Llegué al The Lamb and Flag con mi buen amigo e inmediatamente supimos que estábamos a punto de pasarlo muy bien. Fuimos servidos por un camarero encantador llamado Mathu y recibimos nuestros guinesses con tréboles y un corazón de amor! Recomiendo encarecidamente este pub si estás en el centro de Londres, los precios son increíbles también!

Went for a glass of wine with ice. Some stuff floating in wine on bottom to middle (not the ice) got a new glass. Second glass had the same problem. Then he insisted it was ice, it definitely was not looked like something small and gooey. (Not sediment) I said maybe ice is dirty. Would like a new glass without. He refused and said he would have to charge me for a new glass even if I didn’t even taste wine and it obviously was disgusting with junk floating around in it. Terrible. Left without a sip of drink but paid for one. -10 is my review

Tuve una experiencia absolutamente fantástica en The Lamb and Flag! Desde el momento en que entré, el ambiente era cálido y acogedor, con una mezcla perfecta de encanto tradicional y una multitud animada y acogedora. El personal era excepcional, amable, atento y claramente apasionado por el gran servicio. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa, ofreciendo excelentes recomendaciones y asegurando que todo estaba bien. Este es el Cordero y la Bandera en Westminster - hay otro “el cordero y la bandera” en el jardín de Covent, así que no quiero manchar injustamente su reputación confundiendo los dos pubs. Hemos tenido algo de comida y servicio realmente genial en una serie de pubs en Londres y sus alrededores - esta fue la excepción. Le daría a este pub cero estrellas si eso fuera posible. El personal del bar no podía estar menos interesado en ayudar, prefiriendo mirar sus teléfonos. Cuando me preguntaron si había sidra en el grifo, me dijeron que no solo observara la sidra en el grifo cuando vi bien la oferta de grifo. Cuando fui a pedir comida, el menú decía claramente que había artículos llamados “platos pequeños” y otros llamados “compartidores”. La pizarra de arriba indicaba claramente un especial en “sharers”, así que fui a pedirlo y me dijeron que el especial no estaba en shareers, sino en un número limitado de platos pequeños. Le pregunté a la persona del bar si podía aclarar esto ya que el tablero y el menú eran bastante claros. Supuestamente llamó a su manager y luego me dijeron que, no - los accionistas no son accionistas y no hay ningún especial en ellos. No, siento que hayamos cometido un error solo una mala suerte, no me importa la respuesta. No pedimos nada más y nos fuimos poco después. Ahorra tu dinero e vete a otro lugar.

Questo pub è storia ! Uno dei must londinesi dove poter bere ottima birra e chiacchierare , la cucina è discreta ma l'ambiente molto vivace lo rende davvero un posto unico. Provare per credere.

Ιδανική pub και για οικογένειες ! Ότι πρέπει για χαλάρωση και ξεκούραση μετά από τη βόλτα στην Oxford street . Ζεστό και φιλικό περιβάλον ευγενική και άμεση εξυπηρέτηση , παρόλο που πέσαμε στην ώρα που δεν υπήρχε service table . Πολύ καλό φαγητό για όλη την οικογένεια : Burgers , Τα εξαιρετικα παραδοσιακά πιάτα Fish and chips και Steak and Ale pie ( με μια πρωτότυπη για μας κρεατόπιτα ) . Οι μπύρες που δοκίμασαν οι μεγάλοι δροσερές και αρωματικές . Καθίσαμε στον πάνω όροφο σε ένα ευχάριστο περιβάλλον και με θέα που καταδυκνείει την παλαιότητα και την ιστορικότητα της περιοχής .

Tuve la suerte de parar aquí para tomar una pinta y aperitivo antes de cenar, conoció a Ves trabajando en el pub que nos cuidó mucho. Fenomenal hospitalidad, gran ambiente, comida y bebidas. ¡Ves rocas!

Este lugar es adorable. Una experiencia diferente en el pub con sus propias cervezas. Luke es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a un gran convo. El queso tostado a la parrilla vale cada libra.

Después de conocer bebidas aquí fue fantástico! Nos atendió un equipo encantador y un gerente que fue divertido y hizo que nuestra visita fuera agradable! Los asientos exteriores son impresionantes y nos han dado un buen lugar para sentarse y ver el mundo!

Qué increíble hallazgo, el personal era tan amable, el servicio excelente y bien la comida era increíble, solo tenía bocados ligeros, pero todos eran excelentes. Definitivamente volveremos.

This is a popular pub just off St Christopher’s place, so if you are eating, you might be wise to book. We picked food off of the ‘to share’ menu (3 or 5 dishes) and went for the five. The food was hot and delicious and plenty enough for a good meal for two. We especially liked the Japanese style sticky Korean chicken, well worth a try. Staff were friendly and attentive, we were asked two or three times if everything was okay, so no complaints at all. Would certainly re-visit when in London again.

Unfortunately we went to the wrong Lamb and Flag. The waitstaff seemed very angry and abrasive and the food wasn’t good. Ordered Chips and got Mashed Potatoe but didn’t want to challenge the angry waitstaff. The Mashed Potatoe was like dough - terrible. The Chicken was cooked a week ago. No atmosphere upstairs and really not interested.

Heerlijk gegeten met het gezin. We hebben met z’n vieren gegeten hier. Hebben verschillende gerechten besteld en alles smaakte heerlijk. Drankjes waren lekker. Bediening was prima en de ruimte (1e etage) is heerlijk rustig. Kom hier graag nog eens terug.

Went to this pub this Sunday afternoon with my mum and we had the best time here. Staff was friendly (specially the girl on the floor). We had late lunch and drinks and sat outside. Everything was nice and I'm looking forward to visit this pub again when visiting London.

Last Sunday, me and my friends we had Sunday Roast. It was delicious. The service was great and the staff was really friendly. Is really good to find in Central London, when I know that sometimes is really stressful being a very busy area, a perfect place with great food, happy environment and friendly staff. We will definitely came back and I will recommend this place to everyone.

Amazing pub!!! Great selection of food and drinks. Went for drinks with my bestie but we ended up ordering food as well just because the food around was was looking way too good. Compliments to the chefs and not only, great service as well. For sure we will be back soon!

Visited this pub on the 14th March 2024. Ordered the food at the bar and went to sit outside. The food took a long while to arrive and consequently was cold. Meanwhile the waitress was standing by the door smoking. Perfectly acceptable but not when customers are waiting. On reflection I should have raised my disappointment earlier. A guy come to us and I told him of the nad service and he said the manger was inside and he would tell him. Nothing was done. We have beennjere several times when in London but can safely say that was our last. Just to say the food was of good quality and probably would have been nice had it not been hanging around for ages.

Great pub just off of Oxford Street. Very busy with a mix of tourists and Londoners enjoying a couple of pints. Worth a visit if you’re in the area

Brilliant tranquil place just next to the noicy and crowded oxford street. St Christoffers place is really a hidden gem and the Lamb & Flag is really a nice place to rest your feet at. Stop just for a drink or have a traditional pub lunch … the fish and ships is excellent and the burgers is far better than average.

We stopped here for lunch during a shopping trip to London. The pub was very busy but we were able to get a table upstairs. We had a drink each and shared three small plates (fish goujons, halloumi, hummus) plus a portion of fries. This was plenty for lunch. Food took about 15 mins which was fine. Very tasty and hot. Fish goujons with grilled lemon wedge were exceptionally good. Great location just off Oxford Street. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Highly recommended when in the area. Great ‘traditional London pub’ experience.

I have to say, as someone who been a manager for central London pubs and know the Lamb & Flag extremely well, I wouldn’t even save my wage % on a Friday afternoon… of the staff are trained right, you can easily have 4 staff if not 5 working well around each other to be able to serve customers quicker… 2 staff behind the bar is bad management. People being served out of turn and you could see people getting annoyed. It’s a shame the lamb and flag has gone that way… sad to see really.

Waited for 20 mins to be served gave up and went elsewhere so can't really give a review. Advise employing casual staff until once a year drinkers have all gone home.

I went to this restaurant with my friends. We ordered two meals and three drinks (2 of which soft drinks) for £50. It was busy and the waiter simply brought our food and then rushed off. He did not ask if we needed salt, pepper, ketchup etc. He did the same for the other table next to me. We waited for 5 or so minutes and he never returned. We had to go downstairs to a very busy bar and wait to ask whilst our food was getting cold. When the waiter returned to bring our friends their food on our table, which arrived 15 minutes later despite ordering at the same time, I mentioned the situation to him and explained that we had to traipse across the pub to find what we needed. I tried to do this politely as I could see they were busy but I felt this was a basic part of restaurant service. He laughed in my face and acted passive aggressively. This made the atmosphere tense and ruined the meal. I explained that I had paid £50 for two meals and three drinks, and having salt and pepper offered was not an unreasonable request. Clearly angry he left. The table next to us also had the same experience, and not wanting to mention this to the waiter they had to share our condiments. My friend ordered pie and mash and they did not bother to inform him that there was no mash and just gave him chips. When he asked if his food was coming soon when it had not turned up for 15 minutes after ours had arrived the waiter rudely said that this was why he was here and then brought the food. The food was nice, but the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never had a waiter laugh in my face for raising something so obvious and straightforward.

Busy pub for after work drinks. Last visit was plastics only but was explained that they’re glasswasher was awaiting repair. Staff apologetic but not their fault. Will always pop in when in the area

We stumbled across this cute pub on our date night and was served by Olivia who gave the best experience ever - very friendly and professional. The drinks were 10/10 and also shout out to Gaurav for the great service. We’ll be back :)

This is the best place that you can enjoy your evening through winter and summer thanks to the heaters outside and amazing staff who will great you with a smile. Especially Ellie, Nathan and Mo. Massively recommended!!!

Just between Bond Street and Oxford street this is a traditional English pub which makes a good stopping point between shopping, it has seating outside and looks small inside but there is more seating upstairs.
