Really nice place. Took me 5 minutes to realise the guy explaining the beers on the board to me didn't work there, he was just being friendly. 3 casks on with future ones advertised. Mrs Bittershurn chose from a range of gins and mixers to develop something that looked like a potion from the Nutty Professor which she claimed was nice. Beer excellent.

Great few beers to choose from with a fair few getting ready. The NZ rye IPA was amazing

Ale and cider house. Three real ales of varying strength, colour and type. All served in excellent condition. Friendly locals for an easy chat.

Local micro pub with CASH ONLY BAR !! Took me by surprise. Lovely local Kent beers for 4.50 a pint. Everyone very friendly there. Sells crisps and peanuts.

Popped in briefly with the other half, enjoyed a pint of green hop ale by Canterbury Ales brewery. Nice ambience and very good COVID precautions Beer was awesome too!

Top micropub, open at a lunchtime (!!!) 3 ales on, one too strong for drivers, one pretty good, and one excellent, from Gun Brewery. Must find a reason to come to this neck of the woods again!

Little micro brewery does get busy but that is because it is a great place to socialise and drink ales that you not yet tried

I have been a longterm visitor to the Smugglers, all I can say it's a lovely micropub and feel very comfortable when I drink here... Allot more than most pubs these days.
