Best burgers and loaded fries in Leicester

One of the few good halal places in Leicester; the food is delicious, and the whole vibe of the restaurant is good, the staff were nice as well. All in all, it was a good experience.

Got food poisoning from the saver menu beef burger!! Despite this, burger had no taste. They tried to compensate this by adding tonnes of sauce! Still tasted bad and I got ill from it. Avoid. You should not be giving people old food just because its cheaper!! Chips are undercooked and dry. I’d rather eat toast.

Honest Burger, prices are fine staff is very kind and understanding. Only problem is the subzero temperature in the restaurant, the air con unit should been on the ceiling blowing hot air to make a barrier from the cold entering the dining room instead it is facing the guest and therefore useless or simply turn the heat on. We understand that the entrance door opens an closes every time somebody passes on the pavement and we get that it's expensive to turn the heat on all day as the dining room is big but we had to pack our food and finish it home. We would come more often if the place was warm but for little kids it a too cold and we will refrain to dine in when the weather is cold outside. Hope that makes sense to whoever owns the place .

It's clean, halal, children's tablets. The menus are OK, but it's still fast food. Recommended for anyone who likes fast food

So, I hit up this fast-food spot recently—got both chicken and beef burgers, and they were pretty satisfying. The Saveur Mojito drink added a nice touch, and there’s this cool kid’s section with screens, good for families. Now, the fries weren’t exactly rocking my world, but the place is spacious with a chill vibe. Shoutout to the friendly staff—they really brought good vibes, even though street beggars showed up asking for cash. Overall, it’s a laid-back spot with tasty burgers. The peri-peri chicken could use a flavor boost, but hey, it’s a mixed bag of experiences at this joint.

Drove all the way to Leicester to find out there's no parking. What a waste of time. Ended up eating elsewhere

I went last night for dinner as my usual take away was closed. The atmosphere was so suffocating in the shop. I ordered on the electronic screen rather than going to the counter as there was no one there and I didn't want to wait. The place was empty par me and it made me very anxious. The place certainly isn't accessible for people like me as the fact I was struggling to breath due to the overwhelming smells. When I finally got my food home (a five minute walk) it was cold. I didn't want to bother going back and complaining. The burger had grisle in it and the chips were pretty tasteless and unseasoned. Considering that I have never been here before, I'm not certain I will be returning as countless other places on the same street are so much better.

We'd been to Slam burger recently and were quite pleased with the overall experience. The food was delicious and the best part is that it's HMC Certified. So you don't need to worry about anything. If you're looking for a halal food joint in Leicester then you should definitely visit SlamBurger

This place is very nice. The food is very tasty. It is very spacious and I had space to put my babies pushchair. The food was quick. The drinks they had were nice. They had a variety on the menu. And not to forget they also have a breakfast menu. Please visit this place.

Bro Nur ud Deen is friendly! Mashallah Nice place for burgers and breakfast. Cheap and ideal. Amazing decor with plenty of space and even has kids seating area that they can play. Food is nice, fresh and hot. Definitely recommend to try you won't be disappointed.

Food was good got the kids meal. Have a lovely kids play area. However the toys had finished and try explaining that to a 4 year old.

Excellent spot for parents to take their children for meals as the restaurant offers children facilities to keep young ones occupied, also they have spacious seating area and baby changing facilities. Food was decent, service could have been better. I asked for a high chair and the guy who's what until I pointed at it and he goes yes help yourself.

Food is nice and different, prices are reasonable , kids meals is lovely and well presented and come with a toy, they also have a kids area to play. The loaded fries which I believe it's a new thing that was added is not that much and needs improvement.

Just been to slamburger with my boyfriend and a friend. It was a little bit late and I've asked if they still serve food. They said yes but only takeaway and while we were deciding what to buy two of us wanted to go to the toilet. After one of us went they said that is only for customers and it was just a bad tone and a unfriendly attitude. Horrible experience to stop someone like this while they try to order food from your place. Not recommended.

Zero knowledge about burgers, staff couldn't tell me the size of their burgers and do not provide grilled onions as an option. Simply not acceptable for someone claiming to specialise in burgers especially when charging such a premium.

Very very slow and nonchalant service. Took over 30 minutes to get a burger and there was no other customer at the restaurant at the time.

My kids love this place. I have visited so many times and everytime the food has been enjoyed. The happy meals come with toys plus the kids have a good option of food to choose from. I ordered the chicken fillet burger with hashbrown and it was so good! 👌

This is the first time eating at slamburger. It would more than likely be my last. The menu looked attractive and prices are fair. I ordered the sandwich with the beef meat and chicken. The chicken wasn't impressive it felt like an elevated chicken pattie and the hamburger meat seemed like a burger you take out of the freezer and microwave it. The sauces were decent, but the amount they give is so little. This place kinda gives me a McDonald's and Burger King vibes. I was hoping I could get a proper burger Also the amount of napkins they give is a joke. They give you one napkin for messy hand food. The resturant itself looked clean. It had a cool clean simple style. A bathroom is also available. I didn't get to use it so I can't review it. They also have a little tablet play area for the kids.

The food here is OK. I think it was much better when they first opened but since then it seems to have fallen off a little.

I’ve eaten here many times and will continue to keep coming here, the food is very tastey and a good price, I’ve seen various staff members here who are extremely polite and friendly, with genuine smiles. Must be good management here to have such a smoothly running place, unlike most of the fast food places I’ve tried within Leicester.

Nice place is this. Good choice of burgers & more. I indulged in the beef & chicken burger, 2 kids meals (chicken strips) & a chicken in bread. The burger was very good, filling and didn't fall apart immediately. The kids enjoyed their meals and the chicken in bread was a nice surprise! Tasty and a good portion for your money. The service was slow, extremely slow! But overall it was a worthwhile dine in option. I'd recommend this place.

Looked up this place in Google. It stood out when I saw the halal version of McDonald's and burger king. The place looks clean when I saw the menu it was mouth watering. I went for the beef whopper and my wife went for the double cheeseburger. The burgers were bang on a solid 9/10 the wings were some Algerian flavour which was different but the wings were nice and crispy and the flavour was very nice different never had anything like it before. Give them a try if your in Leicester

They are neither serious nor respect the promotion. At least they should have stopped handing out leaflets on the street if the offer was no longer valid or the stock was exhausted. Even the food is not that successful here, so I don't recommend it.

It's really nice for the kids. But majority of the play area was not working. The staff are very kind and helpful! The tiramisu is to die for. Only thing is sometimes the burger isn't the same. So consistency is vital!

Absolute terrible customer service! I ordered a meal via Uber eats. When my order arrived an hour later only my chips had arrived. I reported it with Uber but I also called Slamburger to make them aware only to be met with utter nonchalance! The guy on the phone checked my order number and said "oh he was supposed to give you 3 bags but only gave 2" when I quizzed him on how they forgot to give the 3rd bag containing the food he promptly blamed the driver. When I questioned him further saying it is their responsibility to hand over the bags he didn't seem bothered and basically told me it's not his problem! Safe to say I will NEVER order from them again and will make a point to tell others about their lack of customer service and empathy!!!!!

We visited Slamburger earlier today while we were on a visit to Leicester. We had never visited any of their branches before. We ordered the Steak Grill & Peri Peri chicken bread. The food arrived promptly & was quite tasty. These are big portions and good value for money. Yesterday, we visited KFC and paid the same for a meal that doesn't even come close to the taste or value for money. I highly recommend a visit as I know you will not be disappointed.

They have an ordering system like McD with a big touch screen. Prices are reasonable. The machine doesn't generate your order number and you have to go ask the front desk what your order number is. Many sauces are available as well

Honestly, they have really really good food and soooo affordable it’s amazing. I got a cheeseburger and it was such a good burger, yes it’s not the facy type, it’s the type you crave and here and there and you can just keep eating it. Definitely ordering again.

Very disappointed yesterday I had double cheeseburger meal around 8£ it's totally waste of money .small bun and beef inside was cold and they served double cokled fries .

MashaAllah it's an amazing establishment, definitely McDonald's like (similar to Burgerbase on Evington Road - Also amazing). We had the mix burger meal, 1 chicken, 1 beef patty and it wasn't too dry or saucy but delivered all the flavour. Whilst a big burger, the content of it wasn't all over the place and the bun didn't disintegrate as it does with some places when they stack everything together. The fries are on another level, especially when paired with their Algerian sauce. For the drinks we had the 7up Mojito, 50p extra but I think this is tastier than the standard soft drinks. The Snickers tiramisu has a wonderful combination of a smooth texture and pleasant flavour and not too overwhelmingly nutty. If you're wanting a milkshake however, they unfortunately are waiting for their machine to come back so no milkshakes temporarily (I asked where the machine was). Pricing is ok too given it's in town. Not as cheap as your typical fast food but it's wholeheartedly worth the extra buck. Staff were pleasant, friendly and smiley. The overall cleanliness was very good too (toilets included).
