Cabin Cafe in Thanet

Enjoyable food had the big breakfast, very tasty. Good service, very clean. Would recommend this cafe, family friendly atmosphere.

Dropped in here as needed a quick lunch. Was throughly impressed with the whole experience clean place throughout, staff really polite and friendly. I had liver and bacon which was superb and we had a chicken nuggets chips and peas. Both were spot on, liver was lovely and nuggets went down very well. All served up swiftly. Definitely visit again soon. Highly recommend.

Ordered 2 sandwiches to take away: Bacon & Egg which was ok... Sausage & Egg was not ok at all apart from the bread and the egg. Couldn't eat all the sausage as it was so dry and hard, hence the 2* rating. It's a shame as the menu looked great, but unfortunately will not be going back...

Just had a breaky .looked good. Dissapointing.bread hard and stale ,sausage bland .bacon nice.

Cafe absolutely spotless Very large menu, something for everyone Service was amazing and friendly. Seems like it's Mum Dad and the kids. My food arrived so quickly I had the large Vegetarian breakfast and it was a very full plate of food and tasted delicious. Everything cooked well. Think it cost £8.55 but that included 2 slices of toast and a mug of tea. Great value as most places they add on as extras. Big mix of people coming in. Friends, solos, workman. I don't live in area but was waiting for my car to be ready in a nearby garage Definitely worth a visit!!

Burgers good cheesy chips are not even melted, my ginger friend is more melted than this. Also overpriced drinks.

We have been returning customers for a while now, and just love the atmosphere, service and food. We are always greeted with smiles and welcomed immediately. Very attentive, very polite, and has a wonderful feel to the café itself.

Came in today after I'd had a minor surgery and my husband was waiting for the work on our car to be complete. Firstly, I was astonished at the price of the items on offer as I've not seen what is a full meal (omelette and chips) on offer for less than a tenner for years. I opted for this and a hot chocolate while my husband had a cappuccino and bacon sandwich. The food was cooked fresh to order, and was absolutely delicious. The portions were huge and definitely worth the money! The staff were really welcoming and kind to me and despite being short by one or two, they got all orders out in a timely manner. I would love to return.

Disgusting food , need to change your oil

This cafe is a real gem,my father and I go out every Saturday for lunch to different local venues and the visit to the Cabin cafe is the best. We normally have a jacket potato with one of the many toppings that are available, the potato is cooked perfectly with a very generous filling for £6/£7. We have had the Mega breakfast on other occasions and again with a very generous serving. I would thoroughly recommend this venue and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was fresh and absolutely amazing and service was fantastic food wooow out of this word and the place was clean and tidy toilets was spot on what a lovely place for all kinds of foods

The service was excellent, the food was pretty good but, I can't really comment on atmosphere as it was quiet when we visited.

Family meet up for lunch. Ordered grilled chicken chips and salad. When it turned up chicken was yellow and when asked ii was told it was marinated. Just that. No details of what in. I said the menu didn’t say it was marinated and i thought it would be plain grilled chicken to which i got the curt response that the menu doesn’t say its plain either. No customer care here then. As I had a surgery last year and cant eat spicy food and the chicken was marinated in spices it was no good to me at all. What a waste. Be careful if you have any food allergies here because you wont know what your getting! .

It was our first time here and it will definitely not be our last. All 4 of us really enjoyed the food/drinks and the staff are so welcoming.

Great breakfast! One of the best around and excellent value for money. Full English from £6.45 including tea or coffee and bread and butter. Not tried lunches, but the menu looks just as good value

Terrible breakfast this morning, couldn’t eat most of it so left it on the end of the table. Bacon was good enough to have with the toast, sausage was ok but the black pudding, eggs and chips were not edible Could fault the young girl serving me, very polite and well mannered

I visited this cafe the first time in over 55 years since I first went here. I lived local and it was a steel building originally used as a tea hut by local tram drivers whose trams were stored in a building across the road which now houses industrial units . Later on they increased its size b6 building on the front and making a small shop as well . The couple who owned it then lived up Northdown Road St. Peter’s .

The Cabin Cafe. What a place. A nice large airy establishment,and it has it's own car park. The well trained staff are curtious,and very helpful. But most of all the food is to die for,very taisty and not greasy,and freshly cooked just for you. Ten out of ten,nice one.

Made a group of us welcome and had a relaxed but bussy feel. Staff were great and so friendly. Will be regular visit for me and my pals down from London.

We discovered this lovely cafe after a trip to Margate. Delicious roasts - chicken and beef plus fantastic breakfast. Fresh plentiful vegetables, yummy Yorkshire puddings and crunchy roast potatoes. Good tea and coffee too. Recommended .
