Great value for money. No nonsense food in traditional pub environment. Popular with locals. Darts, pool and Sky Sports.

Great food and a lovely atmosphere

We've had meals here before, and they have been outstanding But today was a huge letdown as the chief had covered our chips in salt!!! We do not like salt on our food If we want it, WE ADD IT NOT THE CHIEF

We called in to The Swan on the off chance for dinner. James served us and although they were busy he found us a table. The service we received was exemplary, food delicious. Would recommend and definitely go back if in Newbury again. Thank you James you made us very welcome

For what we paid food was good value and tasted very nice.

Pub and restaurant were very busy. We had wings to start and sizzle dishes for mains. Generous portion sizes and very tasty too. Our waitress (Willow) was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly and efficient.

Kind of ok, service was fine, food was not well cooked.. pork belly was very hard to chew, the way rice tasted, they were likely warmed in microwave. Pub vise, atmosphere ok, beer ok!

Cheap and cheerful. Not bad for the price.

Wife not happy, food disappointing, toilets smelly, staff O. K. but stressed because of overcrowding.

Booked a table in advance to avoid disappointment... no steaks and very limited menu, advised after ordering. Waited 2 hours for our 2nd option meals , chips were lukewarm , scampi was bland. Ordered dessert.. custard was also lukewarm . Will definitely not be going back there.

Inconsistent hours for getting food. Been 4 times in a few weeks and not been able to eat, most recently booked table arrived to be told 1hr+ wait for food. Left without eating again

Was told were not taking walk in for meal. The dining room was empty. We are regularly having meals here but won't again.

The Swan recently visited is this destination. Staff very attentive and the venue is ideal for a inexpensive lunch during a busy work schedule.

Not like it used to be. Portion sizes are a lot smaller & they never do any offers unlike other restaurants.

Nice pub, really good food and great value

Another great meal, good staff friendly service. Can't fault the pub really, plenty of parking most the time, never had a bad meal from them. Was a little short on what they had on the menu but all 5 of us found something we wanted from the choice there was. Keep up the great work.
