I don't usually write reviews for coffee shops because they're usually samey samey. But Six Volt Social club had the best coffee I've ever had. I had two, one after the other just because of how lovely it was. Great atmosphere and the deco is very nice. Would defo come back next time I'm in the area and would recommend it to anyone around here too.

Haven’t had such a nice independent place like this in Letchworth for years! The coffee is fabulous as is the service. The owners are lovely and have really put their stamp on this shop with loads of quirky features. Great to see some premium products on the menu too such as posh hot chocolate, power shakes and turmeric lattes. Been here a few times now and can’t see myself going anywhere else in the town for a coffee!

Been here a few times now and think it's perfect if you want nice quiet drink also amazed at the amount of brews that they do and also very nice cake but most of all I've managed to have a nice cuppa and also at the same time get ideas for my tattoo and book myself in as it's also a tattoo studio and the staff are also very polite and service is great is now my new place to go for a coffee 🙂

We visited the six volt social club cafe on its opening day and it is amazing!! The decor is of a pesky blinders style and the hot choc made with real chocolate flakes is amazing. The hosts Katie and Don are very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we entered. It’s really refreshing to visit an independent cafe with so much character.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my visit. Although the menu was small, deciding what to eat was unnecessarily complicated. I ordered the smashed avocado with chilli and lime, served with poached eggs on sourdough. While the eggs were cooked perfectly, the avocado was excessively mushy and lacked the vibrant flavour that chilli and lime should provide. My oat milk latte was underwhelming, offering a bland taste that fell short of expectations. Furthermore, locating the café was a nightmare since it’s hidden away off the main road, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to find. The overall experience did not justify the effort, and I left feeling that it wasn't worth the visit. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

48 High StreetWe just had a fantastic meal at Chez Burton. The small plates were all delicious and the service was friendly and kind. I particularly liked that it was explained exactly what was on each dish when it was served. Also props for not adding a service charge automatically, which made me happier in choosing to leave a larger tip for the excellent service. We sat in the front of the restaurant as you walk in. I must say that the bar area also looks fantastic and the cosy room behind that with the comfortable and beautiful looking furniture looks dreamy and we will 100% try that for an after dinner cocktail when we come back!

1 Angel PavementCozy place that offers a wonderful mix of great coffee, delicious food and warm atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with friendly smiles. The staff are friendly and attentive. Even during busy hours, they maintain a welcoming and efficient vibe. Highly recommend!!!!

22 The WyndLovely to find them open on a Sunday. Great choice and friendly staff. Stayed for a couple, could so easily have been more! Seating outside and in. Live music on some nights, friendly staff. parking close and free after 6pm. Good choice from all over the world.
