This was pricey, and the coffee was horrible. No atmosphere, too much attempt at style, very little substance. Customers were turned away at 3.30 pm despite cafe open until 4.00 pm and shop open until 5.00 pm (so they can 'clean down') obviously don't need the custom, despite us being the only ones there!! Would not return.

Have been to Sip a number of times for lunch and sat outside in the courtyard as I have two kids (4&2), which is why I come as there is space for my kids to play around whilst I’m with my friends/family, keeping everyone happy. I’m also hot on making my kids behave - especially if there are other people having lunch. Usually have a pleasant experience but unfortunately had a bad one today. I was asked by one of the staff members to make my kids sit down as they don’t want them to fall?? Two things: one - don’t tell me what to do with my kids, they are my responsibility and I didn’t see any danger. Two: the way she told me to make my kids sit down was appalling. She had such a sternness to her, coming across as very rude!! As a result of this we decided to leave. I left Sip on the verge of tears. I’m sick of people not understanding the needs of a family. We should have been made to feel at ease, not the opposite. We, unfortunately wont be going back. Customer service is everything to me and unfortunately this place got it very wrong.

In the heart of Pershore ‘Sip’ is a really comfortable cafe amongst a beautiful homeware and gift shop. The food is delicious. We had the chilli jacket potato with feta cheese and guacamole, plus beetroot side salad. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

SIP Coffee House & Patisserie Pershore Disappointing 846504212 I came in with my daughter and grandson for a snack and drink. Chose a cheese muffin but was told lunch had finished at 3. (It was 3.04) The muffin was not listed under Lunch on the menu it was listed under Cakes so that was confusing. We just ordered tea for 2 in the end. Nice big white teapot with ONE teabag in between us!!! At £5 it was hardly good value. No baby changing facilities although a high chair was available. I don’t think it would have hurt to have let us have a muffin. In the end they lost out because we didn’t eat anything! It was a shame because the garden was a lovely environment to eat out in and all nice and clean and tidy.

Wonderful little coffee shop tucked away in Persora. The Ploughman’s is exceptional and those new donuts are just fabulous. Throughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Lots of lovely choices - the croissants are amazing as are the cakes but what I did find disappointing was that the indoor seating area was closed - no reason given, and the toilet was ‘out of order’. I appreciate everyone is getting used to living in a ‘COVID world’ but when it’s a grey day I’d like to enjoy my coffee and cake without having to wear my coat because it’s cold. I’d also like to be able to access the toilet. Such a shame when the menu is lovely., it’s almost like they’ve forgotten about customer comfort and experience. Some small changes could make a huge difference.

Have used this coffee shop regularly as I live locally. Waitresses are generally really friendly. They don’t do decaf coffee and when my friend asked if she could pay for a coffee but use her own decaf instant she was told no. Ordered soup, this arrived very thick and gloopy. We asked if they could just add some hot water and the manageress/owner came back with the soup plonked it down with a jug of warm water. My friend looked a little taken aback and just said “hope we’re not being too much of a nuisance” was met with the reply with …”well between the coffee and this!…” then walked away. Very rude. My friend was quite upset. On the way out she had a quiet word with the Owner who brushed it off as a joke. Well it wasn’t. Maybe needs to be a little more friendly and helpful towards customers with health issues. We were nothing but polite to the waitress who was lovely, Feel any negative comments that will undoubtably be added to justify her behaviour will speak volumes. Shame as it’s a lovely shop and a lovely setting for the cafe.

Haven’t been here in ages. The garden is so pretty at the back of the shop. Friend and I arrived at 10am. Lovely selection of doughnuts and we had lattes. No decaf coffee today. Great to catch up and staff lovely that looked after us.

Has great expectations when we arrived as the garden was beautiful. Lovely helpful waitress, shame about the manager. When ordering the afternoon tea I enquired if I could replace the tea with a coffee, expecting to pay a little more but was told that was what it was, a kind of like it or lump it attitude. When the tea arrived the scones were hard , very dense. Having been asked by the lovely waitress, the manager came stomping up the courtyard to say they were fresh from the bakery that morning if that was the case I’d suggest she changed bakers as they were worth the money, fortunately we were refunded the extra afternoon tea, but wouldn’t return due to her attitude.

Revisited here since they reopened on lockdown and thought I’d rewrite a review. Still lovely service and cakes are beautiful as always! We also shared their new ploughman board and my gosh what a joy to behold! Thank you for a perfect visit to reconnect with my friend, we both throughly enjoyed it. Wishing you all the best for the future.

This cafe is new to the town, but seems to have found a niche. A good mix of tables inside and out. The cakes are excellent.

We visited here a few days ago after quite a few local businesses in the town recommended it and we were not disappointed! It’s tucked at the back of a shop called Persora (equally worth a visit!) and has lovely inside seating and garden space. Despite it being busy we were soon seated and seen too with full track and trace taken (something that other places in the town hadn’t done!!) and my god the coffee was probably the best I have ever had (a supreme fair trade bean as the server kindly showed us) and the patisseries to die for. I think it is important to note that this is not a cafe as such but a patisserie and coffee house and you shouldn’t go expecting lunch or a bacon sandwich. I know a few people have mentioned the toilets but it was explained that due to the current situation they are staff only for both their staff and customers safety which to be honest I think is perfectly acceptable and not the only place we’ve been where this is the case. Anyone mentioning this as a negative during this time is being a bit petty in my eyes (public toilets are nearby) and especially seeing how hard the staff were working and how much cleaning was going on in the first place. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again when we’re back in the area - it’s a gem of a place!

First popped into the Cafe on the way to the m50 for a pitstop about 12 months ago.oOn that occassion ordered a jacket potato with cheese. Took 40 mins and then it had cream cheese covered with a birds dropping size of hard cheese. Disgusting. Called in again this weekend as driver was hungry and ordered 2 lots of salad sandwich, a sausage roll and a slice of cake. Cost, 24.00. Asked for mayo but didn't have any. Sandwich consisted of two slices of dried bread and the salad was a lettuce leaf, a chunk of tomatoe and a slice of cucumber. Barely covered the meat but meat was OK, 2 slices of ham. Put together by a 4 year old by the looks of it. Cake was good though. However in future I will be using the mobile snack bar in the nearby lay-by if he's there next time I'm passing.

As a frequent solo diner around all of the Cotswolds, I have frequented many local eateries and have previously stayed at the Crown. Last night I thought I would indulge myself by dining there. I had two starters rather than one main. The service was excellent, the team were friendly and attentive and the food was 1st class!! Thank you Reece, you really are a top chef, funds permitting I may come back again tonight !!
