Smiffy's in Highland

Very generous portions of fish, chips and haggis. Delicious food and a strong curry sauce, finished off with some lovely vanilla ice cream. P.s. Sorry about my 2 year old daughter shrieking- you guys were great with her!

First day of holiday so wanted something quick and easy, having read other reviews we thought Smiffys was the place to be. The party had haddock and chips while myself and sister had chicken fillet burger and chips. Meal Super Hot (even though we had to travel a little way back home), plenty of chips and the burger was simply 👌🏼. Juicy, crispy and full of flavour. To make this raring a 5⭐️ is maybe look at adding a slice of tomato or a few strands of onion. Other than that highly recommend

We stopped at Smiffys twice with our kids whilst staying in Aviemore. My daughter has coeliac disease meaning trying to find somewhere she can safely eat can be tricky but the staff at Smiffys were very knowledgable and were able to tell us straight away what she could have with her chips - that are always gluten free. It always puts our minds at ease when the staff are clued up on what’s required whilst eating out with coeliac disease and Smiffys did just that.

We stopped in Aviemore for lunch with our tour group after visiting the Culloden Battlefield. It was a little rainy and cool, so we ate lunch there since they had a very nice indoor seating area. We ordered the fish and chips and chicken nuggets. The food came quickly and was good.

We came across this Fish & Chip takeaway on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon and it was the only one open at 3.30pm. However the quality of the food was excellent at a good price and will definitely visit again even when other places are open. Excellent value for money

Phoned in an order for us to collect. It was ready when we arrived and piping hot. Quality was excellent. Service superb. An item was forgotten but as soon as they realised they called us and we were able to go back and they ran out to the car with it. Recommend this chippy in every way.

I was in Scotland for a week's holiday with friends. We were looking for somewhere to eat. This place looked lovely clean and tidy. Unfortunately they overcooked the food. Perhaps because the staff were grouped gossiping and not concentrating on the job

Fantastic chippy, it was clean and the food is made fresh in front of you. There was a good variety of things to choose from on the menu, and at a very reasonable price. We chose to sit in at the small sitting area. Staff were all cheery and friendly. Would defo recommend paying a visit when in Aviemore!

Lovely fish & chips. Lots of options including 'light bites' which actually seemed like a full meal so good value for money. Very busy so expect to que to order. Very well organised though & would definitely recommend.

Great fresh fish and chips. High quality fish and chips with lovely crispy batter. We had a takeaway and drove 20 minutes back to our holiday cottage and the food was still fresh and crispy. Efficient and friendly service for freshly made fish and chips.

Got a take away and the ordering and queuing system works really well. The food was nice, didn't have to wait too long considering it was very busy. Didn't give napkins for a take away order which is a big downside.

I ordered a beer battered fish and chips which cost $15.53. This included a $3 tip. The meal was so large. I shared it with my wife and still had some chips left over. Cook perfectly crispy, not greasy, and hot. Awesome food.
