I booked my Mum a 60th birthday package here the Friday evening just gone. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The table was set up when I arrived. Cocktails were amazing. Both managers really went out of their way to make sure it was special. The food was nice too. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of being served by Magda during a bottomless brunch, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Magda’s friendly and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. She was attentive without being overwhelming, making sure our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. The brunch itself was absolutely delicious, and Magda’s service only added to the enjoyment of the meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some fantastic options. Her energy and enthusiasm truly made the experience unforgettable. I’ll definitely be back for another round of bottomless brunch, and I hope Magda is there to make it just as amazing!

Very nice staff, delicious food

Sadly not the best experience. Food average, nice cocktails, but poor and slow service. Restaurant had max 5 tables in (Sunday around 3-4pm), we waited for our food 45 minutes. All dishes came together despite ordering nachos as a starter. Waitress forgot condiments, had to go to bar to ask again.

luke (aka ben) is great, amazing service. we did bottomless brunch and he never let us go with out a drink. very on it

ordered food with friends. took over 30 mins for one of their burgers to arrive which tasted like a regurgitated flip flop. by 45 mins, my fish finger sandwich was yet to be seen and couldn't find a member of staff who was free to speak to so left. clearly couldn't handle the volume of people in there. will avoid on my next trip to Richmond.

Pub really needs to think about having 2 queues when busy, one for food ordering and one for drinks only. Walked in there yesterday for some nice cold drinks and there's one huge queue where people are ordering food too,. Slowed movement of customers down. We had to walk back out without drinks.

Edit 2025: Just had the best time here. New staff, new tables and new cocktails. Quinn served us and was great! Friendly, helpful and funny. ------------------------------------------ If you just want a drink by the river, this place can provide you with exactly that. However, if you want a nice drink, with clean tables and polite bar staff, you should probably keep walking, after all, the riverside has no shortage of pub's and bars. Ask for a class Sauvignon Blanc and you'll be presented with the option of Jacobs Creek or some other mumbled, unrecognisable plonk. Dare to question if perhaps they have a New Zealand or Australian variety and prepare to be summarily dismissed as some kind of lunatic. After all, what's wrong with a Jacobs Creek at £8 a glass?

Only one member of staff serving, it wasn't a problem for us - but felt for her. Food average. Lovely location.. they don't open until 12pm on a Sunday which seemed a shame as very very busy location!

Food plain, cheap and boring. Drinks slow to be served, although in a large group. Staff eating at front of house whilst we were waiting to be served, probably been working all day and understaffed so it was probably the only chance to eat. Atmosphere was fun, and the service was as good as possible considering the staffing. Would recommend

Food very average - Mac and cheese looked more like cheese coloured water and pasta. We paid for bottomless and got THREE drinks despite asking until we got told we had ten minutes left and they’d give us 2 drinks - not bottomless at all. It was almost empty so not sure why service was so slow. Free bottle of champagne to compensate but overall a bit disappointing. My friends birthday as well and we are students so this was a ‘big spend’ on a disappointing experience. Atmosphere 5/5 because me and my friends were there.

We went for bottomless brunch earlier in the month and were served by Drishti and Luke, they were absolutely fantastic and made us feel really doted on. Great service from them and would definitely visit more in future

What a fabulous experience at Slug and Lettuce, Richmond. This place never disappoints! We met this very cheerful bartender, Luke, who very enthusiastically recommended and mixed the drink perfectly suited for my palate. It was a good evening with some well-curated drinks. Thanks Luke for some of the best cocktails I've had in a long time!

What a great experience!!!!!! From the outside it looks like a normal pub, but inside is really fun and cute. We had lunch and drinks here. My partner had a chicken burger and he said it was one of the best he has ever had. So for that we would thank Chef Noah. My nachos were also great. The staff were really friendly and our waitress Nicoleta was particularly amazing. The drinks are 2-4-1 cocktails and come in really cool mugs. The prices are really good, the food quality is really good and would 100% recommend this to everyone!!!!!

Luke did a hreat job for us, ensuring our breakfast order was taken correctly and checking it was good quality. We had great seats by the window with the lovely river view. The food was a very reasonable price, especially considering the location. Very good!

Food ok , but slow getting food to your table from the hot plate ,our food sat on the hot plate for 5 minutes before a member of staff brought it to our table . Not good ENOUGH.

We had a blast here, the food was great, the atmosphere was good and the service was excellent. We had a great waitress that was full of jokes, friendly and there every time we wanted something.

Terrible service and undercooked food. We got there at 1:30pm. Tried ordering from the app but it wasn’t working. Asked the waitress if we could order and she said she would be right with us. 45 mins later still didn’t come to take our order. Asked again and she said sorry but came 10 mins later. We then had to wait another 45 mins for our food. The pub was pretty much empty at this point, so I don’t know what the excuse was for such a long wait. We asked the staff when we will be served no apology jus dismissive. At this point we had been waiting over 1hr and 45 mins. The chicken was very salty. The pasta was hard, not edible. They then put the TV next to us, so loudly we actually couldn't even have a conversation. We were all really disappointed with the experience and very disappointed we have to pay £90 for sub par food. Won’t be returning.

An absolute tip, dirty & filthy tables, even the menu had food stains all over it that had never been cleaned. The music is terrible, service is crap, the woman in charge is clueless & shouldn’t be in the industry, avoid like the plague.

I had an outstanding experience at Slug and Lettuce, and I have to give a special shoutout to Billy, the bartender. His cocktail-making skills were on point – each drink was not only beautifully presented but also packed with flavour. You could tell he really knows his craft, and his friendly demeanour made the evening even better. The food was just as impressive. The chef clearly puts a lot of care and attention into every dish. We tried the smothered chicken, which was unbelievably tender, and the steak – wow! Cooked exactly to my liking, it was juicy, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was a treat. The atmosphere in the venue was another highlight. It was clean and comfortable, and the music created the perfect vibe – not too loud, but just enough to enhance the overall experience. All in all, this place is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back!

Booked a table online with the words in the special request box- Wheelchair User. Received a generic email accepting our booking. On arrival there was no wheelchair access and no disabled toilets. Pointless writing any special requests when they are obviously not met. You could have for eg s nut allergy and potentially die. Will not return. Negligent owners.

As soon as I walked into the slug and lettuce, I was greeted by a very friendly phrase which I then ordered my drink to which I couldn’t decide as I’m quite a particular person this waiter then went onto accommodate to my needs I would like to mention this waiter, his name is Freddy and he was absolutely wonderful.
