Six Towns Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Looking at past reviews I wasn’t expecting anything too fancy but the buffet breakfast was actually not bad at all! Good selection of the usual hot food and a good ‘cold’ selection if cereals etc. The only bad thing I can say is there was no black pudding! Still good though.

Were arrived late so the buffet looked tired, so we ordered two cheeseburgers. They were OK with load of fries and salad. I think they were definitely out of frozen packets, but then that's what we do at home.

There is a choice of chicken, pork or 'fish' (grey mush in thick, hard breadcrumbs) with frozen vegetables and chips or alternatively potatoes that look like they have been there all week. Some sad salad another alternative with bought in (frozen?) gateaux and cream for desert. Unappealing and no children's menu.

If you can't cook a sausage and egg well then how on earth are you in business...Breakfast was cold and not tasteless. Options were very limited and what was on offer wasn't good.

I've just visited this hotel for breakfast, appalling don't bother the chief should be made to eat his own food, rubber fried eggs, dried BB, cold mushrooms, unbelievably poor, don't go. Appallingly poor breakfast, not fit for pig swill

Not a place I would return to in a hurry but for a budget price food was ok and service very good. Bar prices not bad for a hotel.

Suppose you should be wary with a three course offer - but it should still be edible. Bland cold food, chicken and pork mains, should be held at temp, expect been in pots all night, boiled potatoes obviously been there for hours, chips cold and bland - waiter on duty just couldn't be bothered, had to ask for some drinks to wash down meal, least Subway next door If you like bland cold food in a empty large room listening to 60s tunes, with a Shining vibe this is the place.

The restaurant offers a three course, self service 'Buffet style' dinner for £9.95.. a bargain! However, the ambience is a cross between stepping back in time 30 years, and 'The Shining'
