I came across this little gem of a cafe accidentally and was so glad I did. As it was later on in the day I had a decaf which was superbly smooth and had a great flavour. And the chocolate brownie was to die for. Plus super friendly and really quick service. I totally recommend this place!

What an amazing find ! This little coffee bar is nestled in meat terraced lined roads and is 9 minute walk from Watford junction train station. The barista knew more about coffee than the number of Sundays I have lived ( I being 70 years old & all) The atmosphere was that unique one of a tiny establishment which makes you feel at ease in chatting to fellow coffee drinkers. The coffee was beautifully poured , rich , flavoursome and sumptuous. My companion and I ate a blackcurrant cake , soft bagel and crispy fresh sourdough cheese and tomato toastie. It went down a treat and was most welcome in our stop off round the M25.

Love this place! Fab hidden gem of a coffee shop, the people are so friendly and the coffee and drinks selection is great. The muffins are tasty but more vegan options is the only thing that would make it even better!

Atmosphere it's in a library what do you think? A quiet place to browse a book before deciding whether to take it home. Food and service are great. It is a charity cafe run by Watford Mencap.

Yesterday was a game of 2 half’s. We set out early to go and watch the last game of the season at Mansfield Town as we are season ticket holders, but a broken down car on the M1 made the journey time mean that we would not be making the game. We made the tough decision to turn around and head home. We went for a walk with the dog instead and decided on a few pints while watching the game on the phone at The Riffle. The amazing bar man saw what we were doing and then offered to put the game on the big screen for us. I couldn’t believe our luck. What a superstar. We then watched the whole game and by the time the game had finished, the pub was packed with a great atmosphere. I can’t thank you enough. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰
