una gran elección, al igual que los viernes de TGI, hubo ofertas con descuentos en varias ocasiones, un gran ambiente y un ambiente informal agradable al lugar.

Staff very friendly, very clean areas and quite a welcome surprise to find a pub within the hotel. Food served very quickly and very reasonably priced. The drinks are quite pricey but your not in a pub.....your in a hotel. Huge tv dedicated to sport.

Buen restaurante.

Bar meal and a pint deal was on so we chose a burger and chips and it was fine just as we wanted and service was good from very pleasant young staff. Plenty of TV screens to watch in nice surroundings.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the fantastic staff in the Victory Pub for their excellent customer service, delicious food & friendly atmosphere. We visited last Friday had great cheesy chips, pizza flat bread, club sandwich & took advantage of the £1 tasty burgers.

Decent atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. The food looked good when it arrived but the fish was greasy and the chips had clearly been made some time ago and just kept under a heat lamp. Disappointing

Friendly staff, good service, reasonable prices. We dined when the hotel restaurant was closed for a private function and despite the football being on it was not overly intrusive. Would be happy to eat here again.

Great pub food. Good atmosphere. It is a sports bar but offered entertainment in the form of a music quiz on a Friday night. Very handy when staying in the hotel.

During our stay in the hotel, we popped in here for a drink before and after dinner in the hotel. The seating was well laid out, allowing for intimate tables for couples to relax and chat, or for those wanting to watch the sport, enough room to sit back and watch. With a good selection of drinks, the bar also offered a selection of snacks and meals for those wanting a more informal meal. The bar also had seating outside and while it was far too cold to use, would be lovely in the summer!

Good choice of beers & fare range of food on the menu, took advantage of the red card offer advertised on the wall.

Not good at all, supposedly black and blue burger which should come on a toasted bun- arrived stone cold bun and luke warm fries, I had chicken flatbread- would have like more chicken to go with the mountains of BBQ sauce. The chicken tenders starter was good tho. Not an experience we will repeat. Much better meal down the road at The Harvester.

Food was very nice and reasonably priced, good service and friendly staff. Drinks very expensive unless your a local and a gym member then you get special drink offers, guess locals are more important than the guests.

Ate here with my girlfriend as part of a spa deal and we were extremely disappointed with the food and service. We had BBQ ribs that were tough and dry like they'd been cooked twice and they only came with a small pot of coleslaw.. a few chips might have been nice. Because of a mix up, we had our leek and potato soup after the ribs. Unfortunately, the soup was ridiculously over-seasoned, so we gave up and left.(The spa itself was great, just avoid this pub!)

My self and my partner live within walking distance of the Village Leeds, North and have recently joined the hotel gym.On Saturday (04/08/12) after going to the gym, we invited a friend to lunch at the Victory Bar.We ordered a Ceasre Salad (£9.95), Ploughman's (£7.95) and a Tuna Melt Club Sandwich and drinks. We were very disappointed at the quality and portion control of the food that we were served, given we eat out regularly in the vicinity. The salad portion was appallingly small and excessively covered in dressing. The Ploughman's looked as if the ploughman had forgot half of his lunch and the tuna melt laughable! In the latter the the sandwich consisted on 3 pieces of ready sliced cheap brown bread, not a quality wholemeal with one of the filling pockets being filled with three slices of red onion! (Bizarre)We did complain about this to a member of staff, who dealt with the issue in a calm and polite manner, conceding that they have had a lot of similar complaints. The rationale for the poor standards and quantity was the Pub & Grill have specs provided for the food from head office and the chef, (I use this term loosely), cannot deviate from that. The 'chef' appeared to be a teenager doing a saturday job!I feel you have an excellent venue in Leeds North, it is however evident you feel you do not have to offer any sort of quality of product nor quantity. It is sad given as noted that we live within walking distance of the Victory Pub, that we certainly would not consider visiting it ever again. Having visited a number of eateries in the vicinity , it's clear you are operating in a vacuum and taking your customers for granted. Moreover, you are totally behind the curve with respect to the quality and competitiveness of the food that you offer. In short, on paper you have what looks like a good menu, however in our experience are unable to deliver any sort of desirable eating experience.I am just disappointed that we didn't refuse to pay for our meal.

I took a walk to the bakery to see if they supplied fresh bread. I checked the opening hours and when I arrived it was closed. Wasted journey. Looks a nice place from the outside though.

We’ve just been to the art gallery café for lunch we won’t be going back. They sell scones but they’ve run out of jam What kind of business can’t even organise going to the shop and getting a pot of jam. Leeds city council should be ashamed of themselves.

A large, airy and light-filled pub (for a change) with plenty of outside seating near the City Museum- a short hop from culture to chaos! The young workers were efficient, very hard-working and helpful. What is distinctive about this place (and its saving-grace) is that it has a sufficient number of students to keep the place on an ‘even keel’ (for example, talk of Trump’s superior IQ is, mercifully, rare). TOP TIPS: (1) choose outside or gallery seating for a relatively blissful experience ; (2) in general, choose a Spoons having a reasonably high proportion of students (albeit with a modicum of immaturity and ‘lively’ behaviour). In this way, relative sanity and intellect may well prevail.
