Last time we went to Sir Charles was in winter lashing down with rain. Walking into warm open fire set the mood then, fast forward to this vist. Beautiful summers evening taking a friend along as he is a great food lover. Sitting in garden enjoying the summers evening choosing our food and dinning outside. Food was faultless thank you very much to the team.

We were a group in a private room, sharing the same pre-selected menu. The meal could not be faulted and I plan to return soon. The restauran also has a delightful garden.

Fuimos para el desayuno, un servicio atento, todo estaba limpio y el desayuno era realmente muy bien preparada (no lo que esperaba de un pub). La única decepción fue los ingredientes, la salchicha fue sin duda un cheapo uno y tenía un divertido esponjosas textura pero ¿qué se puede esperar por alrededor de £6 por dos desayuno inglés completo. Comí que de todos modos pero yo preferiría que pagar 5 libras por persona y tienen mejor calidad ingredientes así que probablemente no será una vuelta por un tiempo, tuvimos que aún le dan 4 estrellas, porque a pesar de eso, era prácticamente preparado y servido a la perfección!

I visited the charles napier for Breakfast ... i wouldnt go anywhere else! Extrenely good food. Good value for money and a great atmosphere.... I would highly recommend this pub for food and drinks. The owners are very friendly and make you feel extremely welcome!!! I wouldnt go anywhere else...

i would recommend any one who lives or visits golborne warrington to have breakfast at the sir Charles napier (tippings) its child friendly and serves good wholesome fresh cooked food all day at unbeatable prices WELL WORTH A VISIT.

I have just returned home after having the best value for money full English breakfast I have ever had. Two sausages, black pudding, fried egg, hash brown, beans, mushrooms toast and a large coffee all for £4.50 cooked by the wonderful chef juile lawton sat in a friendly relaxing atmosphere . would highly recommend to anyone , especially if you are going to haydock races or just passing by.

The George & Dragon High Street
A lovely pub in a historic Cheshire village. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The sunday roast was piping hot and plentiful. Id love to see a variation in the veg. Perhaps carrot & swede or cabbage greens. We will visit again.

20/22 Faulkner StreetI've just been in there today. I've also read previous reviews. I ate and drank there. It was great, food was quick to arrive and was cooked well. Inside its got a classy feel, different types of chairs and tables so you can pick somewhere comfortable to sit. I had a big wingback chair but was tempted by the windows. I will be going back it was great. And there is street parking outside. If you go out back you can sit outside too.

279 Chester Road, HartfordAbsolutely amazing meal - gorgeous brushetta for starter and then a delicious roast for main. The roast dinner was the nicest I have eaten in years!!! A meal enjoyed by all of the family, served by very friendly staff. Keep doing what you are doing, can’t wait to go back.

32-36 Newgate StreetWent here last night with a group of 11. We were asked to pre order food prior to our visit which we had no problem with. However, when the food came, three of the meals were missing chicken (as ordered) and had to be sent back and one meal was forgotten about completely. The meals that were sent back took another 20 minutes to arrive and the meal that was forgotten about didn't arrive for around 40 minutes after the first meal had come out. By which time, everyone else had finished eating. There were also two bowls of chips that didn't arrive with the rest of the meals. The food itself was very nice but the service was poor, very slow and no apologies for the food mix ups. Despite all of the errors, we were not offered any discount on the meal. In fact, the bar manager was very rude and unprofessional when we said we did not want to pay for the meal that had been forgotten about. Would go here again for drinks but not to eat.
