Lovely restaurent in New Romney with attentive friendly staff. We come here often. Food is so lovely and portion sizes are good!!! Highly recommend if you like your fresh salads and meat.

Friendly service provided in a family run restaurant with hearty and tasty Turkish dishes. The prices were reasonable at around £20 for a main and there is a good selection of options to choose from.

Expecting a nice wrap similar to a gyros full of salad sauces, with a side of chips i was very wrong this takeout was not worth £11.50 per meal from just eat no options to add extras. Compare to the pictures of dining in which we have done. This was not served with love or with customer satisfaction in mind. Resturaunt has called and offered a fresh new meal with all salad as expected and explained that JUST EAT has its own ordering platform. Please order via phone to prevent disapointment..

We recently were here attending a wedding reception that was held in a private part of the restaurant at the back of the building. The service and the food was excellent could not fault it in anyway. The staff are so friendly would recommend to family and friends.

Welcoming and friendly restaurant with authentic Turkish food

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was excellent and by far the best turkish dish I've tasted. Staff are really friendly . Food was top quality and plenty of it . Very reasonably priced too.

So having ate here around a year ago decided it was time to go back. Now the service we got was fine when we got it but often had to go and find someone for drinks. But happy polite staff none the less. The food what we all had was nice, I ordered wings with chips and got 8 wings and probably 16 chips and for about £17.50 I think that is a little over the top. My friend had sheish mixed and got about half of what you would from kebab shop at about a third more expensive. I ordered another portion of tight chips @ £4 So my review is nice food but either lower your price or do a decent portion…. I got home and had a cheese roll

Visited the Diamond Restaurant as a family of 5 for a Birthday Meal. The service and food was 5 star and would definitely dine here again when in the area.

The Best Turkish restaurant! The food was delicious and really generous. You don't need to order sides, the portions are massive. We ordered the mixed hot meze starter for 2 and the mixed platter for 2 for main. And if the food wasn't good enough the staff were fantastic! We were too full to enjoy any of the deserts or interesting coffee options so may try and return before the end of our Holiday. We walked from the nearby holiday park and am glad we did because we needed to walk off our full stomaches.

This restaurant has given me faith back into restaurants service and food quantity, popped in on the off chance as my partner and I were in the area ,it was my partner’s birthday we hadn’t booked so not expecting to get in on a Friday night , lucky for us they managed to find us a table. Service was brilliant just right and food was lovely will definitely go again if in the area . Keep up the good work

We were in the area with work and saw that the restaurant was highly recommended. We were not sure what to expect but ended up having a fantastic meal. It’s not all BBQ meat, I had a great musaka and my colleague a tasty looking salad.

We booked a table ahead, the staff greeted us upon arrival, and we were seated promptly . After ordering the drinks, we were served home-made bread and chilli sauce and yoghurt dip. The bread had chilli oil on it and was really tasty. For the main, we ordered the sharing platter for two. Every meat was cooked to perfection. I loved the koftas as the mince was superb quality. All waitresses were friendly and kind. I was given the pot after finishing the pistachio ice cream. Highly recommended and will come back before heading home.

The best Turkish we have ever eaten! The staff are all so friendly it’s like visiting family every time we dine here, The food is amazing freshly cooked to perfection and the cleanliness is 5*, we recently celebrated our engagement here and had our first date here over a year ago when the owner found out we were gifted a beautiful dessert to share and they changed the music playing in the restaurant to love songs making our evening extra special.

was really looking forward to a family meal for my birthday, myself, my mum , my daughter and my best friend. Service was bad bad bad!!! waited over half an hour before we got a drink , and that was only because i asked the waitress can we please order some drinks. The starters came before the bread that you have before you start. We then waited an hour and 45 minutes for our dinner, while we watched other people who came in after us and sit and enjoy there dinner. No mention of my birthday. We didn’t even finish our food we were all so angry. Waited and waited to pay the bill. Paid most cash needed a card machine, asked the waiter he said i’ll be right back. 20 mins later looking for him he was serving food and drinks. Had to walk up to a young waitress give her the money in her hand and she got the machine. Will never come back here! Worst birthday meal evee

Place was very neat, staff very polite and accommodating as we were also with two toddlers ; food was delicious and we had a really lovely family time. Price was not too prohobitive either. Would go there again for sure.

Very good meat. Very nice and attentive service. Lots of parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. The food was prepared quickly. The children liked it. The facility was very, very clean. Overall very nicely decorated.

Firstly I read other reviews which overall made me choose this place I rarely use tripadvisor but I’m away with my children and thought it would help…we ordered a mixture of vegetarian dishes all of which were extremely bland and not at all fresh. We eat Turkish food a lot and this is the worst I’ve EVER had by far!! The staff seemed very flustered with our order which overall came to £90 The falafels were clearly not cooked in the middle. The rice wasn’t fresh and was badly over cooked the bread was tough(microwaved) the bulgar wheat had no flavour no seasoning and was well undercooked. The veg kebab also completely tasteless and overcooked in fact it was disgusting. It all went in the bin!! We all had upset stomachs during the night. Please avoid this place. I will be going to see the owner for a full refund today.

Had a look and saw the reviews were good so came along with the family to try it out. Was 10 of us and 2 babies and they got us in no problem. Very welcoming staff and quick service. Food was all cooked perfect and great portion sizes. We was all well and truly stuffed!!

A high quality, clean, friendly, top food place to go with anybody or alone. They make you feel welcome and important to them. The food is exceptional for meats and vegetarian. When they get busy you do need to be patient.

We ordered tske away, now I've eaten alot of Turkish food in London but this place knocks them out of the park. Had the mixed grill and every type of meat was cooked to perfection.

We just popped in for lunch. What an amazing feast of a meal; the kebabs were succulent, the vine leaves were stuffed full of rice and herbs, the bread was light and fluffy and the moussaka was homemade and absolutely delicious. Having paid the bill, the manageress called my husband back as the waiter had forgotten to take 20% off the bill - how honest! We had already agreed it was exceptional value and now even more so! We highly recommend it; the summer deal ends soon, I think, but regardless of that, the service and food were both terrific.

Had been recommended by a few people so we gave it a try and was not disappointed, from the minute we stepped in we was greeted and taken straight to our table, we had the diamond platter for four , every bit of it was wonderful the lamb Shish is sooo tender and the kofte is one of the best I have tasted we will definitely be coming back

Ordered a take away , it took nearly two and half hours to deliver locally .We phoned twice. When it arrived the food was cold. We were told we could have it slightly discounted. We were starving .it’s such a shame as we were told it was a system error , we ordered by phone. Sadly on this occasion customer service wasn’t to the standard you would expect.

I have been to many Turkish restaurants and after my visit today, this is easily my new favourite, everything was excellent. There are so many authentic Turkish options to choose from on the menu, however, they have a range of familiar foods (chips, nuggets, burger) for younger children who may be fussy eaters. The atmosphere was great and the servers were so kind, making sure everything was ok and finding the time to stop and talk after the meal. The meal came with a complimentary starter of flat bread, salad and sauces; something not many other places do. The main meals were great, a real plus point is the fact that the meals were not swimming in oil, like some other Turkish restaurants do. Good portion sizes and cooked to perfection. I would easily go back again.

This was a lovely place to eat. I've not had Turkish before, but a friend suggested a starter and a chicken shish main. Loved it all and got a free dessert. Staff very friendly too.

We were staying at the local campsite and decided to order some food. The order arrived promptly and we were very pleased with the meal. The food was fresh, tasty, just enough spicy. Also approved by two preteen daughters.

Lovely setting, great service but unfortunately food not the best. Complained at the end the salmon was dry and the mash tasted like microwaved instant mash. You would have thought they would take that off the bill but hey rather pay my way regardless. Will not be recommending this place.

We are staying at a local holiday park and decided to try this restaurant as is very easy to reach, even with 3 young kids. At lunch time it seemed quiet and we found the interior of the place very impressive. We ordered the seafood casserole, the Diamond Special and chicken nuggets and chips for the children. Everything was absolutely delicious, the meats in the Diamond Special were tasty and juicy. Our server was also very kind and helpful and ultimately the price we paid was also very reasonable. Absolutely recommended if you are visiting the area.

Friendly welcome, Friendly attentive staff. Clean and comfortable but WOW the FOOD is just so tasty. There was four of us and we were all so so pleased we ate here. We would mostly highly recommend this establishment. EXCELLENT !

So so good. We will be back very soon. Starter main all delicious. Only thing we didn't like was the bread. Not your usual Turkish bread more of a dry pizza bread.

Went for lunch with my husband. Excellent meal and service. The Kleftiko was succulent and the Mixed Shish Yogurtlu was superb. Also highly recommend the Sucuk and Hummus Kavurma which were excellent.
