I came in for a lovely oat flat white and was not disappointed. My stunning barista (wore a yellow beanie) was so welcoming and brightened up my busy work day- and made a delicious coffee! Fabulous music and chilled atmosphere, I loved my trip to small batch. Recommend!

No laptop policy - what?! Small batch has been one of my favourite places. But the new management decided not to allow laptop use until 2pm. The most absurd thing I have heard. I’m not going again, there are many good coffee shops in brighton&hove. Their loss!

Excellent coffee and this is where they roast the beans, which I have been buying from here since they opened this branch. Staff are always friendly and welcoming there’s a few sarnies, pastries and cakes on offer which are very tasty but it’s the coffee that brings me back. Be warned, once you try one of their coffee’s you will wonder why you give your hard earned money to the big coffee chains. There is some outside seating, doggies are welcome, there is a couple of parking spots but you’re better off cycling down or grabbing the coffee and snacks whilst your getaway driver looks out for the traffic wardens!

This morning I decided to treat myself to a latte and a croissant before work. Never again! After 10mins of queuing outside in a very small 5 man queue and 2 of them walking away due to the speed of the barista I finally had my order taken. After then spending a few more minutes talking to a customers and taking orders I made a gesture of looking at my watch to the man behind the desk. I was trying to indicate most of us are on are way to work and haven’t got 20mins to waste in a coffee queue. It was getting to the point where I’d of had to leave without receiving my coffee. What I finally got handed was not worth £6.20. A tepid cup of milk and a pain au chocolat really set my day off well! Do not waste your money on a very average experience, a long queue and a disappointing latte that I in turn, had to throw away.

Consistently amazing coffee and friendly staff. Despite being very popular you never have to wait long for your coffee either!

I have loved Small Batch since the beginning and have been coming back recently as the food is great again and the coffee is second to none. I've been dropping in to this warehouse branch at various times during the work day, but have started to think twice as there is always a crazy delay. The staff are lovely and helpful, but run off their feet so it ruins the service - I'm reviewing in the hope you fix the problem!

I am very picky and choosy when it comes to coffee. I visited Brighton for 3 days and I had my coffee every morning at this coffee shop. It is small, cosy and the coffee is very tasty, exactly what I needed to start the day. They have tables indoor and a small terrace in from of the shop. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, will definitely visit again.

Liked the coffee and layout of the place but food and drinks both are overpriced! I would definitely recommend to go try.

Good independent coffee shop. Staff know their coffee and brews. I went for the syphon. Great cup, well served.

First time I have used the small batch coffee roasters & thought the coffee was good but for the size cup expensive at the espresso bar in Portslade. The food looked fresh but I think £2.75 for an almond croissant is very overpriced. There is a small seating area but because of how you access the building it is very cold & windy as large doors are left open and it's right on the seafront. Staff were polite and efficient. Does offer a reward stamp card but not sure if I will fill it due to the cost and only one size cup available which is very small compared to other coffee chains

We wanted a drink before going for dinner and spotted this sunny terrace overlooking the sea, it did the job with a decent glass of wine.

Went to Brighton for a day out and had a great time at High Tide, We were a family group of 10 adults & children having food and drinks. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. We had a range of food - starters, fish & chips, burgers & chips. The food was nice and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would definitely recommend trying and would visit again. Thanks again, High Tide...

. ? Agua no lo suficientemente caliente . ? No lo sabemos . .

I hate to say this, but this must’ve been the worst ever experience I’ve had of having hot drinks and a slice of cake while eating out. I ordered a tiramisu hot chocolate and a latte coffee. Both of them should’ve been served in a mug, but were in cups, the drinks were tepid and the taste was very disappointing. The caramel chocolate cake was mediocre, far from what I would’ve expected in a high-end cafe. It was also like sitting in a refrigerator. When I picked up my spoon to stir the drink, the spoon felt ice cold as did we. The staffing levels were very poor, the young man that served us also ended up cleaning tables and taking away items to be washed up. While we were having our drink, he proceeded to put chairs on tables that were immediately behind us. This felt as though we were not welcome. I’m very disappointed in Waitrose, I was expecting way better than this! I don’t feel ever inclined to want to return to this place ever again!
