Visitamos este lugar por primera vez después de pasar muchas veces y siempre pensando que parecía un lugar que deberíamos visitar. Tenía un gran ambiente con una encantadora mezcla de gente. Encontramos una mesa fácilmente alrededor de las 3 pm un sábado y nos quedamos para dos rondas de bebidas a medida que el lugar se volvió progresivamente más ocupado. Se sentía como un pub animado en comparación con otros que habíamos visitado en la zona y estaba muy bien administrado.

Una joyita de un pub que sirve las mejores pizzas de la zona. Fuimos aquí antes de ir a un espectáculo en el Wilton Music Hall - a 5 minutos. Aunque un poco tranquilo cuando llegamos a media tarde de un viernes, se amenizó muy bien sin estar lleno / estridente. El punto culminante de la visita fue sin duda la pizza. No sé qué otra comida sirven, pero vale la pena ir solo por la pizza. Volveré a llamar cuando esté en el área.

A lovely trad East London pub. Fab staff and lovely customers. Which says it all. We had a drink and then decided to stay for food. Pizzas salad and wine all great and very good value. Would def recommend and we will be back.

Initially left a negative comment on here after having to wait a while for our food, however I decided to take it down. Went back into the pub and all the staff were extremely apologetic, plus they upgraded the size of my pizza 'on the house'. Nice food and nice people, will be going back at the same time next week as usual

This pub serves quite frankly the best pub food I’ve ever tasted. Crispy chicken wings are divine, as are the burgers and the pizzas. Well worth a detour to eat here.

Great bar with really great real homemade pizza! Big selection of beers and spirits, including some unusual ones, and much cheaper than a few minutes back into the "City". Dart board area too, and super friendly staff. Lots of very good burgers, wings, vegetarian and vegan options too. We have had several team evenings here as caters for everyone really well.

Came here with friends for a Christmas get-together and we had the time of our lives! Costin the brilliant chef put on a fabulous spread: pizzas, garlic bread, chicken wings, charcuterie, cheeses, crudities, fries which was delicious and fit for a king! This is not ‘ordinary’ pub grub - it’s in another league. The staff are so friendly and the pub is super-cosy. There’s also a dart board which is loads of fun! Thank you Sir Sydney Smith - that was awesome!

We visited for the first time last night for a few drinks, it was great. A real London pub! The staff we excellent, really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Always a great spot for a drink and the food is incredible and such great value. I’ve been coming here for more than a year from time to time and I always find myself craving the pizza and burgers after a long week.

This place is great for drinks with friends. It’s a lovey pub with a dart board and we use this place regularly for the darts, beers and wonderful food on offer! The pizzas are top notch real quality pizzas at affordable prices. Highly recommend. Bar staff also fabulous, good energy and great fun all round.

Visit this place on regular basis. Proper pub with good range of beers on tap. Staff are excellent and you can order freshly cooked pizzas which tastes amazing!! Highly recommend.

Wonderful bar, was tons of fun and The Food was absolutely delicious. The staff is incredible and so friendly they made us feel like family. If you have the chance to go here make sure you take it.

We come here often as it's the closet real pub to our office. But taking that out of the equation I reckon I'd still come to this venue. It's easy going has a great selection of drinks including craft ales, great wines and a decent selection of spirits. Throw into the mix tasty and well cooked pizzas along with cheesy chips this place is well worth the visit. Eclectic sounds and warm, friendly staff make this a real gem amongst the others touristy bars and pubs in the vicinity. I'm pleased to have this place just around corner keeping the London pub vibe real 😀 😊

During the pandemic the Sir Sydney Smith became my home away from home. The landlord, chef, staff and regulars are a joy to be around. New customers always seem as though they have found a hidden gem. Food is wonderful and served fresh and hot. A great spot to watch the big England games as well. I never had a regular until i found the Sir Sydney.
