I ordered a too good to go bag from here for £5, so couldn't really complain when we got given about 5 different types of pasties for it. Pasties were ok, tasted nice, but i think having them hot would have been better. But like i said, for £5 for all that we got it wasn't to bad. Would have been nice to have less pasties and some cakes mind.

Had a vegetable Cornish pasty and it seemed to me to be a bit stodgy and smushy however the staff are very nice and it’s a good option for grab and go however being perfectly honest I have had better pasties in London

I like this shop, when you want a pasty in a hurry you can either go into the shop or go to the window counter. The pasties here are definitely to our liking, but watch out for those flipping seagulls!

The food smell from here is so mouth-wateringly good the pasties are beautiful so tasty and great value the selection is vast so enjoy a real Cornish pasty.

Expected fresh and tasty pasties made on the day. The filling just didn’t taste or look freshly made. Tasted like frozen or pre-prepared ingredients were used, the carrot colour was a giveaway. Sometimes the shortcuts begin to show, I’ve had nice pasties from supermarkets.

We purchased lunch here on sunday to enjoy over looking the harbour. Nothing overly special about the pasties, definitely not the best Cornwall has to offer however they were hot with plenty of filling. The staff were very friendly and welcoming

When we were walking past they were advising that all pasties were now reduced to £1.50 as it was near end of the day so we decided to purchase pasties, sausage rolls and cakes. Nice little bakery and had other choices of pasties if you don't want traditional.

Hello! We are very wealthy Europeans from Flemish land of Heighellander. Not usual to make holiday with English. We make good trip holiday to United Kingdom to see beach and how culture of little people live before leave for Brexit and island no one come to. Funny small place. Most every man and woman have moustache and man bald. We eat Corn Pastry famous from Corn Wall. Same some on motorway and train station. In Corn Wall, pastry just cold and less meat. Better to have calzone or maybe just frites au mayo.

The name says it all. Simply cornish. Pasty is good here but they could've been a bit more generous with meat like someone mentioned in of the the reviews. There are quite a few to choose from and this one isn't the best.

The small pasties are definitely not so traditional as they lacked much of the much loved meat in any traditional Cornish pastie, was manly potato inside and a teaspoon of mince meat. Thought I would give this place a go but don’t let the advertising outside fool you on this tourist trap.

First Pasty here and expected a lot as it's Cornwall. I suspect this place is ok but I think I ordered the wrong pasty. Had the Mexican chilli which was Vegan. Didn't enjoy it unfortunately but it's not fair to judge when I haven't tasted the other ones, the rest looked good.

We had missed lunchtime (due to having a large breaakfast) but grabbed a pasty each here and a few saffron buns (well, you just have to when in Cornwall, don't you???!! :) These were good and flavoursome - good meat content and perfectly cooked veggies in a good crust. The saffron buns were good too!!

We keep saying these are the best pasties in Cornwall then turn the corner and there's another pastie shop and often better than the previous one. Well worth to get a staek pasty and eat on the beach.

Had a Eton mess meringue and a large Cinammon roll, the meringue was delicious, the cinammon roll was on the dry side and had a slightly sour taste to it compared to others we have had.

Couldn't walk past without sampling a couple of the amazing meringues we saw nestled in the window - in fact we brought some home with us. Can paticularly recommend the passion fruit one.

We tried a good variety of pasties from a good number of outlets and these were fine, I tasted better but there was really nothing wrong with pasties from Simply Cornish

We visited this little shop in St Ives again while we were on holiday in Cornwall and bought some Cornish pasties and freshly baked scones made with clotted cream and butter and they were very tasty.

Went for the traditional Cornish pasty and was very disappointed with both the content and the texture. Poorest one I have ever had visiting the area.

Pasties brought to bring home with us after a family holiday, a huge hit and very yummy. Recommend, and they travel well if you buy them the day before or on the day you leave St Ives.

We love a pasty whenever we are on holiday in Cornwall and always make a bee-line for this shop in St. Ives. The shop is well laid out and everything is spotlessly clean.

We sampled their Cornish Cream Tea takeaway deal which included Scones, Clotted Cream, Jam and Hot Drink of your choice for £3.00 and it was really yummy. We also sampled the Saffron Cake as we walked in and decided to purchase some of this too and that was also yummy. Would definitely visit again.

There are great pasty makers in Cornwall and now that the Cornish pasty has received it's own European recognition one is less likely to be disappointed. However we keep going back to Simply Cornish on the Quay at St Ives as these are really stunning pasties. They came second in the recent world pasty competition held at the Eden Project. This time, having eaten our pasty on the Quay, we returned to complement them and ended up buying a dozen frozen pasties to take home with us.

This shop/bakery is on the harbourside in St Ives. It offers some of the cheapest Cornish paties in the town with a seemingly permanent 'two for £4' offer and there are often free samples to try inside. The pasties themselves are tasty and well seasoned; not the best but consistently decent. A good option for a lunchtime pasty in St Ives. Service is quick and pleasant.

We stopped for an ice cream while on the search for our car keys which we lost on the beach!! 🤦🏽♀️ The rum and raisin ice cream was AMAZING and no complaints from the kids and hubby with their choices! The lovely gent who served us got his wife Zara to help us with locating the keys which luckily where found and left at the RLNI across but was closed, she managed to find someone who got the keys So thank you so much for your help lovely people and for the ice creams! 🥰 wishing you all the best x

Been coming here for many years, it is an absolute joy every time we come for a meal. Today me and my mother came for afternoon tea and everything was delicious and delectable, as it always is. The service is absolutely flawless, all the staff are exceptional and extremely welcoming, especially the manager. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a perfect meal out.

Beautiful building. Amanda the barmaid/waitress was very helpful and friendly. My family had the ham egg and chips, which was outstanding. I had fish and chips, the fish was delicious and fresh. The puddings were sinful and beautifully made.

I will start by saying the restaurant did reduce our bill and throw in a few free extras but we were very surprised by the quality and portioning of the food. At the time the cafe was very quiet but the staff seemed a little bit chaotic. Orders not being put through properly, items missed off and not knowing what beer they had available. A couple of us ordered the chicken burger (£13) and my son had the kids version (£8.50) but his came with chips. I was pretty shocked when we both received exactly the same sized portion. A small bun, 1/2 a small chicken fillet and one piece of lettuce, not exactly worth £13. The staff did even comment that they there was an issue but still felt it was fine to serve and just expect people to pay. The pizzas were but ok but again surprised when we we charged £3 for 2-3 sliced olives as an extra. We've eaten at many other places up and down the coast and based on our experience we would not return.
