Sizzlers Takeaway in Kirklees

My wife ordered from this take away which we have done for ages they got our order wrong the tried to tell us we then had to pay more to get our order. Then proceeded to shout over me as I tried to explain the situation they used to be good but now are becoming a joke as they don't care about customers only money. Then had the nerve to say if I take my order down they will fix it when it was a delivery.

Ordered a medium mixed kebab an this come 17 pounds when I asked for a medium mixed kebab on naan it was like a brick also a mixed kebab on naan is not that price at all they blocked my calls an won't refund me after giving me food poisoning and ripping all us customers off I get the same thing everytime but this one they really messed up and it's a joke to be honest

Donna taste like washing up liquid and they can't get your order right what you ask for

Ordered food at 17.45pm, turned up at 19.20pm, called the shop and got told that were very busy and to wait for the food. Person on the phone was so rude screaming and shouting at us when we called to enquire even tho the app said it would be with us at 18.45pm We were regular customers who spent a minimum of £30 each time. Food arrived cold and the ice-cream melted. wont be ordering again from here. They just lost 2 loyal customers! The only good thing was the delivery guy who apologised for the staff at the shop.

Staffs atmosphere on the phones are absoloutley disgusting, the food wasn't that hot overall crap experience the only decent thing was the driver delivering the food was apologetic

Ordered a few nights ago and my order never turned up! Stupidly I’ve ordered again as I really fancied a lamb balti pizza, this time it turned up but It definitely wasn’t a lamb balti pizza! It was Al sorts of chopped up meat some I could make out was donna meat when I rang the shop the guy on the phone made out he wasn’t understanding what I was saying he turned very rude and wasn’t willing to resolve the issue. Last time Al be ordering from this place! Absolute shambles of a place! Avoid this place :)

I ordered thru just eat I ordered a double cheese burger with cheesy chips only got one burger instead off two no cheese on the chips and paid for 2 tubs off sauce which didn't receive n no milkshake paid 20 pound for basically a single burger just eat won't sort it and never will sizzlers

£5.10 for a standard chips with cheese is daylight robbery.. i thought they had made a mistake with the price at first.. I couldn’t tell you if the food quality was any good, I was too busy spitting feathers at being mugged of £5.10 for cheesy chips! I understand we are in a cost of living crisis but this price increase is unjust.

Shocking service had to call the police. To say owner on the till had no clue about customer service or how to run a takeaway would be an understatement. Became rude and aggressive when advised him food was burnt. I am not surprised at all at the 1 star reviews. How many people independent of each other can give the same 1 star rating. Sizzlers was one of the first takeaways on Bradford Road. I am not surprised they are still stuck where they are after all this time.

Honestly avoid at all costs. Rude service, wrong order and when i called to have them rectify this I was promised 10 minutes twice with the correct order. No one turned up in the end and calls were ignored. Shame i cant give zero!! Its quite obvious the genuine reviews are negative and the odd good one are friends, family or workers dont bother

Ordered a chicken wrap came with no salad no sauce. Very dry. Chunky chicken inside it dry wrap over fried chips paid for a drink, forgot to pack a drink with it

Not had sizzlers for at least 10 years, got menu thru door and thought what's worse that can happen.. all these negative reviews probably just the only people that bother leaving reviews cos they had a bad one.. had 2 pizzas chips n Pepsi delivered for 19.50.. what can I say, pizza was spot on, loads of toppings and the chips were nice n crispy too! Will order again from here as cannot fault how nice it was.. just about to warm rest up for my dinner now!

Ordered their chicken tandoori special pizza and it was one of the best I've had. Generous with the toppings and good amount of cheese on. Very well made. Will deffo keep coming back if you carry on making pizzas like this. Keep up the good work. jzk

I saw another review on here saying "best pizza in batley" however if this is the best pizza in batley, then batley is a mediocre place when it comes to pizza... Now I didn't say it was bad but it's not great the dough of the pizza has the same texture as a pancake but I think I've said enough

Bought takeout yesterday and the food quality has gone down within 1 year. Chicken Karahi was swimming in oil, Large Onion pieces. Chicken Burger was greasy (must have been a re-cooked one) dripping in oil on the inside. Lettuce was old and not fresh at all. Donner Kebab had an unsual sour taste to it, again lettuce was old. Margarita pizza got rejected by my kids straight away as it tasted like cardboard. Paid nearly £20 but not worth it at all, spend your money elsewhere. Only thing good were the chips.

I am totally disgusted with the food and service here. All the food was off and had to be binned and nothing at all was done about it. Absolutely terrible experience and will never order from Sizzlers again. Very disappointing ☹

Just called in and ordered chicken tikka and donner in a pitta bread with a portion of fries to have before my night shift. Lovely food and the couple of lad's behind the counter were a nice couple of lad's. First time for me and if I'm working in batley again I'll be calling in again 👍

I ordered a Turkish kebab and a mixed starter and 2 cans of pop when it arrived the main dish the Turkish kebab was missing so I rang up the first time they acted confused and then hung up I ran a second time they apologized and said they would send the driver back out when I eventually got the Turkish kebab it was in a pizza box in a tied up carrier bag needless to say the condensation from the heat of the kebab turned the pizza box to mush so I couldn't eat the kebab because it was mixed in with the cardboard pizza box the mixed starter was stale and over fried so for 20 pounds the only thing 1 got was 2 cans of coke and ripped off big time its shame these guy food used to be really good I will never be ordering from Sizzlers again NEVER

Absolutely delicious!! Had chicken pathia with chips. Brilliant consistency with loads of chicken. Generous portions. Could have had it as spicy as I wanted, had it mild to moderate and it was just perfect even my friend who doesn’t do spicy enjoyed some too. Lovely clean premises, well decorated. Friendly helpful staff. Cooked fresh.

Phoned and ordered for collection. They said 20 minutes for collection, so I went to collect and was sat 45 minutes waiting!! Asked the guy how long it would be and they hadn't even wrote my order down nevermind even started cooking it. Eventually got the order and got home to find it all wrong! Rung to tell them and they apologised and said they'd make it again. Went down to collect again and got home to find it all wrong again!!! So i rung them and the guy literally laughed down the phone at me. So rude, 0% customer service!! MY ADVISE WOULD BE TO AVOID. Food isn't that nice anyway, was only place local open! Beggers can't be chosers right 🤷‍♀️ DISGUSTING!!!!

For the curry I ordered it was way too spicy, and the onion bahjis weren't cooked, very disappointed, and a waste of money .

So was amazing until they have started putting mint in the chilli sauce so I had to throw the entire meal away.It should be 1 or the other I can't eat any mint on a main meal and to me its not chilli sauce it's gross

Food isn’t too bad.Pizzas are a tad too cheesy however what actually put me off is placing an order over the phone! The phone gets answered by kids who don’t know how to talk to customers and demand door numbers and street name when just enquiring about prices.(stated this to them too but still kept asking). It would be nice if someone responsible answered the phone and spoke respectfully.

Ordered last night didn't turn up at all was told twice they set off but never turned up then turned up today wasn't a chicken fillet burger was cheap quality brought a donnor kebab and should of been chicken as don't eat donner meat and the meat feast pizza wasn't if the best quality and didn't bring the bottle of coke first time I've not been happy with my order from here

Ordered delivery was fast however received delivery to find pizza undercooked very slimy (as seen in photos), samosas weren’t in order but replaced with shama kebabs and cheesy chips were much to be desired cold and stale. Won’t be ordering again from sizzlers.

I order from their yesterday food was uncooked I ordered double patty one only single patty received plus burger had pepperoni should be mayo or chilli lol ,I won't order from this takeaway again even other takeaway will make better burger than I got last night too .this place really gone downhill plus they need to work on their customers service too as well

Ordered 7 burgers meals. Food turned up an hour late. Customer service was horrendous. Tea-cakes were disgustingly dry. Hair was found in one of the boxes. Do not order from here unless you like hairy, cold, dry food. Would rate in the minus if I could. Needs to be shut down.

A one star is too generous for this! food was meant to be delivered at 7:20 it came 8 o’clock, food was cold. On top of this the burger was ver dry, the kebab was also uncooked. Then what shocked me was there was not one, but there was two hairs in the food. Don’t order from here unless you want to be let down with your food! Rubbish.

FIRST TIME ORDER!!! LAST TIME I EVER WILL. I ordered at 22:40... Received a message to say food was on the way 40 minutes later despite being told food will take between 20 and 30 minutes... Food didn't arrive until midnight meaning it was a whole hour and 20 minutes before it was in my house. Totally unacceptable! By the time the food turns up I didnt feel hungry anymore so the food went to waste. Normally I would give a report on how the food tastes, however on this occasion I won't. I had gone past hunger and definitely way past the point where I would have enjoyed the food so it wouldnt have been a good review of that either. This takeaway didnt even deserve the 1 star I have given!!! I definitely will never be ordering from here again. So unless your prepared to wait ages for your food I wouldn't bother. Very dissapointed as I was a new customer.

Great pizza every time. They do offer a delivery service but I still prefer to go in and order myself. Plenty of dishes to choose from and all at a reasonable price.

Ordered food at 11.30. Finally arrived at 1. Tried ringing the takeaway in between that time as it was meant to arrive at 12.20 and nobody picked up even though the takeaways open until 1???? (it was about 12.30 when I rang). When the food did arrive it was covered in grease, cold and soggy. Wish I'd have read the reviews before ordering. Best part of the meal was the Ben and Jerry's ice cream I ordered for dessert.

Ordered here tonight, food was absolutely disgusting! What a waste of money! The pizza dough was far too thick and undercooked, the chips were extremely greasy and the lamb curry was loaded with chilli, my mum could only manage a mouthful. The food came with no salad or sauces. How are businesses like these still even operating. I dread to think what their food hygiene standards are like. Will not even contemplate ordering from here again.

Superb food, friendly staff. Mega munch kebab fabulous and the mushroom pekora lightly battered and cooked to perfection. Love the new layout for the megamunch :)
