitress and dirty plates left on tables from previous customers for at least 15 minutes. The cafe was empty otherwise with 2 staff working - no reason for this. Food was edible but poor quality and very greasy

My husband rang and placed an order of 3 breakfast rolls to be delivered to our home address. We was told there would be an hr on delivery and we said that would be okay. An hour later the phone rings and the company say they can't find our address so my husband explained where we lived and the lady said she would send out delivery. Nearly 2 hrs later no delivery so my husband rang up to be told that they were busy and they were no longer delivering. Needless to say we will never use this company again and as we were first time customers I hope this review makes people think twice before ordering from here!!

Good value food served with a friendly smile that makes you to want to come back.

was extremely good value getting two eggs, two sausages, two pieces of bacon, two hash browns and mushrooms the only problem was the tomatoes which looked like thick blood and all of this was under £5

Popular cafe on Union Street serving the usual breakfast, jackets, etc. Service is usually quick despite sometimes busy periods, and staff always friendly and welcoming

Visit before 1030 am to get the fantastic breakfast @ a bargain £3.20.. Great value, great food & great service.... Well worth a visit! 😂

Should of listened to the reviews I read before ordering from here, ordered two sandwiches, cheesy chips and two can drinks at 10.30am , got told it would arrive 11.45, which is a long time to wait anyway for two sandwiches and portion of chips , I then got a call at 11.50 saying they will be another half hour because the car has a puncture in the wheel apparently but then went on to say that they are just cooking my food now at 11.50 so even if the car didn't have this 'puncture' it still wouldn't of been on time. The lady on the phone was rude and didn't offer any discount and didn't seem very apologetic just simply replied with 'we'll do you want the food or not?' So rude. As for the food when it finally arrived at 12.30 so two hours after ordering, it was plain no flavour also specifically asked for tomato sauce on chips and sandwiches , turned up with no sauces in the sandwiches literally just bread cheese and bacon , bacon was soggy and loads of fat. Chips were like cardboard also and frozen in the middle. Will not be ordering from here again , baring in mind I wasn't expecting much anyway and not a fussy eater , I still threw most of it away and do not advise anyone else too order from here either. Shocking service.

I ordered breakfast for me and my boyfriend one lazy morning and this place was a good find! I had a vegetarian breakfast and due to my fussy-ness asked for no tomatoes or mushrooms with scrambled eggs, it came perfect and i even had a cheeky extra hash brown-win! The toast came warm and buttery toasted to my perfection also. My boyfriends bacon and egg baguette came in a lush soft panini type baguette with crispy bacon and a grand amount of scrambled egg-thoroughly enjoyed it. Our food came within good time and was delivered by a friendly woman. Definitely will be ordering again-thanks for an incredible breakfast!

I placed an order on just eat for a toasted sandwich among other things. They are very generous with portion sizes even though i have to request for half the amount of cheese which they do without any fuss. On this particular occasion my order was rejected by the restaurant (I assume due to the amount of footfall they were currently receiving. A little disappointed, but I understood. Hours later there was a knock at my door with my order delivered by who I assume was the manager. It took me completely by surprise as i really wasnt expecting it. I applaud you snack attack, your customers really do seem to be your priority! loved it!

Greasy if you like that, then I tried the cafe up the road next to the post office wow!! It was clean friendly and we were spoilt for choice please try the sandwich box u will not look back.

I don't know what they do, possibly witchcraft, to make their bacon so tasty but it is amazing. Great selection of awesome foods, eat in, take away, they even deliver! I've been a customer of snack attack for 12 years and they never skimp on quality and value.

Joke of a service, always late with the food and wouldn't deliver anymore because rang up and complained about the horrible bacon that was thicker than the bread ( apparently that's mouthing off) also another friend who argued with the driver found a pubic hair in his roll

Just another greasy spoon ? Perhaps not , staff friendly , value good in terms of quantity and variety. Quality may be a little questionable , as there seemed to be a lot of fat on the bacon , that being said all was hot and tasted wonderful . Just what you want from a full English . This place serves up the finest Breakfast I've ever eaten, there's plenty on the plate and It's always hot and fat free, you can add extras to the standard Breakfast and if you arrive early i.e. before 10.30am you get it at a discounted price. This café not only does a good Breakfast but has a large menu including several home made dishes. The staff are very friendly and always cater to your every needs.

This cafe is an excellent place to get good grub, to put it simply! They offer a wide variety of food to eat on their menu, and all of it is equally good quality. As a vegetarian, I've never found myself feeling short on choice, but instead spoiled for it, and if there's something you think you'd like if only it didn't have something else in it, you can easily ask for them to take it out. It should be mentioned that the portions are absolutely huge, and by the end you'll be looking at your leftover food with pain because you simply can't finish it. My girlfriend and I like to share our portions, but even then, there's still food perfectly edible teasing us (So save room if you value your stomach). The breakfast should probably be the first thing you try here, especially with their deal that if you get there early there's a reduced price. The breakfast - and all the other food - is already an excellent price with the size of the portions, so run with this deal if you're a fan of waking up early because it'll be worth it! The place itself is tucked away between two shops, across the street from Aldi. It's not hard to spot, and the interior, though small, is simple and clean with everything laid out nicely for you to easily see prices and deals they offer. It should be known they close a 3pm, so getting there around 2 at the latest should be key in your plans to visit, however they open at 7am, so if you're up early before work, school, or just in the area feeling peckish whilst strolling to town, they're guaranteed to be ready to take your order. The service: Food doesn't take long at all, and if you've asked for something not to be included, they may ask you if you'd like something else to compensate for it. They take your order fast, and deliver your food just as efficiently, and during your short wait, they have plenty of newspapers and magazines to read from. I hugely recommend it, and my girlfriend and I shall be going again soon to try some different things on their menu. If your mouth doesn't water at the sound of a full English breakfast (complete with trimmings) for just £3, then it doesn't matter because there's still going to be something for you! Amazing food at a better than amazing price. Located just opposite Aldi on Union Street, Snack Attack is small and easily missed. However, extremely popular with workmen, this little place offers delicious food and huge portions at unbelievable prices. The inside is nothing special. Decor is fine, and it's generally clean and tidy with some newspapers and magazines to read while you're waiting for food. Due to the small space, there isn't that much seating available but they managed to get a decent amount of tables to fit in without making the area cramped. They have a nice menu and are more than happy to cook you a mix of things - eg. chips, egg and beans (which isn't on the menu together). I have to say that my family, partner and I all agree that this is the best place to eat breakfast in Plymouth. Food is quick and always amazingly delicious, cooked to perfection. I'm salivating right now. And this is considering that none of us are particularly big fans of breakfasts, or greasy grub - we're all vegetarians and health conscious. The vegetarian breakfast has beans, hash browns, eggs, vegetable sausages, mushrooms and toast or fried bread. The plates are huge and you'll struggle to eat all the food despite how nice it is. After ordering at the till, service is quick and efficient. They've never once got my order wrong and I've never had to complain about any of the food - every single time has been perfect. The only downside is that they shut early - at 3pm. They also do early morning offers of breakfasts for little more than £2, if I remember rightly. This is an absolutely outrageous bargain. If you don't mind the casual cafe interior and are just want good grub, go along - what are you waiting for?

Caught my attention a few days ago because there was a guy sitting on the pavement touching up the exterior paintwork. Hadn't noticed it before. Friendly little place with a friendly feel and a good deal of character. Provided you are careful there is parking to be had just opposite. Useful daytime facility half way down Union Street on the right.

Ok I'm not really the kind of chap that does greasy spoon kind of places but this ones fab! All the standard fare you'd expect, chips with most things. Bargain prices and colourful clientele - perfect for one of those comfort eating kind of days!
