Lovely food, fantastic staff and relaxed and classy vibe! First visit and was a genuinely welcoming experience... staff took the time to make the evening memorable! So refreshing, will be back!

The worst meal we’ve had for a long time. Served 2 glasses of Sauvignon instead of Cabernet Sauvignon, corrected but then got wine in a gin glass? Food was unbearably salty, a hair found in my daughters meal. Then given a bill for all food minus the one with the hair in - because the chefs wear hair nets? Refused to pay as all food was vile, staff were incompetent and unapologetic, such a shame, will not be returning.

What can I say? I love Chime / every time we arrive, we are treated like VIP’s! Food is always great, cocktails are the best in town and the staff fantastic! Another great night tonight! Thanks :)

Terrible, terrible pub. Outdated, stinks and downright rude staff and customers. Possibly the worst pub in Northwich! Makes The Blue Barrel look like The Ritz.

My partner and I called in for drinks and loved the feel of the place. The staff were welcoming, friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Having not been for a while, it was good to call in and see it busy. We will definitely be back.

Yet another wonderful meal at Chime. We went for Sunday lunch and we all had the beef dinner. Absolutely, fantastic. Vegetables had a very tasty glaze and beef was cooked perfectly and very tender. Gravy was not rationed which was a great bonus too. Compliments to Luca and Caesar for a fabulous Sunday dinner. The staff makes us feel like family here and we cannot speak highly enough of them. Try the Sunday dinner !

I’d booked for Mother’s Day and mums birthday meal & my god it was amazing. The food was incredible we had no complaints! I would rather support local independent businesses and pay the price for good quality rather than go to a chain and get crap quality. This place was just impeccable. The service was amazing from Billie! Billie took the time to speak my brother who has learning difficulties and was very patient with him, remembered our order off the top of their head and just exceeded my expectations. Absolutely top place to eat for a treat

This place is cool as hell and as well as being welcoming it has really great food and an amazing array of cocktails. Our Saturday lunch visits here last way too long but time flies when you’re having fun.! I can’t praise the team there enough and I love the fact they encourage you to try something new and get you out of your comfort zone. Particular thanks goes to Billy for his attentiveness as well as being one of the nicest chap I’ve had the pleasure to meet. See you all again soon.

We booked a table to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. We were looking for a smaller, independent restaurant rather than a chain. We were not dissapointed! Arrived 20 minutes late due to the traffic, we were greeted by a lovely manager lady Gail in a very friendly and professional manner and shown to our table. We asked for some food and wine recommendations. The head chef came out to us and recommended the sea bass and the ribeye steaks which were delicious! We also had the most amazing scallops as starters. Gail recommended some white wine which was a perfect match with the fish. All staff were extremely helpful and attentive. We spent a fantastic evening. Thank you so much for making it very special!

John and Gail are the most welcoming hosts. I had dinner on a Friday, late on and unexpected. The chef was willing and more than happy to serve me even though, its was nearly time to close. The food was fantastic, I had the goats cheese croquettes. They were crispy and delicate on the outside and the filling was delicious and incredibly scrumptious. Just the right amount of Goats cheese, not over the top ! I often have a drink here on a Thursday and Friday evening. The staff are the most welcoming. They are extremely friendly and even know my drinks order now. I could only highly recommended Chime and the fabulous staff that work there too. Pop in !

We came here for dinner and took advantage of the 40% off food promotion running in January. I ordered the burger and my partner ordered the pizza. It was genuinely the best burger I’ve had, and my partner said the same thing about the pizza. High quality fresh ingredients put together by a very talented chef. Desserts were also very authentic. The young man who served us was very friendly and efficient too. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and we can’t wait to visit again. If you’re looking for quality food, in a lovely environment, then I’d highly recommend.

After a shaky start to our visit, we waited 30 minutes for a garlic bread and prawn cocktail starters being the only two eating was unacceptable however the bill was heavily discounted for our trouble which was a lovely gesture. Having said that the food was well worth the wait. You really should warn guest about the size of the starters though …. We ordered a rib eye steak and a fillet. A nice touch someone came from the kitchen to explain that due to the fact I wanted my fillet well done it would come out smaller, I appreciated that level of concern. The steaks, salt and pepper chips, onion rings were to die for and we found the taste exceptional, far better than miller and carter. This wonderful restaurant is well worth a visit, the food was amazing…. Just one comment it would have been nice to be told about offers and different menus, we didn’t find out about the bottomless brunch until too late, nice to have a choice of it’s available Well done all. had really high hopes for this spot in hartford, really nice atmosphere, however the food was shockingly bad with over 50% of the menu scribbled out. there was a managerial character running around without a clue of what was going on. the saving grace to this restaurant was the service and the front of house staff- a young girl called Lucy served us and she couldn’t apologise more for the disgrace of the menus. food was bland and lukewarm at best lacking flavour. cocktails however went down really well made by a guy on the bar who went out of his way to advice us on cocktails (would recommend the rasbery bramble) can’t remeber his name- possibly james or jamie. overall left disappointed however will be back when food has improved because couldn’t fault the staffs service or attention to detail despite whoever had the idea to grab a pen and scribble out half our menus. If you don’t have any food in and rather than getting more you scribble it all out i really don’t know what this says about the management or the business itself.

We visited for a meal before we attended a show at the Grange theatre. The food was lovely and the service was absolutely brilliant, a gentleman called Ben was funny and attentive, so much so we returned after the show for a bottle of Prosecco. We will definitely be returning 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was absolutely fantastic when the new owners first took over for a year or so but now it is just bland, Basic & boring and no direction what so ever. We used to come as a family and enjoyed all the dishes such as the lobster pasta, Butter poached chicken etc. I hope they get there act together and sort the food until then we won’t be in a rush to visit.

We had a surprise Baby Shower here for my friend on Sunday! The staff were amazing, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had a beautiful buffet provided the food was outstanding and such a fantastic choice! Will absolutely be thinking of this place first for any future get together and highly recommend it. The room upstairs is just perfect for intimate celebrations thanks to Ken and the team for making it a wonderful day.

I haven't written a review for a while but felt compelled to after our amazing visit to Chime. We only went by accident, admittedly, as we've driven past on loads of occasions without stopping in. I'm so glad we tried it. It's a welcoming high-quality micro-brewery/bar downstairs with maybe 10 further tables upstairs, mainly for food. The drinks were excellent as well. We'll be back for more Hush ales and properly prepared pornstar martinis . Now to the food...Crispy Chilli Beef to start, amazing glaze - this could easily be a main course with some rice. I might pop in the next time the missus is out and get this dish to take home! Pie of the day was outstanding, quality peppered steak and loads of it. Pork belly isn't my thing, but my better half said she thought it was delicious. Huge shout out to Ken who is a great ambassador for the business and really added to the whole experience of finding a great new venue to go out to. Can't wait to go back...although the bottomless brunch sounds like it require a long sleep afterwards!?!

Absolutely spot on Sunday Roast! We booked in for Sunday roast today, there was a great choice and it was busy when we arrived. Ken seated us to our table provided the menus and took our drinks order. Food was cooked fresh and was piping hot when it arrived. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese, absolutely fabulous! We asked for extra gravy which was delivered straight away and again roasting hot. The whole meal was delicious, we had the brisket of beef, chicken supreme and the lamb shank, all came with roasties, plenty of veggies, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing, great portion sizes would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Been here twice over the last couple of months with friends and on both occasions, the food and service were amazing. First time visiting I had the Chime chicken curry, which was absolutely delicious (proper homemade curry), second time I had the salt and pepper beef salad which again was delicious. Can’t fault them at all. Will definitely return again soon.

Visited with Friends on a busy Friday night, great beer and cocktails. Friends has the calamari and linguine while I had the salt and pepper burger with a side of fries. The science and engineering was a great pint and the food and service was great. Would recommend for a local great drinking and food place for the area.

For the last 5 years my wife and I have eaten in Chime. This time we decided to try their Sunday lunch We bother had the Lamb Shank with a portion of cauliflower cheese to share. Without any doubt this was one of the best lunches we have had for some time. It's just a shame that it is not better supported. I know there are a lot of eateries around us, but I doubt there are many better than this. We will be recommending to our foodie friends.

Went for a friends birthday which chime had kindly given their upstairs room to accommodate us. The food took a while to arrive however it was quite busy so didn’t think much of it. The waiter who mainly served us obviously just didn’t want to be there, literally walked around half asleep, I asked for a jug of water and he slapped it down on the table! I’d ordered the nautilus pizza which came looking dry, I understand they’re ‘authentic Italian pizzas’ but this was so dry I had to ask for some Mayo just to be able to eat it. My friends order came later than everyone else’s too. I don’t think I’d return for the pizza or the service of that one waiter however the main menu food looked delicious and the waiter with the glasses was lovely and couldn’t do enough, you could sense he was a little frustrated with his colleague!

Sorry to report it’s a no from my partner and I. Service good beer food but the food was not up-to what we expected. Burger very very mediocre and the curry not to be recommended.

Excellent Sunday lunch. The Humus starter was superb. The lamb shank brilliant. My wife's Belly pork succulent. All the accompliments, especially the Yorkshires where top notch.
