Not sure why I'm rating atmosphere in a takeaway lol Foods always good and freshly prepared

Tasty food. A bit on the expensive side but worth it. Would recommend the munchies box 😋

Just received a delivery from this place. Was a little unsure with the negative reviews and where on our holidays so don't know any where else. The food was absolutely outstanding and even the woman on the phone was really polite. Definitely recommend and will definitely return on our next holiday

Beef & prawn curry - watery Deep fried chilli chicken - soggy Meals were not fresh in my opinion

Delivered just before 7pm, in the bin just after 7. DO NOT order the salt and pepper munch box, absolutely rank, over cooked rubbish, not sure which end the little bit I ate will leave by, at the moment,it’s bouncing between them both!!! Never Again!!!!!

We ordered a takeaway because of good reviews but unfortunately it was simply dreadful and hardly ate any of it. Never to be revisited.

Take-away Chinese hidden down side of building, great food

I'm a Hongkonger who is doing a road trip. I found this place when I passed the town. I have to say their Singapore rice noodle is better than most of the restaurants in HK. Free prawn cracker is given too. Thank you very much for saving my day.

Recently ordered them to deliver as I was at my daughters in town. Was totally shocked at how much it cost. It says £2 delivery service. But that means £2 on every item.!! Food is nice, but having been totally ripped off. We going else where from now on.

Decided to have a takaway for a change. My wife said her Thai green curry was really really nice. My szechuan wasn't spicy, more like a sweet and sour but tasted nice. The salt and pepper chips on the other hand had a ridiculous amount of salt on them, so much in fact I couldn't eat them.

Ordered 3 lemon chicken and 3 portions of chips . Chicken was very stringy and tough.

Great take away hot and cooked well price very competitive great friendly helpful staff will be going back to taste something else on the menu thanks

It's not the takeaway that I visited it was The Attic a secondhand shop . Good size and good prices.

I'd like to give 0 stars, but can't. We ordered for our family on-line, having first checked with the website it allowed delivery to our holiday post code, which it did. After ordering, and having a beer, they rang to say could not deliver to our area. No-where on the site did it say delivery postcodes restricted, and we are only 12 minutes away from them. I explained we could not collect as having had alcohol and only 12 mins drive, and that their site was clearly missing key information and they still refused to deliver.

Best takeaway in penrith maybe even Cumbria.. Great food

The meal was dry no taste to it chips were dry and over cooked as well as the spring rolls best bit were the prawn crackers wud no recommend

Found this place on a Google search. Turned up and looked closed but don't be fooled the takeaway is up the side of the building. Food about the best we've had in a long time. Portions are generous and the chips were the tastiest we've had from a Chinese takeaway. In fact we were that impressed we went back the following night. My adult son is a vegan so has vegetable dishes and very fussy. He said it's the best sweet and sour vegetables he has ever had. Will definitely go back when we next visit

Superb Food, Fantastic Service if I could give it more stars I would. Food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing. I can definitely recommend the Salt and Pepper Chips (No Batter) and Salt and Pepper Shredded Chicken. If holidaying in this area again I would definitely come back.

Tenga mucho cuidado al pedir un curry hoy en día desde aquí. Básicamente consiste en el producto pedido más grandes trozos de cebolla y una salsa de curry aguada. Severo. Además, el dulce y amargo de esta noche consistió en muchas bolas y muy poca carne. El perro incluso se mostró reacio. Severo.

Best chinese in penrith. By a long way

Strange place (round the back of an industrial estate building) but really good food. Highly recommend the chicken in honey chilli sauce

Teníamos una comida para llevar, y las raciones eran bastante grandes, la comida en sí era muy normal para decir lo menos. Tuve un curry de carne y mi esposa tenía pollo dulce chili. No son los peores chinos que hemos tenido, pero tampoco están cerca de los mejores, hay mejores en Penrith. Además, no es el lugar más fácil de encontrar, ya que se encuentra en un polígono industrial.

Use este lugar regularmente durante muchos años. En general, la comida es buena. Obviamente, hay algunos dirigibles menores a lo largo de los años, pero en general son bastante buenos. La ofrenda de esta noche fue una de las mejores. Chow mein de langostinos y chow mein especial más dos porciones de curry. Ambos platos completamente limpios. Solo un pensamiento de que gastar 20 ish podría empujar a una pequeña porción de galletitas de gambas como solían hacerlo. También una mención para el repartidor. Siempre agradable y si a veces un poco tarde tiene una excusa plausible. Debe ser el repartidor más largo de nuestra área. Buen material

Estábamos buscando una comida china para llevar que llegaba a alturas de agua ull y fue recomendada por el personal que vive localmente. La señora del teléfono y el conductor de la entrega fueron muy amables y se entregó en unos 40 minutos por un cargo de 3. 60 Puedo recomendar todos los platos de sal y pimienta, especialmente las costillas y la carne de res en pimienta negra. No estoy seguro de cómo el crítico anterior encontró que las porciones eran pequeñas, típicas o incluso más grandes que los tamaños de porción típicos, no pudimos terminarlo todo. Definitivamente volverá a ordenar la próxima vez que esté aquí.

Turned up last week just as they were shutting (im a truck driver ) they shouted me back opened the shop and cooked me dome delicious spare ribs fantastic place

Love how I neither live nor work round these parts yet whenever I pop my face in the lady always remembers my face. Canny food, reasonable priced for these parts.

Great Chinese takeaway, fod always delicious and always fast to deliver, as oy Chinese that delivers in penrith it's also very handy. Had several dishes from here and never disappointed, truly a great place for that weekend take away.

I only just discovered this place and its a lil hidden treasure. Lovely chinese food, decent portion sizes and even do kids meals and i think its the only chinese in penrith that delivers too

I will never be ordering anything from silver ocean again. We had Singapore chowmain ; which is supposed to be spicy which it wasn’t ;it lacked taste all together.. also ordered chips which were stone cold and looked like they were reheated from the night before. Very disappointed as this was recommended... we will not be ordering from you again

Hot&Sour soup taste off. Main meal was very plain, unseasoned and look pore. Hopefully next T&A meal will match the standards.

They are pretty good and they deliver which is nice. I recommend the mussels in garlic sauce!
