Skinny Dip in Thanet

Staff were cold and unfriendly. Cliquey and pretentious vibe. Asked for extra hot coffee and it was luke warm at best. Disappointed as had heard good things and was really looking forward to trying.

I've been twice now and each time the coffee was amazing and the food had an amazing balance of umami flavours! I am usually very awkward around uber trendy places but this place is friendly, warm and welcoming.

Stumbled on this place whilst walking around the area, allowed in with our dogs, no problem! Fantastic menu, loads of helpful advice from our server. Vegan husband had tofu and I (veggie) had classic bodega..... It was stunning, washed down with delicious coffee and followed by fresh and tasty cakes. This place is a real gem!

Just the kind of place I need to stumble upon when in a town I don’t know too well. I had huevos rancheros because that is the dish that started my love affair with Cucina de Luz in Telluride CO! Lovely people. What more does one need to know. Oh and their homemade refreshing fruity fizzy drink thing is fab.

Very cool place! :)) Food was really delicious they do lots of mix cuisines on one plate which l love. Small kitchen so food is limited but delivered quickly and super tasty. Had no issues. It was third visit and will go again!

They are way overpriced for a simple cup of coffee, unfriendly and don't accept cash for 'safety'. What nonsense.

I went into this coffee shop with two friends after we had been for a run. We all only had cash as we don't risk losing our cards. We ordered coffee and cake, it came to nearly £20. I offered our national currency but was abruptly and quite rudely told that they do not accept cash! I asked why and was told that it was because of safety and they couldn't be bothered to give any change! On reflection the coffee shop has no comfy seats and everything seemed overpriced. There was a very limited menu. None of us will ever go back

Had been meaning to try this coffee shop for ages. Got around to it today, didn't have my glasses with me so couldn't read the menu, Tom, the owner, suggested the bodega egg sandwich as it is their best seller.... absolutely gorgeous!! Will definitely return, coffee was delicious too

Popped in for lunch really nice and tasty food! plan to go back! Coffee was also good but a little on the small sizes.

What a place, This place was recommended on our check out. didn't think mush of it but wend anyway. I am so glad we went. Please have the cheese toasty. please please please.Its so delish. If we weren't in this COVID culture, I'd be hugging the lady who looked after us. I highly recommend this cafe.

First visit today, 200 yards from my new home. Splendid espresso, served as it should be with a small glass of water. Sensational homemade pistachio and cardamom bun. I shall be back, often.

Great place - fantastic coffee e, food and service. We went there every day for coffee and breakfast. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. At the end of my stay, before going back to New York, they even gave me a cup. Coffee as good as anything you will find in nyc!

Very nice strong coffee. Cannot wait for it to fully open with food and people sitting around. Perfect location as this side of Northtown road needed a boost!

We have bought take away coffee from them few times, but now since we are allowed to sit for some food we also had sunday brunch. Delicious 🥰 Yuzu toastie was fantastic! Will definitely be back. If you are fan of Cliffs cafe, this is your next favorite destination 👍🏼
