Absolute joke ordered one meal chips were very very dry and hard to swollow only got a special curry with chips for one and it was £14 delivered and no free prawn crackers. And to be honest ive had alot better chinese takeaways than this. Avoid this so called chinese takeaway.

Food is nice enough but when you spend £50 and you don't even get any free prawn crackers its a bit of a joke.

Ordered from this place for years, always been gorgeous, never had a fault, early delivery and food was still hot

Good quality food just smaller portions than previous.

The app didn't update from saying that they had received my order until 1 minute after the delivery window and then said it was delivered. I didn't receive it till 10 minutes after the end of the delivery window ended.

Ordered food on just eat costing £30 and put it straight in bin. Squid was like rubber over cooked and dried out dont even think it was from this week. Specail chow mein was just dried noddles and 3 slivers of chicken, nothing specail abot it except price £10, and beef in black bean sauce was just tasteless and mo black been sauce just dark gravey. When I spoke to the restaurant, they just laughed and hung up. Save your money and stay away, you've been warned, The place should be shut down

Food is delicious always piping hot. The salt pepper chicken wings are great I love the curry there’s plenty of meat and veg. Best Chinese around by far

Food arrived on time and was hot. Pork fried rice nice and tasty, the curry sauce was nice but not very strong which I guess is ok as I don’t like it too hot. I got a chicken and noodle soup too it was very nice but not what I expected. It was noodles and just normal pieces of chicken in maybe an oyster sauce or a watery consistency. Tasted loved but I expected the kind of thick gloopy shredded chicken but yeah yummy food would use again. If you’re trying to find a nice Chinese I’d recommend you give this a go 100% and that’s good coming from a pregnant lady who’s very particular with her food at the moment!

The recipes have changed since when was black bean so spicy will not be buying again doesnt state it's spicy and was horrid too much when I didn't want that! So much better before . Spring rolls was pretty empty too just pastry

Got some fried rice and blackbean sauce and I couldn't eat it because it was too spicy. I like spice but that was even too hot for me to eat.

I forgot to add during my order not to add vegetables in our currys. Dragon City remembered exactly how we like our food and the food arrived perfectly!! Absolutely stellar customer service, if I could leave a rating of 6 stars out of five, I would! Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was excellent, I'm impressed with the level of prawn on the prawn toast... they don't skip out.. salt and pepper chips still crispy and noodles jam packet with meat. Free prawn crackers (big ones) which we were happy about... 1st time after a year of living in batley and safe to say we made the best first take away choice... 5 stars

Our usual Chinese was closed and due to Chinese New Year we opted for another restaurant. Very pleased although it was delayed we were updated and it arrived within new schedule time. Good food, hot when arrived and exactly what we ordered. Well done, we will order again

Was delivered late but it was Valentines night and so it was to be expected so no worries about that. The food was piping hot and very tasty. One of the best Chinese meals I’ve had

Atrocious......... every sodding time we order its over 90mins for delivery. 1.6miles. And a regular customer. I'm totally done. Tonight I hope you took that £40 order and stick it where the sun doesn't shine!!! I refused it due to it taking from 5.50 and at 7.30 no sign. .... done totally utterly done.

Ordered food at 5:44pm, was told delivery would be between 6:35pm-6:55pm which is swift for a Chinese, so, when the driver turned up at the door at 6:07pm you can understand I was not immediately prepared. Answered the door with £40 cash as order was £27 odd, to be greeted by the most rude person I’ve ever come across. Refused the £40 cash as he “didn’t have enough change” and gave me even more attitude because I didn’t have the exact amount he wanted and I’d “ordered too early”.

Ordered food at 5 past 6pm, didn’t arrive until 7:50pm! Phoned twice and both times said it was on its way. Just Eat said delivery time was 7-720pm, got told to ignore that. No apology’s, avoid!!

The mixed starter no2 was absolutely delicious but the chicken with bamboo and water chestnuts had no flavour at all, mights as well have been a boiled chicken in water. Shame as I do like this Chinese and the food is usually great quality. Reasonable delivery charge. Think I will stick to collecting my order in person

First time ordering. I ordered crispy chicken in ok sauce with fried rice and salted pepper ribs. It was lovely. Chicken was crispy with plenty of sauce and the ribs had so much flavour, plus the onions and peppers were spicy and crunchy. Food arrived hot and fresh.. Very happy. Would definitely order again.

New favourite local ❤️ Literally my only petty complaint would be amount of prawn crackers in a portion, there was 5 of us and 7 crackers in packet, usually a much larger portion from other restaurants however totally excusable as rest of food was amazingly tasty and hot!

Always happy with the service and food every time I order from Dragon City. Today I was disappointed, I really hoped for the free bag of prawn crackers when I collected my order :( I usually get them every time without fail! Just not tonight :(

We ordered food at 7pm , delivery time was estimated 1hour and 10 to 1hour and 30min. We received a text to say the food was on its way at 8:10pm. By 8:40pm we still hadn't received food and so rung. The woman asked us to wait while she talked to others in the takeaway for a long time, she then said it was on its way and would be 10 minutes. We only live less than 2 miles away. Food finally arrive at 8:50pm. Food was good but not as hot as we would have liked.

Ordered at 6:30pm Delivery time 7:35-7:55pm. Arrived at 8:15pm. Only live 2 miles away. Could have walked there and back faster. At least the food was worth the wait.

The quality of the food wasn't great, hence the low star rating. The chips where burnt and hard as if they had been double triple dipped and this is now the second time it has happened that I have ordered pork balls and received chicken balls which is naughty as the pork balls are more expensive!

Lovely food as always but disappointed that I ordered at 6.35 foe food to come at 8.30 but didn't get here until nearly 9.30. I called the restaurant about 8.55 and did get an apology the food was so late as they were busy but when you give plenty of time for your order you generally expect it around the time you asked for it. Maybe need more drivers on busy days?

My first time using this Takeaway and it won't be my last, the food was out of this world. Best Chinese EVER! I'll remember to bring cash with me next time as they don't except card payments.
