Slim Chickens never disappoints! Their chicken tenders are hands down some of the best I’ve had—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The chicken succulent, bit pricey but worth it.

I ordered online and it was the worst service!!!! Food was cold and was very late. Ordered 12 wings with 6 dips, but then got a call back and said they were out of wings, so I asked for tenders instead and only got 3 tenders, which was not even warm and didn’t even get the dips. I PAID FOR 12 WINGS AND 6 DIPS AND NOTHING WAS IN THE BAG. Ordered buffalo sandwich and got barbecue sandwich instead. The fries were cold and couldn’t eat them. Such a disappointment from this restaurant. Would recommend to either go for eat in or take away when it is not busy. It’s not acceptable to give 3 tenders instead of 12 wings i paid for. At least put more or good staff on busy days like Saturday!!!! Worst service

We waited 43 minutes for our food last night. I understand at 6:45pm on a Saturday you will have to wait a little longer. But for a fast food restaurant nearly 45 minutes is unacceptable. We were given no information about this wait when we ordered. The girl who took our order was nice but we could barely hear anything she was saying when asking about the sizes of fries and sauces. The syrup for the Coke Zero was gone so it was pretty much just flavoured water. We could see the window where the food was coming out and it was so slow. There were about 2 meals coming out every 5-10 minutes. Everyone around us was also waiting 40 minutes ( we overheard a conversation between another customer and server). We went up to ask how much longer the wait would be after just under 40 minutes because we weren’t expecting to spend an hour in a fast food restaurant and were late to meet some friends. Thankfully ours was the next order coming out and the server gave us extra chips to try and make up for it. What was really disappointing is no one informed us of this wait. Clearly there was some issue in the kitchen and not a manager to be seen. I felt bad for the servers, it obviously wasn’t their fault as they’re not the ones making the food, but the communication between staff and customers was definitely lacking. If we had known we’d be there as long as we were we would’ve gone somewhere else. The food was really good when it finally came, it was the only saving grace of the trip. We’ve been before quite a few time and it is normally slower than other fast food places, in our experience we’ve waited anywhere between 7-15 minutes but we were fine waiting the extra 5-10 minutes it would typically take because the food is worth it. But it’s definitely not worth 45 minutes.

Closing half of the restaurant more than an hour early while the restaurant is so busy. I feel like the management have no brain cells.

Stopped in for a bite to eat. Food was as usual when you visit a slim chickens, milkshakes are exceptional. This part of Nottingham seemed really quiet for a Wednesday evening, although it meant the restaurant was quiet and i got served quickly.

Visit this franchise infrequently. The chicken is great and I personally love the slims salad. I unfortunately have to order at the till to ensure my meal comes without cheese, staff are always happy to help. There is one staff member who has consistently stood out, unfortunately I cannot remember her name. Description; women, white, blonde hair, accent which I cannot place. This lady is always friendly, smiling and happy to serve everyone- your service does not go unnoticed :)

delivery was fine, wings were nice, burger wasnt as strong a la other burgers I've had delivered, but the selection of sources did make up for that and it was a tasty meal

Ordered a delivery from Slims this evening and everything about it was shocking. The chips were cold and over cooked, dry on the inside, I was left looking for the potato in the chips. The chicken in the burger was also over cooked and dry! Rate this place zero! First time I’ve been and won’t be going back.

Been coming to this Slims since it opened. Lovely wings and tenders, hot chips and garlic bread. Recently tried their gravy it’s a GAME CHANGER! If you love Gravy this is rich and meaty gravy nice and thick full of flavour. Gravy gets a 9/10 dipped my chicken my chips in changes the game! Would definitely recommend!

A perfectly good place for a chicken sandwich and chips for lunch. A bit pricey for what you get, but it was tasty and filling.

Visited on a sat night around 11.10pm, restaurant quiet, so served quickly buy had to wait 15 mins for food to be ready. Ordered chicken tenders and wings. It's is expensive here but thought I would give it a go after reading the good reviews. Chicken was crispy and hot, but the meat totally lacked any flavour and tasted so bland, so wouldn't rush back.

Despite it being quite expensive, it all adds up in the end! The ranch is something new for me as a brit, and I'm so surprised that Americans have access to such a sauce. In my opinion, the slim sauce was a little too tangy, but that's by preference. Everything was amazingly seasoned and the wings had amazing crunch. If you are trying to find a replica "Raising Cane's", then come to Slim Chickens! I am so satisfied by the fact the restaurant even exists.

There’s always minimal staff but boy do they deliver! LOVE the chicken though it’s a bit expensive. There’s always a big portion so it fills you up and the sauce selection is excellent

I wouldn't recommend ordering delivery from here. Compared to the chicken on the photos from the other reviews it seems you get the worst of the batch, small pieces with no seasoning . They always forget the toast too. Not worth the price at all. This has happened multiple times so I won't be ordering again.

What a great meal! Food served was fresh and piping hot delivered promptly by Lala, whose humour and attitude made the whole visit worthwhile. Will definitely be back next time we are in Nottingham. Cannot fault our visit.

Have visited Slim Chickens in Nottingham a few times. As in City Centre, access and parking can be a bit pricey. However, atmosphere and service from staff has always been great - clean restaurant, lots of varied and comfortable seating and friendly, polite staff. I like the offers on the Slim Chicks app. Chicken and fries has always been really quality, tasty food. Really like the selection of sauces they have too. Really recommend the Ranch and Mango Habanero sauces! Will continue to visit on occasion when in the City Centre

Food was below par to say the least, chicken tenders were dry, very chewy and tasteless. The toast was just warm bread. Chips were nice. Unfortunately I can't recommend this to anyone.

I went to many places but I never met that kind of rude person like in your place. She’s about 1.5m high wearing a glasses and black top. She was rude not helpful to us with the order. She’s been pulling faces at my partner because he asked for mild chicken burger instead of buffalo sauce her attitude wasn’t nice at all !! She can’t deal with the customers and also it was our first time and I won’t recommend this place because of the rude staff and we won’t be back here . Please consider my complaint as it’s not good for the company having such a rude staff ! My partner had his burger but I didn’t order anything !

The food itself was fantastic; the crispy chicken was cooked to perfection and the sides were mouthwateringly good. The cozy atmosphere and Boobal's warm hospitality truly elevated my dining experience. I'll definitely be returning to Slim Chickens, and I hope to be greeted by Boobal's welcoming presence again!
