Really good breakfast and lunch food, and lovely staff who remembered how I liked my salmon bagel even after a 6 month break before my last visit! Go there rather than one of the coffee chains!

Es una parada obligatoria! Cada vez que estoy en Londres, visito a Kopitiam y la encantadora dama que lo dirige. ¡Ella nos recuerda a mí y a mi esposo incluso cuando venimos una vez al año!

Wij vonden deze plek op onze laatste dag, dat vonden wij heel jammer. Veel verschillende broodjes die vers worden gemaakt. Makkelijk voor mensen met allergieën (zoals melk). Broodjes zijn heerlijk, koffie is prima en het is een leuk en klein tentje. Zeker om aan te raden!

Familiäres, ungezwungenes Ambiente. Grosses, umfangreiches Frühstücksangebot und leckere Sandwiches. Sehr zu empfehlen!

I worked round the corner and always got the emmental/avocado/chilli flakes/cherry tomatoes bagel and it tasted glorious :) Solid fave, and the staff are so sweet and genuine! It's well-priced too and healthy. No downside!

I have been coming here for a while now. Amazing food, excellent coffee. I get my lunch everyday and the owner simply asks me 'the usual?' when I walk in. Now that's customer service.

He estado allí dos veces en mi viaje a Londres. Fuimos la primera vez porque se veía bonito y fuimos en el segundo tiempo sabiendo que los bocadillos son increíbles y el servicio es muy agradable. El propietario cuida de todo y ella es muy amable. Volveré seguro la próxima vez! Sería mi lugar de desayuno diario si viviría aquí. Gracias de nuevo por todo!

El personal es amable, lo que siempre es una gran ventaja. No encontré la ensalada para mi gusto, pero era fresco y bien presentado, como era de esperar para un café independiente de este tipo. Tenga en cuenta que las mesas son compartidas.

Descubrí este café/cafetería hace un año o así cuando nos trasladamos las oficinas de Aldgate. La comida parece estupendo desde la presentación. Lo que destaca es la atención al detalle en los bocadillos a las ensaladas. Todos cata única y brillantemente realizados.

Es ist zugeben ein kleines Lokal mit nur 12 Plätzen an zwei Tischen. Es ist aber richtig gemütlich und alles schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Der Kaffee wird in Emaliebechern serviert. Die Preise sind niedrig.

Found that lovely little Cafe on the first day and came back for breakfast every following day . Very tasty sandwiches and shakes /smoothies. Friendly service and moderate prices.

Firstly, it mainly comes across as a posh sandwich bar. I only really go there for lunch.The number of items and selection on the menu is very good.The brownies are excellent.It's a bit pricey but that's Whitechapel/Aldgate these days I'm afraid.

This is probably by far the best sandwich and salat place in London. I've been going there in 1 1/2 years almost every single day. The food is incredibly fresh and tasty (Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich & Chicken Cesar Salt are superb but make sure to leave some space for the brownies!!!!!!!). The staff is super nice and always up for a chat. Unfortunately I left London, but I definitely will miss this place! Thanks Janet for the super nice time!

Having lived in Malaysia, I popped in here to give it a try.The owner was really friendly, the hummus toasted bun was delicious and I could choose the type of bread from a good selection. The Singapore ginger tea in an enamel cup was also excellent and a real reminder of being in Singapore. Next time, I'll have one of the delicious looking salads and a slice of cake. A great place to relax after a visit to the Whitechapel Gallery as it's just across the road.

Quick and convenient. Large array of options from sandwiches to salads, including the occasional gluten-free dessert! It's not incredibly cheap, but the quality is good.

I love to stay fit and pay huge attention to being healthy. We all know salads aren't always that yummy. This coffee house makes the best salads everrrrr you will never have to give up tasty delicious food ever again if you eat their salads!SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!

Dopo una mattinata piovosa capiti in un posticino così e ti trovi rigenerato in un batter d'occhio! Ampissima scelta di torte, biscotti, zuppe ed insalate. Da asporto o da mangiare in loco su di un paio di tavolo i in cui colloquiare con il vicino. Voglio tornarci!

A really chilled cafe that reminds me of my favourite hangouts in SE Asia, the food is delicious and well priced, (definitely recommend the teh halia!) with excellent service from friendly staff.

We totally love it, we were walking and suddenly we saw over the window the lovely muffins and we went in.Attentive service, the style is rustic and simple, loved the bagel with salmon and the blackberry muffins <3!!!!!

My friend and I chanced upon this little place today and enjoyed a lovely brunch. With a wide variety of bread and filling choices, the toasted sandwiches were full of flavour, the salad fresh and tasty and the best bit was the hot chilli chocolate. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this beautiful and cozy cafe! The staff is lovely, providing a superb customer service that will make you come back.There is a variety of delicious dishes! From signature vegetarian saladas, to classic sandwiches with fresh and unique types of bread. The pesto-mozarella sandwich is to die for! Definitely worth trying!

For your sandwich you can pick the type of bread you prefer and there's also a variety of yummy fillings mixed in very tasty combinations. If you want to eat lighter, there are many salads as well. Don't forget to try some of the healthy and amazing juices with some luxurious cakes! Ingredients are fresh and owner and waiters are not only kind but very friendly. I have many fav there but try the bagel with cinammon butter!

What's there to say about a place that's not already been said. If you're in the Aldgate East area and want a simple fuss free meal, this is where you go. The 2 ladies behind the desk are friendly and always ready to accommodate your request, with a smile at that. The cinnamon butter with bagel toast is a must try for breakfast. Generous amount of cinnamon butter spread on warm toasted Bagel washed down with a Kole (a large mug in Malay) is a perfect start to any day. The sandwiches and the cakes are good too. I've been having my breakfast here for the last 2 days and am about to head there again for my last breakfast in London. You couldn't go wrong with this place. I can't recommend this small quaint cafe enough. Visit it yourself to know what I mean.

The girls behind the counter are always nice and helpful, the ingredients of their salads and sandwiches always fresh and the place looks clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

It's taken a while, but this is our new regular lunch spot, having recently relocated to the area. It can be hard to find fresh, healthy and tasty food down here, but this place delivers in spades! My favourite is the smoked chicken & cashew salad - with spinach leaves and couscous. £4.80 is a very fair price. Coffee also good. Sandwiches and cakes look delicious, but I'm trying to resist too many carbs!

i love this little gem of a cafe. it's quite small but has a huge menu of breakfasts, salads, sandwiches, and snacks.the bagel with homemade cinnamon butter is delicious. i've also come to love their fresh salads, which are all made and tossed right in front of you. there is also a dangerous assortment of cakes on offer just as you walk in. the chocolate guinness one is rad.always quick and friendly service, which keeps me coming back.

This place is well located near Aldgate East.My partner and I stumbled on it by accident. The staff were very friendly.The salmon and cream cheese bagel was ok. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Juices were ok, a little bitter.In all fairness we probably didn't order the best thing in the place and I didn't have an opportunity to have the coffee. Most of the reviews are very positive and for the most part I agree with them. I would definitely give this place a second chance before writing it off completely.Keep up the good work!

Been here a couple of times for lunch. Italian roll, toasted. Makes a welcome change from Sainsbury's meal deals. Huge menu of salads, sandwiches, soup etc. Choice of breads. Nice looking cakes (haven't tried). Sit down or take away.

Ok, walked in purely coz of its name and ordered the most Singaporean thing on menu but nothing else so I can't comment on the food. But the milo ice was great! Thick, foamy, quite one of the best I have had!

Kleine ruimte maar er was niet veel volk (jammer voor de uitbaatster uiteraard, goed voor ons). Wij gingen er voor ontbijt, was simpel maar lekker! Koffie was ook goed. Vriendelijke bediening, ze kent haar vak! Aanrader!

I barely ever bother writing reviews unless the food is amazing and the staff are nice and this place excells at both. I'm a university student that lives just down the road and I pretty much go in here on a daily basis if I'm commuting and don't have time to cook. I've tried most of the things on the menu and honestly, you'll struggle to find a more delicious sandwich shop anywhere in London.

Cet établissement tenu par une Singapourienne est le must des petits déjeuner. Il était tout récent ouvert en octobre 2014 et offre des spécialités de Singapour. Le Milo Dinosaur est un des meilleures chocolat au lait que j'ai bu et je suis Suisse… En fait Milo est un produit Nestlé vendu dans plusieurs pays, il ressemble à l’Ovomaltine Suisse. Beaucoup de tartines y sont préparées dont le Nutella banane ou le beurre de cacahuète confiture. Leur bagel au saumon sont aussi délicieux. Les commandes sont rapides et leurs tarifs sont corrects.

Was looking for lunch and walked past this place. Low key cafe that serves up some nice food. Beats eating a sandwich from Tesco any day of the week.

Great addition to Whitechapel High Street - extensive salad and sandwich list, they will also be happy to cater to requests in the unlikely event you do not find something suitable. Selection is excellent, down to the bread choice! Staff are friendly & efficient. Very good value.
