Slamburger in Leicester

Banging food! Excellent polite and well mannered staff. Halal !! And good prices… what more can I ask for?

Order a cheeseburger meal and loaded fries the cheeseburger meal should come with fries but mine didn’t

My order never arrived. Driver stole my food!!

I Asked in the order note for three burger sauce, and i didn't get any. We Had to eat them without sauce that didn't give them a good taste.

This order was 2 hours 15 minutes late after the initial estimated delivery time. Restaurant kept pushing back the delivery time to stop it flagging as late on the system. This is disgraceful sevice.

I ordered food for 8 pm didn't. Arrive untill a hour later my food was cold and I asked for plain they gave me a standard burger not happy at all

All 4 drinks for the meals missing

Just been to slamburger with my boyfriend and a friend. It was a little bit late and I've asked if they still serve food. They said yes but only takeaway and while we were deciding what to buy two of us wanted to go to the toilet. After one of us went they said that is only for customers and it was just a bad tone and a unfriendly attitude. Horrible experience to stop someone like this while they try to order food from your place. Not recommended.

This is my first time trying out a Slamburger in the Leicester City Centre. It was a ok to good experience, the vibe to the place seems pleasant and it has plenty of seating. There was a lot of young people dining here at this place, so I am assuming it's a favourite for the youth. I ordered the Chicken Fillet Tower burger, and explicitly told the cashier to give me two portions of 2x Chicken strips but he ended up giving me the one portion. 🙄 Anyway I didn’t mind because at the end of the day, this made me more eager to try out other eateries in the future when I visit the Leicester City Centre again. 😇 The other good thing I can say about this place is when you place your order, they give you a electronic notification device to let you know when your order is ready to collect.

Can I make a suggestion. Your food is great but could you say that the sauce you use has spices in it had classic loaded fries and they were spicy. But it don’t say in your menu.

very disappointing for the price. I even got 40% off and was still not happy with the quality of food, the burger patties they use while nice are as thin as a bit of cardboard. pancakes seemed store bought and repackaged. payed 21 quid for a burger meal with cheesy chips and side of mozzarella sticks. and pancakes.

Every time I order, there’s a mistake, and tonight was the last straw. I even called ahead to ask them to double-check my order, but they still sent only half of it. When I called to resolve the issue, I was told they couldn’t send the missing items only a refund is possible. We’re a family, and this left some of us eating while others watched. It completely ruined our evening. This will be the last time I order, and I strongly advise families to think twice before ordering from here.

Chicken fillet and Chicken Tower burgers were too spicy to eat. Would have been really enjoyable if they wasn't. Such a waste.

I asked for burger sauce you didn't give it

Hi, we have visited your establishment many times have had always enjoyed the food and service. We popped in yesterday and our son, who is a full time student wanted to treat us, and was told his student discount would only be applied to his meal and not the full order. He was made to feel very embarrassed. Your promotion states the student discount is applied to the order which is very misleading. My husband expressed his disatisfaction to the member of staff and asked to speak to the manager, who he has met on many occasions, and was told he was the manager! Has there been a change to management recently? Can you please ensure you make the rules of the application student discount clearer. This really dampened our experience and there was no burkhut in the food sadly. The place was very cold and so the food turned cold quickly too. Just wasn't meant to be.

I mean the place was rushed with students and I think they'd just opened so it was a little cold. The food if delicious and the staff are friendly. The doors can fully open for wheelchair and pushchair entry, great table layout to make it accessible too. Now let's get to the food ... It's flavourful without the kick of spice burning you! I would recommend their food. It's delicious, fresh and consistently good!

If you want a quick bite - Nothing special - Nothing overwhelming - Then not a bad place to go. Otherwise it's just okay.

Nice place to eat. Order came quickly. Went there mainly for the burgers and it didn't disappoint. Was very good. Toilet were very nice and clean too. Wish the served Barr.

Twice in the last 2 weeks I've waited in the queue for 5 minutes, only to get to the front and have someone else step in front of me like I'm invisible. Wasn't acknowledged by the staff or customers as queuing.

I liked the place. It was clean and service was quick but you should add something of your own. Like a burger sauce or a special burger. Everything was too standard. Nothing stood out .

Food was terrible, the burger was bland and the bun was so soggy, toast your buns! Season your patties! The loaded fries weren't that nice either, the sauce was too spicy and the fries tasted cheap, and are too thinnly cut.

Food was disappointing given the fact it wasn't overly busy, it was very messy and the meal was poorly presented (I'm not expecting fine dining but I am expecting due care and acceptable presentation with the meal)... Service was very poor, and I was polite with a 3* because there was no excuse given the lack of business at the time. The cleanliness was also poor for a halal chain, tables not wiped, toilets not acceptable, and the lack of respect shown by other diners with respect to blocking aisles and lack of control of children was another letdown. It's a manager or supervisors responsibility to keep customers in order and line, and it felt like thunderdome when it was never busy enough to warrant it as such.

I ordered the beef burger, which arrived lukewarm and lacked the flavors I expected. The meet was undercooked, making the dish unpleasant. My partner's burger was overly salty and greasy, to the point of being inedible. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit and hope the management addresses these issues to improve the quality of their offerings.

Below average burgers. Service was very good. Good play area for kids. But both my wife and I felt the burgers were overcooked and chewy.

Very Bad behavior with the costumers , The bol head one was shouting at our faces, he is really disrespectful which in appropriate he needs to show respect and value to any person coming to the restaurant. Furthermore, because of the way of behaving i don't recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

Food was lovely. Was upset that the offer said 40% off if I spend 25. I spent more but was given 30% off. So the site was misleading but that’s no error of the restaurant. Other than that being upsetting , the food was lovely

Very amazing, the food taste was very nice and the milkshakes were delicious! Toilets were clean and tables too. Customer service was very good. Food for the price was very worth it.

I went to collect this order as they didn’t offer delivery to the place I was I ordered 12 burgers 7x chicken nuggets and 3 popcorn chicken. When I got there to pick it up the brother that was there said you can check it brother everything is in there. So dumb of me I trusted that. When we got home there was only 7 burgers in the bags. 4 cheese burgers where missing, 2 classic max burgers where missing, 3x chicken nuggets where missing. I tried calling many many times phone was not answered once

Absolutely disgraceful. Asked for allergy information and got told 'the manager doesn't want to take the risk' !!!! Sorry unacceptable, restaurant owners have a legal duty to provide customers with all allergen information. Management need to look up the "Food Standards Agency" and LEARN what they should already know!!

Heard a lot about slam burger so decided to see what the fuss was about. Restaurant was busy so I assumed I was in for a treat. The decor was inviting and the menu consisted of what looked like an ensemble of imitation burgers on one half McDonald’s displaying a (Big Mac) style burger the other Burger King with an Angus vibe. I got the classic double cheeseburger and wasn’t impressed. The meat was thin and dry with no sear or seasoning the bread was very standard. I’d compare to the same quality as Tim hortons. Ultimately I wasn’t impressed and thought it could be much better . Although it wasn’t inedible it was the least I’d expect for fast food burger 5.4/10

Best burgers and loaded fries in Leicester

One of the few good halal places in Leicester; the food is delicious, and the whole vibe of the restaurant is good, the staff were nice as well. All in all, it was a good experience.

Got food poisoning from the saver menu beef burger!! Despite this, burger had no taste. They tried to compensate this by adding tonnes of sauce! Still tasted bad and I got ill from it. Avoid. You should not be giving people old food just because its cheaper!! Chips are undercooked and dry. I’d rather eat toast.

Honest Burger, prices are fine staff is very kind and understanding. Only problem is the subzero temperature in the restaurant, the air con unit should been on the ceiling blowing hot air to make a barrier from the cold entering the dining room instead it is facing the guest and therefore useless or simply turn the heat on. We understand that the entrance door opens an closes every time somebody passes on the pavement and we get that it's expensive to turn the heat on all day as the dining room is big but we had to pack our food and finish it home. We would come more often if the place was warm but for little kids it a too cold and we will refrain to dine in when the weather is cold outside. Hope that makes sense to whoever owns the place .

It's clean, halal, children's tablets. The menus are OK, but it's still fast food. Recommended for anyone who likes fast food

So, I hit up this fast-food spot recently—got both chicken and beef burgers, and they were pretty satisfying. Shoutout to the friendly staff—they really brought good vibes, even though street beggars showed up asking for cash. Overall, it’s a laid-back spot with tasty burgers. The peri-peri chicken could use a flavor boost, but hey, it’s a mixed bag of experiences at this joint.

How can you sell beef patties that are literally a couple of millimeters thick. Is that why you don't call him beef burgers? Can't believe how skinny it is and I've taken pictures and as for your sauce small little packets. Absolutely ridiculous and the order is stone cold.

I went last night for dinner as my usual take away was closed. The atmosphere was so suffocating in the shop. I ordered on the electronic screen rather than going to the counter as there was no one there and I didn't want to wait. The place was empty par me and it made me very anxious. The place certainly isn't accessible for people like me as the fact I was struggling to breath due to the overwhelming smells. When I finally got my food home (a five minute walk) it was cold. I didn't want to bother going back and complaining. The burger had grisle in it and the chips were pretty tasteless and unseasoned. Considering that I have never been here before, I'm not certain I will be returning as countless other places on the same street are so much better.
