Boo in Nottingham

Chips were soggy and portion size was tiny and not accurate to photo/advertisement.

went to collect at 6:10 but had to wait an additional 25 mins. By the time i received the food, it was cold and my shake was melted.

chips were cold and the chicken didn't seem cooked properly

Burgers were excellent. The Rustic fries with Nacho cheese were disappointing. Delivery time was great

Slow service. We waited almost 30 min for our order and place was not even busy. The food flavour is ok (a bit too oily)but portions not good for big guys. I order an 8oz

Chicken mayo had no mayo on , chicken overdone. It was ok.

There was only 2 costumers inside but we had to wait almost 1 hour for our food (2 burguer meals) and thats because they were doing only delivery orders during all this time (I counted at least 10) one by one and they didn't start to make our food. After 50 minutes, there was no more delivery drivers coming inside and they finally decided to make our food. I've ordered the meal with a free refil but there was only water in the machine. All the tables and the floor are dirty, the rubbish from the couple who left 1 hour ago are still in the table and theres rubish in most of the tables as well. To be fair, their burguer is good, but I definitely don't recomend.

My son suggested Boo since he visits them every time he's in Nottingham with his friends. A quality fast food burger bar offering absolutely delicious chicken and beef burgers with a degree of customisation to meet our needs. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The only thing needed was some background music, but that's coming in 2025. Give them a try if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed. We'll definitely be back

Small patties which couldn’t fill you up for your pound. Way too much sauce turned my burger into a soggy swamp. Service was non existent - the boy cleaning was the most respectful and still didn’t speak. Would never return.

The food portions where pathetically small, the burger only took about 2 bites to down and the fries where quite stale, the manager attempted to bribe me with free fries to give a good review, highly dont recommend.

Food was alright, portions were horrible. The fries packet wasn’t even full and the burger was same size as McDonald’s but triple the damn price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going to spend £30 and get 3 meals because that’s the equivalent to 1 meal here. Paid a lot, received little. Really says a lot about this place.

It has fast food vibes with the order screens but nothing about it was fast. Thought we'd pop in before cinema with 45 min window to order and eat but 30 min in with no food and lots of other customers ahead of us without food, we soon realised we'd be there a while longer. Staff looked overworked and clueless. Too busy focusing on uber eats orders, and starting at receipts trying to work out what to put on the burgers. We cancelled our order and requested a refund, which in fairness they were very apologetic and kind about, but just disappointed we didn't get to try the food.

Food and drink all over floor. 2 chefs only working so no one cleaning or tidying. 2 burgers took 45 minutes and were very average. All customers complaining. Disgrace of a restaurant. Don’t know how this place can survive in a tough F&B market.

Great burger place. Tasty burgers reasonably priced. Korean wings were lovely but my favourite thing was the ziggy chips dipped in the golden mayo! Liked that you could pre order to eat in ahead of time!

They water down the ketchup which is kinda gross but the chips and burgers are good.

Tiny very greasy burger. Very small portion of soggy chip. I couldn't find any ice for the refilled drinks. My meal was on the counter for ages, and two customers whose meals were finished after mine were called up before to collect before me. Wasn't that busy, but the staff looked confused. A few people had to go up to the counter to ask for things that were forgotten The decor of all wood and metal made the pace so noisy I couldn't hear what the staff were saying.

Boo was an amazing place to eat out for a relatively cheap price for how filling it is. The Classic Burger is amazing and is probably the best burger I've had for a while. However, the atmosphere could be a bit more vibrant and the music could a lot louder(can't remember if they had it) The only problem with the food was some of the fries were mixed together even though me and the person I went with has two different types. Overall would highly recommend

Found this little gem today. Very reasonably priced, good portion sizes on the meals. Cooked fresh and arrives hot.

How have I not discovered this place sooner? It's fantastic! I love the clean look of the restaurant and the black very sleek theme, upon entering I was greeted by a friendly guy (did not get his name but he had a hat on and was athletic) he helped me decide and pick out my food, I was with my family and he was very kind to my child, the food was delicious, it was hot and fresh, the sauces were creamy and full of flavour but WOW the burgers? They were really good. They were huge and the bun was perfectly toasted and the chips were fluffy, the soft drink refills are literally heaven! So many good choices and and I loved the options! I ordered wings and they were very meaty and I may keep using the word fresh but I eat at a lot of restaurants. This one has to be the best in in Nottingham. The wings are fresh clean and the sauces for the wings compliment them perfectly. They are child friendly and accommodating. This is the only place I will visiting to eat from now on. Please try it. You won't be disappointed.

Just stopped in for a quick burger, fries and milk shake. All three were delicious, best fries I've had for a long time. Place was very quiet. Food cooked fresh to order. Good selection of options. Would happily eat there again. Meal was about £13.

Didn't even realise that this place was Halal or even existed. But was so glad to have stumbled here on Friday evening. Such a good location within Trinity Square next to the Cornerhouse. The burger was so good, flavoursome and I felt very satisfied. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

I’ve dined at Boo since it was a Deliveroo kitchen in Lenton back in 2019. The fries are always on point and the variety of burgers is great. The newly opened restaurant has a nice design and self service, but it’s usually pretty empty.

Went here in a school trip instead of McDonalds with my friend, boo burger is a very good place, also Halal (which suited my friend and I's dietary requirements) This place also has a prayer room and a wudu station with complimentary prayer mats (If you don't have one already) very Muslim friendly!!! The food was made completely fresh from scratch, I ordered a 4oz OG burger, with rustic fries and refillable drinks, the food came with complimentary sauces (spicy mayo and burger sauce, which tasted amazing) The refillable drinks cups have a generous volume of drink capacity. I saw the food being made fresh over the ordering counter, fresh minced beef, The fries are lovely, being crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. The drinks portion is very generous. The sauces were a fine balance of taste. The meal did cost £12 however, but the quality and the drinks refill make a lot of it back up. I would also like to highlight the fact that this restaurant does indeed take both cash and card. The staff of this joint are very nice. Overall, I would of course come back here again. I would probably say this is the best burgers in Nottingham. The place is great and the selection of burgers they have is awesome. It is always nice to grab a quick bite from here.

The order was over an hour late, there was no way for me to contact the restaurant and the food was completely cold when it arrived. Very unprofessional. I bought food from outside by the time the food arrived. It was a total waste of time and money.

Food was great, but it took 35 minutes to make two burgers and two servings of fries. There was only one customer ahead of me, and one delivery picked up while I was there. The three staff seemed to be busy working, but who knows on what.

Food took 90mins. Ordered 3 burgers and 2 fries. Burgers were cold and the chicken very dry. Fries were inedible. Overcooked and like crisps. Won’t be ordering again.

Best cheeseburgers in town! Everything is fresh and yummy 😋 I usually go there and eat but yesterday I attended an Eid party which was sponsored by Boo. The kids absolutely loved the burgers, chips, and juice given by Boo. Generous owner and lovely manager. 10/10

We got sponsored by Al-Hudaa Nursery’s Eid Party. They sent 24 food packs for children’s lunch and children really enjoyed it. It gave party a new boost children were so excited to have they food box. Thank you Boo for special treat for the children. It’s very thoughtful.

Fast service , bit confusing as you enter where to order food. Menu behind till not that easy too see and self order seemed confusing to other customers that came in after us. Good product, good staff , just vague on what you want and how to order.

got smoky burger, rustic fries and peanut butter milkshake for £12.45. burgers are thin smash burger style. food was delicious, love the smoky beef rashers (think beef bacon) - never had/seen that before. and more places should do peanut butter milkshakes! its a winner for me. one minus was the place seemed to need more people keeping the place clean/tidy. there was stuff littered about and no pagers next to the order machine etc. wont let that affect the rating but hope they see this and take notes!

Great place to grab a burger in Nottingham. While we were there we both tried the Smoky Burger. I opted for mine with BBQ sauce and my gooooood it was amazing. Everything was made fresh. The spicy fries were great and I ordered a side a sticky wings as well. The staff there was super friendly which only added to our experience. This was possibly my favorite place to eat while I was in Nottingham. 5 stars all around!

Food was cold and delivery was late

I ordered via deliveroo, I was looking for something delicious as I have travelled up from Devon for a work meeting tomorrow and I was really hungry. I ordered the Boo for one XL with the OG which came with a side of buffalo bites. This is the best takeaway burger I have ever eaten, the way the patties are done make it super succulent and it was layered in a way that really maximised the flavour. It really tasted incredible, the chips were crispy and cooked to perfection and the buffalo chicken bites were also succulent with just the right amount of coating. The reviews did not lie, I hope you will be coming to my neck of the woods one day :) thank you so much very happy with my meal!

A few days back me and my friend went to Boo to try their burgers. We tried the classic og beef burger and hay stack beef burger. I'll recommend everyone to try the hay stack burger. It would have been great if the quantity of the French fries were more.

Really good burgers for a good price! Only downside is ordering off a touch screen and then having to eat with your hands, and there is no hand sanitizer or way to wash your hands in the bathroom and leave without touching anything so basically you are putting the fingers of everyone who has ordered at that screen in your mouth 🤮🤣

Best taste and bang for the buck burger I have had in my life. Those freshly made beef patty is just filled with beef juice that fills your month when your teeth crunch onto it.

Third time visiting in two weeks. A real game changer! Myself and the Mrs have were blown away by the whole experience. The staff are always smiling, welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere was lovely and I don’t think I have ever eaten in a cleaner place! The food… unbelievable. If you’re a lover of beef burgers, I can safely say you NEED to try the variety that they have, especially the ‘Big Boo’. Soo much flavour, it really packs a punch for your taste buds. Will definitely visit again and have recommended to friends and family. Keep up the good work and thank you 👍🏻

Ordered burgers and chips, one of the burgers we asked for no onions on it. Thanks to the open kitchen we saw that our burger was made with onions and before being packed up the employee dug around in it to remove the onions. 2 main issues: 1. Had we not seen this happen and me challenge the employee we would have been given that burger as if everything was fine. It’s clear this occurs regularly 2. This entire meal cost £32 which is absurd for this kind of amateur behaviour. After I challenged my order they re made the burger but the rest of the food was then cold. The staff here need better training.

First time came here to Boo Burger with my daughter. We ordered classic burgers. But when they arrived, they were nothing like ones in the menu. They buns were small n the meat were thin although the meat tasted nice. The chips had no salt on them and tasted bland. I couldnt find any salt available on the side counter.
