Selected the Hot Buffalo Sandwich Meal, which in the case was served cold courtesy of Deliveroo. The “sandwich” arrived wrapped in foil which ensured it was entirely soggy, the chips were literally room temperature. For circa 15 quid, who eats this stuff???? Deliveroo exactly met expectations (…awful…) and Slim Chicken doesn’t get a second chance.

A step up from the likes of Maccy D's but a bit more expensive. Food was decent enough, speedy enough but red hot when it came.

Following a recommendation I recently visited Slim Chickens for dinner & WOW I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food & staff. Slim’s is situated in the busy BH2 entertainment complex in Bournemouth. It’s a large airy restaurant with plenty of seating inside. There are also a few tables outside that give a nice view over Bournemouth gardens. They have a system to order food on a large screen. I’m not always too good with that so a lovely young lady at the counter took my order (I think her name was Mia) She was very helpful, explaining everything to me, including the bottomless soft drink machine. Food was served promptly to our table, again by the same lovely member of staff. Food is really good. Food piping hot. We had a wrap & a chicken burger meal. Plenty of food & all really delicious. Big 👍 to the team at Slim’s & sure I will visit again. Probably the best fast food type restaurant I’ve eaten in.

Fantastic food, excellent service amazing atmosphere. The chicken was so delicious and tender, perfectly cooked. The chips were perfectly coated with the seasoning. The condiment selection had a wide range of choice and which made it very difficult to pick just one. The re-fillable drinks was economically beneficial and the range was good.

Food was served quickly arrived hot, chicken was full of flavour and the chips are so tasty. Great to have a wide range of sauce available with your meal . Definitely my favourite chicken shop now, better then well known one that use to be finger licking *****

We were the only customers in and our food had taken almost 20 minutes. No one greeted us or even smiled. Whilst me and my partner were waiting, the staff were on their phones, shouting across the restaurant to eachother, talking really loudly and showing a manner of un professionalism. Both me and my partner in our jobs have to display customer service and we’re both appalled. Once our food was ready, it was dropped on the table, and the waitress didn’t even look at us and didn’t place the food infront of us, just on the other side of the table. After looking at our meals, our sauces were on the wrong orders. In addition, we ordered a 5 tender meal and only had been given 4. My partner walked up to complain to the large huddle of staff and they rectified the order. However there was no consideration or apology included. Terrible customer service and was honestly appalled. In addition, one of the machines needed to be changed of syrup because it was coming out with fizzy water, with 5 members of staff stood around on their phones doing nothing, this should be checked and customers should be taken cared off.

Slim chickens is truly becoming my favourite chicken chain restaurant. The taste of their chicken is addictive. One bite and it takes you right back to the last time you ate at one of their chains. My husband and I visited the Bournemouth branch this evening. We used our free 3 wings that we earnt and ordered a mix and match and a tenders meal for me. Plenty of ranch, Korean bbq and honey BBQ. Love that is comes with texas toast which is basically soft garlic bread toast which I love dipping in ranch. Ranch goes with everything. I imagine if I was hungry enough I could drink ranch it's so good. There is not enough ranch in the UK!!! The staff here are so helpful and friendly. I appreciate they work hard and it was late and they all are still smiling. Slim chickens actual chicken is wonderful. Tender and juicy. Never had a bad experience in a slim chickens unlike other chains... I would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming again. One more meal and we have a freebie meal owed to us. Woohoo

I would of given them no points. But site would not let me. Hardly anything on menu and what they did have tasted disgusting. Their so called signature dish chicken tenders were sickly in taste. Thank goodness they had dips. I hate throwing away food. Noisey background music and kitchen towels as serviettes. Go to KFC. Avoid these guys.

I did my first order on deliveroo with this takeaway the driver for some reason turned off and went into another road before coming to myself then phoned me hung up and I got a message telling me to ring them I rang them but there was no connection the rider turned up with the bag ripped open which she blamed on a can of drink the burger I had was okay the bun was a little bit soggy the chicken itself I ordered separately was quite nice but the worst thing for me was the fries and the onion rings especially the fries which were absolutely caked in salt now unless you ask for salt to be added to your order a takeaway shouldn't add unfortunately I ended up throwing this into the bin because it was just too much salt and I couldn't eat the products there was a generous discount on the first order with deliveroo which I appreciated so out of a £30 odd order I paid around 20

As a food critic, I am constantly searching for the perfect dish that can transcend beyond being just a mere meal and become a work of art. Sadly, my recent visit to Slim's Chicken in Bournemouth, UK did not offer such a revelation. The chicken burger and chips were decent enough, but nothing exceptional that would make it stand out in a sea of fast food options. However, there was one item on the menu that truly caught my attention and had me reconsidering my initial thoughts of the establishment. The fried pickles were a surprising delight that stole the show for me. The crispy coating provided a satisfying crunch that gave way to the tangy and slightly sour flavor of the pickle itself. It was a unique and unexpected addition to the meal that left a lasting impression on my palate. While the overall meal was no more than good, it was the fried pickles that truly elevated the experience. I commend Slim's Chicken for daring to add such a unique side dish to their menu and executing it perfectly. It just goes to show that even in the most humble of establishments, a simple and unexpected dish can surprise and delight.

We ordered the chicken tenders - Very fast service, the food was piping hot and delicious. Amazing customer service with welcoming staff. Will definitely return soon.

If you want chicken and chips at an average price then this will do. The food was not amazing, it was just so so. The portions are small and not the most exciting meal but it does the job for some quick food.

Usually come in and just get the tender meal but thought I would give one of the shakes a try. Jennifer recommended me the Biscoff shake, was unreal. 10/10 recommend 🤩!!

Avoid if you have dietary requirements, this store does not cater for allergens. I ordered a few items and requested no Mayo in the chicken sandwich due to an allergy, I made this crystal clear in the notes. However, the store went ahead and sent a chicken sandwich with Mayo in it. I called the store to complain and their response was we don’t look at the notes. Do you know how serious this is… my friend could have died if he ate that chicken sandwich. The store did not offer to make the item again correctly, nor did they offer a refund. Horrendous and irresponsible service! I also do not recommend Texas toast, it’s a partially toasted piece of bread (all floppy) dusted with a bit of olive oil and some herbs, revolting. Toast should be toasted!

Went to Slim Chickens after a day out. We fancied not cooking so went for something cheep and cheerful. Food had a good variety (although obviously chicken based). Nice quality to it when it arrived. I had a children's meal which was more than enough for me. Husband had chicken strippers which he said were better than other similar restaurants. Milkshake however absolutely had to be the highlight and a really reasonable price at £2 with a meal. Had the Biscoff one which was amazing but more like a pudding as quite filling. Staff were helpful and ordering was easily done with the electronic boards. Overall would return good value compared to other places around it and very nice quality to the food.

Food was fantastic and i enjoyed it alot. definitely will be coming back for seconds. The food was well cooked: extremely hot, good flavour. I am flabbergasted.

I wish we had come here sooner in our holiday as we went last minute to get my hungry nephew some brunch. The toilets are clean and the staff are really lovely and accommodating. It does good business in the evening.
