Me and my wife visted this cafe twice and both times we have been very pleased we did. All the staff are very plesent and very helpful. Nothing is to much trouble. The food is very nice and cooked well. The whole place is spotlesly clean. I would definitely recommend to any one to go.

Called in to Sleaford on way home from holiday and found this little gem while wandering down the Main Street in Sleaford. Lovely food, lots of sensible choices on the menu, nothing poncy. Lots of choices of all day breakfast, which always go down well with us. The menfolk had pancakes and bacon, I had a medium breakfast, love the fact you can choose different items for the breakfasts. Great portions and decent prices, would definitely recommend, thank you.

My husband and I popped in for the first time for breakfast on Monday morning. Wow! Spacious, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, extensive menu, quick service, massive portions, delicious food! Amazing!!We'll be back! One small criticism.. The appearance of the menu doesn't match the place, the menu looks cheap and tacky. A natural coloured, simply laid out menu, with no pictures would look much nicer on the tables.

We’ve been here a few times before, admittedly not for a few years, with covid and other things.. So we needed to go near to Sleaford today, and decided to go back there for lunch. Always had a really good meal before. Less so today, unfortunately. I had the mince beef and onion pie, chips a huge amount of peas, and gravy. The pie was completely covered in gravy, and the pie had been microwaved, so the pastry was very chewy, and hard to cut. The chips were oven chips. Not very nice at all, l left half of it. My husband had 3 lamb chops, chips, onion rings and a grilled tomato. The lamb was very tough, he left 1 of the chops. He said the only good thing on the plate were the onion rings and the tomato. On the plus side. It was very clean, and the staff are efficient and friendly.

A genuine welcome. All on one level. Accessible toilet. Sit in or takeaway. Banana 🍌 longboat wow. Breakfast menu perfect.

Thought I was walking into a greasy spoon cafe but completely surprised! Could not be any cleaner, everything looks brand new. Staff were well presented and and made you feel very welcome. Just had a snack and coffee but delicious nonetheless. Will make this our refreshment stop for future visits to Sleaford.

We discovered this great cafe by chance while walking around Sleaford. Great menu choice and generous portions. Decent honest prices and great value. Staff attentive, friendly and highly efficient. Huge tick in the box - smashing!

Silverspoon has very prompt and polite staff the cafe is clean and the food is lovely .i have been in quite a few cafes in sleaford and i have always had a grumpy waitress in the cafes that i have been in and they seem to treat there regulars better but i find the staff in silverspoon treat all there customers the same which is very refresshing

Friendly service at first, then found when i quiried a menue for vegetarian breakfast! I asked why they didn't do sausages the waitress said we do plenty of variety vegetarian meals! Which consists of the same thing vegetarian burger!! With chips, egg, omelette, salad, or cheese panini. I Would suggest you,ve got everything else for a English breakfast its no hardship getting vegetarian sausages!! and the cold reception at the end when paying for just asking for vegetarian breakfast!! Made us uncomfortable. If I was in business I would consider just having a few sausages in!! You may get more customers asking in future for vegetarian breakfast, we went to market square cafe cheeper, friendlier, vegetarian breakfast available!!!.

A great place to eat in Sleaford without breaking the Bank, good food at reasonable prices, pleasant welcoming staff, very clean and spacious seating, in addition very clean toilet facilities, this is a very well run establishment. The Menu can be viewed online.

Myself and husband visited Silver Spoon on Sunday for breakfast. This was our first ever visit and wow we were throughly thrilled and filled with the delicious food that we were served. The cafe was super clean the food was delicious with very generous portions, the food looked and tasted clean and fresh and wasn’t greasy at all. The staff were lovely and nothing was to much trouble. The gentleman that stood at the front counter when he wasn’t busy sorting the Uber eats orders was very kind and professional. Thank you for a lovely breakfast and experience and thank you for the Hot chocolates. We will definitely be back.

We go here at least once a week. the place is spotless including the toilets. I've never seen the laminated menus wiped after each customer but it is customary at SS. The coffee is the best I have tasted and always hot. We eat there occasionally and the food is fast and tasty. All the staff are efficient and very friendly.They are always willing to help customers, especially the elderly or people with prams where they are made very welcome.

The staff are very attentive, they are very friendly & the establishment is ultra-clean. Their food is excellent too !

The dining room is a very clean well organised and professionally run environment. The breakfast selection is great. Needless to say if you're hungry you'll not be disappointed with the excellent plate-full.

We called in for a snack on our way up the UK on tha A1M and stopped off in Sleaford which was close by. It was very busy, but we found a table straightaway and were served almost immediately. There was a very good selection of morning food. My only quibble is there was only a very small slice of bacon on my bacon roll. The staff were very hard woroking, constantly serving and cleaning.

Called in with a friend for lunch on the recommendation of a lady working in nearby shop. Menu great for us as many of the food choices had pictures and my friend cannot verbalise her preferences but found the panini straight away! I had a jkt potato which they were happy to provide without butter, beans and salad - both panini and potato were generously sized & much enjoyed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.

I often come here for a fried breakfast. The standard filter coffee is the best in town and worth a visit just for a cup!

Each time we visit this restaurant we experience excellent service, good food and coffee. The staff are very welcoming and the service is prompt. Well recommended and reasonable prices.

It appears you have a large portion, you truly do not. I paid over £7 for chips, and half a ladle of chilli, if that.

Warm and freindly atmosphere with polite staff and reasonly priced food. Menu had plenty of choice and quantities.

My wife and I have often popped into the Silver Spoon since we retired to Ruskington in 2016. We were initially impressed with the cleanliness of the cutlery which is a detail we look for in any restaurant.

Great place for breakfast ( but food also looks good for anytime of day) open early 8 am.Lots of choices on offer.Super clean.Friendly and efficient service and good prices.

Visiting Sleaford so popped in for a spot of lunch. Cafe appeared clean & waitress pleasant. I had the liver & bacon, chips & peas. When it arrived the couple of fried rashes of bacon were just put on the side not with the liver & gravy. My biggest disappointment was the peas were stone cold bordering on still frozen!!!!! I told the waitress who didn’t seem too concerned however did apologise, but said she would tell the manager. Our party had ordered lasagne which was barely edible.

Most impressed with the staff and cleanliness.. it's not posh nosh just a great cafe with well presented,well cooked food. Considering there is a Wetherspoons up the road with a really cheap offer I would choose this for it's family friendly,safe and clean offer.

Ok out for a change at Sleaford had a look round the shops (ect ) then thought about a place to go for dinner then found this Cafe and Restaurant SILVER SPOON it first was very very clean the Staff was most helpful it is very disabled friendly well set out nice bright and quite good table wise as i disabled plenty leg room the meal wen it came was well set out on the plate and hot i my self think this place should have a EXELANCE RAITING FOR ITS VERY Hygiene,Staff,Food,Toilets,Price.and Service they also do a takeway They Have a very Wide Menu to choose from THIS IS A FIRST TIME HEAR FOR US and we will be back

We called in for lunch during a day trip & we had a lovely bacon panini with salad on the side. The waiting time was very short & the staff were extremely pleasant.The cafe was spotlessly clean & the toilet facilities were very good. We will definitely come again.

Temperature in high twenties ,actually found this cafe with air conditioning,!! Extensive menu,chioses of baked potatoe with cheese and a ham and,cheese omelette served with salad, quickly produced. Consider a marketing opportunity was missed,should have advertised air conditioning, “The coolest cafe in Sleaford”

Serves great tea and cake, Loads of seating in a beautiful town on the main road. Service good and easy going only down side is it's a bit pricey but other than that great cafe

We needed a cuppa to finish off our shopping day in Sleaford, we found the Cafe open till 6 pm. Friendly people and good service. We looked over the menu and will pop in another day for a meal. Thanks for being open late and we hope you have success in 2018.

Myself and my husband normally pop in on a Saturday for brunch. And have done so for the past 18 months. It’s always busy but not too busy that you don’t get a personal touch food is always lovely and prices are reasonable.

Everything and more you would expect from a coffee shop/restaurant. Fantastic menu serving a variety of dishes all very reasonably priced. The portions are absolutely huge. They cater for children too. The staff are very friendly. And the restaurant and kitchen area is very clean.

I popped in for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised. It's very spacious and I had a cappuccino which was lovely and inky £2. And waiter service too. Much better than the big coffee chain up the road!

This is a very nice cafe and the food was good with friendly service. The cafe was very clean and the staff thoroughly wiped the tables when clearing them. The prices were also very good.

First went in thinking of having a sandwich on a Sunday afternoon. As we walked to our table I noticed a lot of people having a roast dinner. It looked quite nice, so we opted for a beef and a chicken roast dinner. After a 10 minute wait we got stuck in, but neither of us could finish the dinner due to the size of the portion. The plates are bigger than a standard dinner plate and they filled it up. The dinner was piping hot and tasty. Two roast dinners and two cokes for £17 and we were very pleased. Will call in again.

Breakfast was average. Papers to read service was good. Not the best breakfast in town but okay. Clean and bright surroundings.

I tried here because everywhere else doing breakfasts was closed, over priced and poor quality meat. Cheap sausage X1 in a bun, and the bacon in the other was tinged with green and the roll greasy. Long wait, expensive and poor quality. It is clean and nice looking inside but it's a no for me.

Don't walk past! Spotlessly clean, good range of voice very quick and piping hot. Good hot coffee not the usual lukewarm. Throughly recommend.

After a heavy night out we were wandering down Sleaford High St and came across this cafe. It was busy (always a good sign) and we were shown to am empty table. A waitress took our order and brought us cups of tea!

Stopped in Sleaford and came here for breakfast before a long drive home. Had the cooked a breakfast, there was lots of variations to choose from, absolutely gorgeous. The staff are friendly and not pushy, and the prices are good.

This is a wonderful cafe. Staff are amazing friendly and helpful, food is excellent and the cafe itself is always warm and comfortable even in the depth of winter. Most important it is so Clean. You always get a good welcome. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my Americano and bacon sandwich. The full English breakfast are delicious and cooked to perfection.

The silver spoon has massive menu, I have only had a breakfast. The breakfasts are a reasonable quality, though I haven't tried the sausages. The coffee is good and better than you would expect in a local café where many don't have a coffee machine and will service only instant coffee. The staff are always very pleasant.

If your hungry, you'll be well fed. We live local to this cafe but i hadn't visited before. Needing somewhere for a late lunch we thought we would give it a go.... All 9 of us.The portions are very good value for money, if your really hungry have an omelette or jacket potato with salad. One of the group did ask for extra meat on the roast but the staff accommodated​ that quickly and the rest of us were very happy.Clean and tidy environment and even offered to pull tables together if preferred. Highchairs available if needed. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, she read back the full order and even asked what they kids were allowed before asking them as they sat on a separate table which I thought was very good. A lolly pop on the way out of the door and very full tummies, delicious!!!

Probably about my 6th visit to this cafe. The food is always fresh, hot and plentiful and good value. Staff very pleasant and polite, always seem to be smiling too. Highly recommended.

We recently went to the Silver Spoon in Sleaford after our local Sweet Vienna closed down. My wife and myself had the Builders breakfast. It was ok but nothing special. Also a bit pricey. Pleased with the mushrooms not being over cooked but the bubble(we asked for a swap)was quite small. We were surprised that tea & coffee was not included in the price. We did also have a hot drink which in our opinion was reasonably priced. Taste of breakfast was ok but nothing extraordinary.Would we come again?Perhaps but we wouldn't make a special journey.

We go for breakfasts on weekends, and can't fault it as we rarely have whats on the menu. The staff are always polite and the resturant is spotlessly clean as are the restrooms. Best coffee in town.I recommend the fried bread.

What a Lovely Place , spotlessly clean , lovely and warm on the coldest of days , smartly dressed staff serving wonderful Latte which we had , great Breakfasts and everything else . Easy to see how popular this place is with locals and strangers alike , the portions are very good , the food is hot on arrival at the Table with hardly any waiting involved , and everything was five star . Highly Reccomended we will be back on our next visit to Sleaford , This place is a Little Gem

Living in the town and not having tried it before I thought I would try the full English breakfast, seeing as it came with only one sausage I ordered it with extra sausage. Meal came very quick and service what you expect pleasant. Ordered a coffee which I thought would come with my breakfast? So to the meal loads of mushrooms that's OK if you eat lots of them, two hash brows a tomato cut in half one piece of bacon and a fried come boiled egg? No toast no beans and very little flavour it felt I was just eating nothing the sausages looked lovely just no taste which when I had finished I was thinking what have I just eaten. I won't have a breakfast again there especially at £9 for the pleasure and there is far far better places to have an English in the town, but will try them again for a lunch and see what we think of that.

Went in for a spot of lunch which wasn't planned. It was busy but not too full.Waitress service and we were asked what we wanted to drink straight away and then left to peruse the menu. Our mugs of tea were brought over, it was a good strong cuppa. Our order was taken. We both had a bacon panini which came with a small salad, although I felt the salad could've been fresher, the bacon was absolutely gorgeous and I'd definitely go back. It only came to £9.40 for two teas and 2 panini's which I thought was a bargain!

An excellent place to eat and surprisingly cheap. Breakfast was excellent and huge. A good selection of breakfast items on the menu, and nice selection of main meals. I had lasagne and lots of chips which was very tasty.

I went in for a drink a quick bite and to be out the sun. Sadly I ended up having one drink and a quick bite that I could have gotten out of one of those caravans you come across parked in laybys. The staff are very quick and not in a good way. Also the second I had sat down I had someone asking for my order. I hadn't even picked up the menu. I chose quickly as I was being rushed and was very disappointed. My meal was plonked in front of me by a waiter with dirty nails. I was then left. No one asked if there was anything else I would like or how my meal was. On attempts to get the staffs attention I was smiled at politely as they walked past me. In the end I got up paid more than I thought reasonable and walked out. I will not be going again and unless you are a regular I suggest you don't either as only the regulars are actually treated like they should be there.

After a morning family swim and feeling peckish, we found this café. It was very clean, had friendly staff and the food was hot and delicious. We would all recommend this restaurant.

As cafes go the Silver Spoon on Sleaford main high street is good. It is spotless inside and the staff are attentive, efficient and always polite. The food is the usual array of cafe type menu choices and is freshly but quickly cooked and served. The manager seems to always be front of house, 7 days a week, and remembers your usual drink: even after only a couple of visits. There are daily papers on hand, free to read. A full english is about £5.

Nipped in for lunch with my hubby during my lunch hour. We were served immediately, our meals (a roast beef dinner and a burger with chips) arrived within 10 minutes of ordering and were delicious. Prices were very reasonable and you do get good value for money. An absolute gem when you are on a time limit.

I have visited this establishment a few times now when catching up with family members and each time I have been very pleased with the service and facilities. On all visits, there have been a variety of people ranging from families, individuals, friends and older adults dining. I haven't yet visited with children, but other groups have and there is plenty of space around the tables to use the high chairs they provide. The staff are very attentive and are a real credit to this business - service with a smile and all that! Food and drink is served quickly, made freshly and is always piping hot. I have yet to try one of their all day breakfasts, but will visit again to do this. What impressed me most was the cleanliness of the place and the toilets are spotless. The toilets also have space to change babies and young children. Definitely a place to try if you are looking to meet friends or family members.

I popped into Silver Spoon as I had read decent reviews on TA. I chose the Builders breakfast for a not-cheap £5.90 and had to pay extra for a mug of tea. Service was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient - thank you!The food was generally pretty good. There was a manly mountain of piping hot chips, a very nicely fried egg and loads of juicy mushrooms.The bacon was something of a letdown, small rashers and terribly over-salty.But it was the sausage that really decided this cafe's score, and ensured that I won't be visiting again. It was one of the very worst bangers it has been my misfortune to sample either at home or out and about. The skin is collagen and nasty. The filling was not really recognisable as pork meat and more resembled over-chilled grey custard. It squished through the fork in a disgusting way, and I only ate the very smallest amount I could to be able to make a considered judgement. Utterly foul.So overall this cafe is half-decent, but DO NOT eat the sausages.

We have been to the Silver Spoon 3 times now on visits to Sleaford. The breakfast is really lovely, The service is great and they are very friendly. It has a nice atmosphere and the toilets are spotless.Will definitely be visiting again next time we're in town.

Popped in for coffee and a late-morning breakfast. Clean, warm, inviting, plenty of space, friendly welcome, helpful and cheerful staff who use their initiative. Coffee reasonable, breakfast excellent (with the only reservation that a high-quality, real, herby Lincolnshire sausage would have lifted it to the magnificent!).Enjoyed my visit and breakfast. Will certainly go again.

We stopped off for a quick coffee but liked the clean layout and the menu so we had food. Can't fault the overall quality although I would always prefer to pay a little extra for a proper sausage. Toilets were spotless

My mum and I popped in for a coffee and some food having never been to the town before and immediately greeted warmly. The ladies serving were attentive, polite, paid us suitable attention but also left us to chat after our meal.The food was great value , very large portions, well presented and tasty; from what I could see if the kitchen that looked organised and clean. The place is spotless. It puts Costa /Starbucks/ anywhere else to shame!The toilet facilities were immaculate. Would definitely go back there if I have to visit sleaford. Silver spoon and staff should be really pleased with itself /themselves!!!

Have visited a few times now and never fails to disappoint. The portions are big and good value for money. They offer a fantastic Roast dinner and lots of other menu choices all of which is lovely and served very quickly. Ideal for when you want to nip for food without having to book.

Went there with a few friends for a coffee, which turned into lunch. The dining room was just about full, but did not appear to be noisy, so acoustics must be quite good (which is so important). The food was tasty, good portions, served with a smile and in a short amount of time. Add to that, the fact that the restaurant is very clean and you have a great place to go to for a bite when you're in town.
