Sir Stephen's Brasserie in Telford and Wrekin

I stayed in the hotel so of course used this restaurant and so pleased I did. Simple menu that caters for all, well presented and served up by charming and friendly staff. What more do you want.

I came for breakfast and dinner and was disappointed with both. The breakfast had little fruit available while the dinner was pretty poor. One of the guests in my group found raw chicken, asked for the manager and was told it was pre-cooked! I expect fresh food at a restaurant, not microwavable food!

Amazing afternoon tea and great service. Haven’t had such a nice afternoon tea in a long time and the quality and quantity were top notch. Can highly recommend and will return. Thank you

Breakfast was a buffet and really good but the evening meals left a lot to be desired, the vegetables were hard, nearly asked for a steak knife to cut them!! The staff were not trained to wait or organised and just put plates down anyhow, even reaching across the table to deliver a meal or collect dirty plates. One waitress did smile and was helpful but that was all. Large room with many tables, any one with hearing difficulties, would probably struggle.

Whilst staying at the hotel I ate here and all was most satisfactory. Good menu and a fine choice of beer and wine all served by charming staff.

If you were lucky as we were you can watch match at the same time all three courses were excellent and vegetables were plentiful

Staying in the Telford Whitehouse, thought I'd pop in for supper. Was served a drink relatively quickly, then had to wait 15 minutes before someone ambled over to see what I'd like to eat. Was told my first choice of fish and chips was not available so ordered a burger instead. Cue the wait for another 20 minutes before some food turned up. Considering I was the first person there and only one other person turned up a short while later, they were hardly rushed off their feet having to serve 2 people. Nearly 40 minutes to get a burger and a pint of beer is pretty ridiculous.

Pasamos la noche con los amigos en esta brassarie. Las vistas hacia el campo son un cambio bienvenido de mirando hacia la calle. El servicio del personal es muy buena, pero la escasa variedad de menú y la mala calidad y la sustancia de la comida de ciertos platos que decepciona. En conclusión una noche mediocre en un entorno bastante diferente del restaurante.

Whilst the food was more than adequate the service had alot to be desired, thank goodness it was quite!

Nuestra visita fue una decepción. Elegir el menú es limitado y aburrido. No es aceptable que se hicieron esperar 50 minutos para una comida sencilla y sin explicación. Cualquier tipo de contacto del personal habría sido bienvenido, pero ninguno se acercaba. La decoración y el mobiliario son una reminiscencia de una cantina o refectorio y nuevo siempre conmueve. Cuando llegó la comida era aceptable, pero por entonces ha perdido interés.

Very limited choice and very expensive.If you like salads you're in for a treat......if you like potato and veg this is not the place for you !!!!

We had breakfast only here and it was fine, the same as you get in every hotel but at £10 each it was a bit expensive.

this is the first time we have visited this restaurant since it was taken over we were so impressed that we have made a booking for Christmas day

Visitamos en los almuerzos de los domingos. A la llegada el personal fueron apáticos. Mesa para 2 vigilado. Entrantes tanto normal para ser sincero. Asador: verduras y budín de Yorkshire tenía un sabor rancio primordial de grasa. las patatas y patacas chirivías asada estaban aguados debido al hecho de que ellos habían empapamos mucho de grasa, puré era horrible y bultos. asador para servir de chef estaba mal humor. Gemido a una camarera sobre gestión mientras sirve. Sin duda no volveremos.

My partner and I went out for date night, we decided to go to this restaurant at the Whitehouse hotel telford, well we were very glad we did! Fantastic food! But excellent service the staff are all super friendly and polite made us feel very welcome, the food was stunning we had three courses and loved all three, I would highly recommend this place for some super yummy food and excellent service! Thank you to the team!

Called in last Sunday, no prior booking made, for lunch. Staff quickly gave us a choice of tables, both overlooking the panoramic windows with views of the football pitch. Starter was delivered quickly, simple and obviously pre prepared but ok. The carvery made up for this. Good choice of meats, loads of different vegetables and all fresh and piping hot. Didn't have room for pud. The lesson learned...don't bother with a starter just dive in to the main course.

Stayed in hotel and had breakfast here. Good selection of hot self serve foods along with cold fruit selection and cereals, along with endless coffee, and very polite staff.

Wonderful place, great views of Telford's pitch and the food and service was excellent, The staff were helpful. We were a group of friends visiting the area for the first time and the waiter was so helpful as a tour guide.

Food was lovely, big portions and nice. Staff very helpful. Only issue was the air conditioning not working and on a day when it was 28 degrees that is a bit of a problem. Also seemed to take an age to change the beer barrels but they may have been a long way away. Would eat there again

The Menu here doesn't offer a great choice for Vegetarians, however the Chefs will prepare and serve whatever you ask for! Wonderful service to be able to order your favourites!

We were staying in adjacent hotel and for convenience we though we could eat at the pleasant looking brasserie overlooking the Telford footy pitch.The service was shocking with clueless staff, 20 mins before we got a drink and about an hour for starter that was Nacho's. Main coarse was pan fried chicken that was really overcooked with soggy pasta.Really fed up and the bill wasn't cheap either.

We had good food, there was plenty of choice, even for children and the service was great. Reasonable value for money.

Bit cold in the room in the winter, but staff are fantastic and food is good
