Slug & Lettuce, Leeds, Boar Lane in Leeds

No fue la mejor experiencia de un Slug... lo cual es una pena porque somos grandes fans. Sentimos que éramos un estorbo para la camarera. Era un domingo tranquilo por la noche, éramos los únicos dos parados en el bar esperando ser servidos. Mi amiga pidió Watermelon Coolers pero se decepcionó cuando no recibió sus dulces de sandía - menores pero aún así son las pequeñas cosas : (, lo empeoró saber que podíamos ver un frasco lleno de ellos en la parte trasera de la barra. Pedí tés helados de Long Island que eran increíbles, excepto perderse las cerezas - de nuevo nada importante, pero esos pequeños detalles cuando los consigues en todas partes.

¡Qué jodido desastre! Vine aquí para un brunch sin fondo hace un año y di una crítica brillante. ¡Cuánto te has deteriorado! ¡¡Y os habéis defraudado!! no podía esperar a una experiencia encantadora de nuevo pero no... no iba a ser. Subí las escaleras, el ambiente era brillante, buena música y ambiente. . . . oh tu te sentaste abajo en la zona del bar. . OK. Estaba sentado en una esquina junto al bar y la cabina de fotos. ¿Sólo un menú en la mesa fue dicho así al servidor, ¿podemos tener un par de menús por favor? ... Tengo que cuidar estas mesas, tendrás que preguntarle al bar... ¿quién nos cuida entonces? Dije que estaban en un brunch sin fondo . . oh OK, solo compruebe . . sí, lo estás, ¿qué quieres beber? Ahora he estado en bastantes de estos brunchs sin fondo y el servidor siempre se presenta antes de preguntar qué queremos .. ya sabes para construir un poco de un rapor pero no estaba sucediendo. Así que nos trajo nuestras bebidas y nos dimos cuenta de que solo estaba cuidando de unas 10 mesas. Así que dijimos cómo te llamas. No podemos creer que tu izquierda haga todo esto por tu cuenta. Se llamaba Summer y debo decir que era muy buena cuidando de nosotros. Mi amigo pidió una maldita maría. . oh no tenemos zumo de tomate (acabo de leer una reseña de diciembre de 2024 y no tenían ninguno entonces) ¡¿cómo puede un bar del centro de la ciudad no tener zumo de tomate durante un mes ! ! Pedí un brindis con buratta. Hacía mucho frío. De todos modos le dimos una propina de £ 10 porque estaba muy ocupada. Ella dijo gracias, pero no adiós, gracias por venir, etc. En Banyan nos dio un consejo que nos agradeció por venir y viaje seguro a casa. Me sentí muy bienvenido, pero no aquí. Mucho frío. No es una buena experiencia. Entrena a tu personal. Mi primera experiencia 10 / 10. Esta experiencia 1/10 probablemente no volverá

Estaba absolutamente sorprendido de lo ocupado que estaba, éramos 15 de nosotros para un brunch sin fondo las mesas estaban mal emparejadas y de varias alturas. Estábamos en el ajetreo y el bullicio con los bebedores rodeando nuestra mesa, así que era difícil salir para el baño. Tardamos media hora en tomar nuestras primeras copas y te lo puedes creer no tenían zumo de tomate para una Mary sangrienta que estaba en el menú? Con sede en el centro de la ciudad, ¿no podrían comprar un lote en una de las muchas tiendas de alimentación? La comida era mediocre pero comestible y en nuestra franja de 2 horas apuesto a que teníamos 4 bebidas, el servicio espantoso con poco personal y por encima de la capacidad no recomendaría o volvería. No hay comparación con la babosa y la lechuga en Liverpool que podrían hacer con sacar una hoja de su libro para el servicio

Si pudiera dar 0 estrellas lo haría! Reservado para brunch sin fondo para despedida de soltera. Dos horas. Me senté en una mesa sucia después de 10 minutos de espera. Finalmente se limpió, entonces esperamos y esperamos a que alguien tomara bebidas y comida. Nos sentamos 40 minutos sin beber. Cuando usted está pagando £ 40 y solo tienen un intervalo de 2 horas esto es absolutamente inaceptable. Ninguno de los empleados parecía estar preocupado y ciertamente no disculparse. Después de quejarnos muchas veces nos fuimos. La futura novia estaba muy molesta y sentía que su noche se había echado a perder. Afortunadamente, otro establecimiento en el camino intervino y nos acomodó a última hora. . . . . que van a obtener una crítica de 5 estrellas para su servicio al cliente!

Absolutamente terrible! Fui a comer sin fondo el sábado a las 5 pm. Estaba temblando en el área de comida. Esperamos 5 minutos para nuestra mesa para 8 , y habíamos pagado £ 40 de depósito. Se supone que son 2 horas con comida y bebidas sin fondo. Cuando nos sentamos la mesa estaba sucia por la gente anterior y tuvimos que pedir que la limpiaran, lo que llevó otros 10 minutos. Luego esperamos siglos para pedir bebidas y ni siquiera pedimos nuestra comida. Después de 40 minutos (de nuestras 2 horas) no habíamos recibido una sola bebida, así que decidimos irnos. Le dijimos al personal que estábamos decepcionados y queríamos el depósito de vuelta. En este punto un camarero dijo que nos conseguiría algunos tragos y trajo una bandeja llena de tragos; ¡pero no las bebidas que habíamos pedido! Dijimos que no los queríamos e íbamos a irnos. Se disculpó de todo corazón y dijo que reembolsarían el depósito a finales de semana. Todo el mundo a nuestro alrededor que no estaba en el brunch sin fondo parecía estar siendo servido rápidamente, presumiblemente ya que estaban comprando bebidas caras. Slug and Lettuce no debe ofrecer brunch sin fondo si no quieren dar las bebidas a aquellos que han pagado por él - no es barato a £ 40 cada uno. Una noche muy decepcionante para nuestra amiga que había reservado esto para su noche de gallina. Nunca volvería. Si hubiera podido dar cero estrellas lo habría hecho.

Personal muy amable. Mi amigo y yo solo conseguimos el macarrones con queso con un lado de patatas fritas de sal y pimienta y nos encantó a la altura de nuestras expectativas. Muy recomendable.

La comida era terrible el pescado con patatas fritas fue el peor que he probado. El pequeño pez del tamaño de un bebé era masticable y sabía como si hubiera sido capturado hace 12 meses en el muelle de Blackpool. La masa era tan dura y gruesa que debería haber traído mi sierra de cadena conmigo para cortar a través de ella. Los cócteles comprendían 95 por ciento de hielo con una bebida débil muy pequeña. He visitado otros establecimientos de babosas y lechugas anteriormente y la comida y los cócteles eran mucho mejores que definitivamente no volveré a este.

El contraste entre este Slug & Lettuce y el de Park Row es asombroso. Recientemente visité el bar Park Row para un brunch sin fondo con la familia y el servicio de comida y flujo constante de bebidas fue excepcional tanto así que dejamos una gran propina para nuestro servidor para mostrar nuestra gratitud por el trabajo bien hecho. Así que recomendé que probáramos Boar Lane para mis primos 50 cumpleaños que decepción. Los servidores fueron muy lentos de principio a fin casi evitando la tabla. Pedimos prosecco una docena de veces, pero debe haber habido una escasez, ya que no llegó ni un vaso. Esperábamos tanto tiempo por una ronda de bebidas que terminé avergonzando a los servidores al limpiar la mesa yo mismo de vasos vacíos de la única bebida que obtuvimos para hacer un punto (habíamos pedido varias veces que alguien tomara nuestro pedido). La comida era simplemente horrible, pero no lo enviamos de vuelta, ya que habíamos esperado una edad para que llegara. Estaba demasiado frío y no era comestible. Una vez que nos habíamos movido de la mesa, sin embargo, el personal del bar estaba muy en su punto porque ahora estábamos pagando por nuestras bebidas. En resumen evita este bar si lo que buscas es celebrar con un brunch sin fondo @ £ 35 por cabeza no es ni de lejos una buena relación calidad-precio. Sus problemas no se resolverán, ya que intentamos varias veces plantear los nuestros. Muy decepcionado, ya que tenía grandes esperanzas después de nuestra visita a Park Row

My friends and I had a bottomless brunch here yesterday we had a great time most of the staff attentive special mention to summer. The drinks flowed and we ordered our food but I'm sorry to say the food was a big let down. Two ladies ordered a breakfast and had to send it back because it was cold how that happens I don't know if it's freshly fried🤔another of our party had to ask for another egg because hers was just a yolk🤔she also paid extra for bacon and got 1 slice curled up and cold the rest of us were disappointed as our food was tepid so come on slug your waiting staff are brilliant your kitchen staff not so

My friends and I came to the Flamingo Bingo evening which was free to join and runs the second to last Thursday of every month. On every table you get some flamingo glasses, Hawaiian flower necklaces, ring pops and microphones which was unexpected but fun! The bingo drawer was called Ben and he was very good at getting everyone hyped up and was a really polite man. There was only the one round which was a shame as we were just starting to get going by the time it ended. The prizes were good for us (shots, bottle of prosecco and cocktails) but I feel the extras on the table could have been better used as 'prizes' for the bingo thus allowing them to play more games. Overall, we had a great time and a fun start to a night out.

From the moment we arrived we were looked after by our brilliant and friendly host Callum who made our experience all that much special, we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The service from summer was second to non. Service was fast. I was never without a drink.will be back again soon for another brunch.

Disappointing. My girlfriends had booked me a table here for my Hen Do in Leeds. There was 0 atmosphere. It was quite dark on the table considering it was daylight outside. The table we were sat on, was pretty much next to the bar, when we arrived there were used tissues under the table and it looked really grotty. We ordered our food on the app and got our drinks from the bar. The drinks were okay and what was expected of a chain eatery. The food came and it was cold. Everything was cold, which was disappointing considering there was only 5 of us and we waited almost 40 minutes for it. We sent it all back and they brought it out again. I missed the apology, if there was one. We also had to ask 3 times for there to be fresh toilet in the ladies toilet, eventually, a member of the public was asked if she could bring in toilet roll to the toilets because there wasn't anyone available to do it. For a place with very few customers in, there was little attentiveness by the staff. I just felt it was a bit of a let down for my Hen Do. We didn't even take one picture. Just really disappointing for such a special occasion.

Came for a bottomless brunch on Good Friday. Summer was amazing and if not for her we would have walked out. On arriving there was no one to tell we’d arrived for our table, we asked one of the servers, who told us to tell bar staff, once finally got to the bar and told someone they told us to go tell one of their servers! Think this needs a better system, we go to the Sheffield one regular and never encounter these problems, anyways after sitting down, we waited for 30 mins before pulling Summer over to explain we hadn’t been seen yet and half an hr had already gone by, this girl was running the tables practically by herself and was rushed off her feet, but she went above and beyond for us, made sure we were regularly served drinks, our food and honered 30 mins for us at the end to make up for terrible start, not her fault by any means. She totally turned our experience from a negative one into a positive one so thank you Summer

We booked the bottomless brunch for a group of 8, on St Patrick’s day for a birthday celebration. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we were not disappointed by the amazing service we had by the staff. They looked after us like we were the only people in the bar, drinks orders came every ten minutes and after placing our first order they just checked on the drink selection when delivering each round and it magically arrived. Food selection for the brunch was really good, great choices that covered everyone in our group. Brilliant atmosphere and hospitality from Summer, who looked after us for 3 hours. Will absolutely be back next time we’re in Leeds.

The mamma Mia brunch consists of 2 sountrack songs every half hour which is so loud you end up screaming across the table at each other, and.......a flowery headband. Food was mediocre at best, burger rolls were tough and chewy, chips bland and tasteless. It took around an hour to clear all the plates, we had to ask for cutlery because apparently we are all deemed cavemen and they do not come as standard, and when we requested some mayonnaise for a table of 9 we got 1 tiny ramakin. When we did get drink orders in they took about 20 minutes to arrive each time though other smaller tables around us were getting drinks constantly, the table next to us were told off for having too many drinks... it'sbottomless. I'd argue that the cocktails have almost no alcohol in and when we did get staff attention to order more you could feel the daggers from them - how dare you ask for what you have paid for. If you dare order a mimosa rather than getting a mimosa you get a jug of orange juice to add to the tables prosecco so you aren't in effect getting a drink. We got table prosecco then on the rare occasions we were able to order drinks the waiter (guy in purple tartan trousers) told us to give the prosecco to the mimosa drinkers One of our party who has two children commented about her fruit juice high even though she drank alcohol the entire time and to quote my husband as we walk now to the bus "I could work a forklift right now" that's how sober we are. I'll be open and say I've posted this on multiple sites as well as sending to slug and lettuce directly. This is how strongly i feel about this abysmal place.

We only went in for a drink and we signed up to one of there offers so we all got a free drink ,alcoholic of course . The staff were extremely friendly and helped us all to sign up . Great experience
