The best scone I have ever tasted! Lovely fresh produce, a very friendly and super efficient lady serving and the quality of everything we bought was outstanding. It was all so fresh. Highly recommend and the prices were reasonable.

The Pasty shop we travelled to Tintigal for next to the Castle entrance was rammed and had a massive queque as it has such good review's. So coming back out of the town we spotted his one with no queque. Alot of the Pasties were not available but plenty of traditional fresh out of the oven. Very friendly and chatty lady serving, very polite. The Pastie's were lovely. Pastry good and plenty of filling in with a sight peppery kick. The only reason ive marked 4 out of 5 is cause I though they are a tad pricey at £5 each. Out of this main street full of tourist's we have been paying as little as £3.50. We always try a different place for each pasty we have when in Cornwall so we probably won't go back but I would recommend the shop for the choice of food they have which all look's made on the premises.

This place makes their pasties by hand onsite and they are stunning. I had a lamb and mint one and it was fantastic. Fresh veg in it too and served nice and hot. Pastry was done to perfection and almost half the price of another establishment in the town, near the castle entrance. They have their own seating area right across the road to sit and enjoy - just beware of the seagulls. Would definitely recommend.

Had a few Pasties from this shop while staying in Tintagel, freshly cooked and delicious. The traditional Cornish Pasty was the best we have tasted, filling was perfect. Highly recommend.

Lovely cafe/deli shop. Member of staff that served us was so enthusiastic and friendly. Egg & Bacon pie was to die for and the size of the portion was fab versus cost! Would definitely eat there again (used the seating that is available opposite)

Slice is a take away pasty shop with small seating area directly over the road. As a family we had 4 pasties and a slice of home made quiche, food was excellent and the service fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend to everyone visiting Tintagel, this is value for money honest excellent food.

Slice serve a top quality straight from oven pasty. The traditional has proper steak with slices of potatoes and is not ruined by laces of pepper. Its a good takeaway with seating at the entrance to the car park opposite

The lady who sold us the homemade pasties said they were fabulous and she was right! Lots of different fillings and all packed with loads of meat and veg. Not over seasoned and hot. Would definitely visit again.

We stopped in to buy pasties for lunch. Be careful said the lady serving - they’re fresh out of the oven. She told us we could sit at the table over the road to eat our lunch. I have never eaten a fresher, more delicious pastie. Absolutely wonderful. Pastry was perfect, filling was rich and the meat was tender, succulent, and faultlessly seasoned. Proper job.

The very best pasties! Great, well-seasoned filling and wonderful light pastry. Just as they should be. Baked on the premises by friendly locals who actually know what they’re doing. Thank you!

Four grown-ups and a teenager visited for pasties on a hot July weekend. The Cornish pasties were absolutely outstanding: scrumptious pastry and generous filling with plenty of meat. My boyfriend deemed the cheese and onion pasty to be the best he’s ever had (he asks me to point out that he’s had a fair few cheese and onion pasties in his time…). The rest of the party had regular pasties; I went for the gluten-free option. Gluten-free pasties take 30min to bake but are well worth the wait: it was the single best gluten-free pasty I’ve ever tasted! The pastry is to die for: buttery and flakey, holds together well and is filled with wonderfully seasoned filling. Celiacs can ask for gluten-free pasties to be baked in a bag to avoid it touching the same oven surface as the non-gluten-free pasties; others can opt for the pasty to be cooked out of the bag, giving it a crispier finish but risking some cross-contamination. The shop also has a range of nicely-displayed traditional sweets in jars, plus some tasty home-made holiday treats (like cinder toffee, which was great). The staff were lovely: friendly, welcoming and well-informed.

Well worth a visit, scrumptious traditional Cornish pasties, defiantly the best in the village. Popped back a couple of times during our stay and even took some home for family. Staff were friendly & welcoming.

This was our third visit to The Smoking Goat and we again loved everything. Service by Holly and PJ was fabulous, nothing was a bother and we were well looked after! Huge vegan selection and I even got a dessert! Deep fried pickles are an absolute must and the portions are really big!!! Great atmosphere and food. Be back soon

Good value, great taste. We had the cappachino together with a hot chocolate served with a very friendly, chatty service. Made it all worthwhile.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.
