Simply Cheesecake in Gateshead

I’ve never been to the shop but always get cheesecakes from the quayside market on a Sunday. I’m vegan and gluten intolerant and the vegan, no gluten cheesecakes are incredible! Such a good range and just so lush! Couldn’t recommend more.

Visiting Newcastle for the first time, we walked through the quayside market on a Sunday and stopped at this market stall. What a lovely lady, genuine and caring. Not only does she do excellent cheesecake, but is the Newcastle unofficial guide to fabulous places to visit.

I met a friend here to have a catch up. The place is very basic, it is worth looking past this though as the cheesecake is great. There is a small seating area inside and out. I can’t comment on the savoury items available, but the place did seem popular. I’ll definitely return at some point to sample more tasty cake.

I took my elderly mum for lunch here, loved the garden at the side of the shop, lovely sheltered spot. We had a bagel and wrap both with avocado chicken and bacon - delicious, lots of filling. We shared a cheesecake, tasted like good quality home made and two coffees, nice and large. Everything was made fresh - I'd recommend a visit

Just called into this little gem of a bakery bought Mars bar slice cheesecake and cheese scones x I cannot say in words how beautiful and so so tasty these where x go try for yourselves u will not be disappointed x I’ve never had a cheese scone so cheesy x I will be going back x

I was so excited to see that Simply Cheesecake had started serving breakfast and lunch. It’s such a lush space, with a lovely big garden, and very child and dog friendly too. The menu is amazing! They have a really exciting vegetarian offering and a huge range of vegan options too, which is fab. The sandwiches and bagels are really good value - for less than £5 you get delicious filling combinations plus salad, coleslaw and crisps, and the kids menu is also fantastic. The only thing I can criticise is that once or twice when I’ve ordered the toasties, they’ve tasted a bit soapy which I think is probably a result of cleaning the machine really thoroughly…. So that’s probably a positive in these times we live in 🤣 keep up the delicious work!

Cheesecake was lovely Ice cream wasn’t the best If you’re mask exempt be prepared to be treat like a bio hazard and served at the door.

Stopped by as I had meant to for some time and I’m so glad I did. What a wonderful selection of cheesecakes. I settled for 4 for £10 which is such good value for money once you realise how beautiful they taste. I got a sweet mince pie slice, rhubarb and custard, strawberry shortcake and peach crumble. Everyone who I have a slice to were delighted and hope to make a trip there themselves. Thank you so much, I can’t wait to go back 5*

Cheesecakes from simply cheesecake are simply divine. You won't get a better slice of cheesecake in the North of England. Not only that but the prices are ludicrously low. An absolute bargain. If you want a quality, handmade cheesecake you need to get yourself to simply cheesecake.

Just visited the new shop on low fell high street. I have seen simply cheesecake at the food markets before and never fancied it for lunch - but popping into the shop to buy something on my way home in the evening is a different story. I will definitely be back soon!!! I had the Cadbury’s caramel cheesecake - it’s hands down the best cheesecake I have ever had. The choice of flavours for both set and baked cheesecake was amazing. The shop was clean / well presented and staff seemed friendly. A great experience I can’t wait to try more

Very poor quality. For 25 pound it cost could have got 10 from Aldi and they would have been better.

I picked a little gluten free cheesecake up a couple of months ago at a food market in Newcastle when I was visiting a friend. I have to say it was one of the best gluten free deserts I’ve ever had. So when I found out I’d be driving past their shop on the way back down to Leeds from a trip this weekend I just HAD to stop. Lovely service and the BEST gluten free cheesecakes EVER (I’d highly recommend the salted caramel one)!!

I have bought cheesecake from here since the business started and it is the best cheesecake I’ve had, the range of flavours is fab, I love the chocolate orange one the best! Yes they aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for and they are defiantly worth the money!

The most amazing treats going. We go up all the way from Northallerton to get these delicious cheesecakes as someone with a food intolerance it is especially exciting to have such incredible tasting treats. Filled the freezer to!

The Turkish Delight Cheesecake was lovely, there is a good choice and it is clear that the owner works really hard and she is really pleasant.
