Popped in for a couple drinks, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, all very happy and helpful! Will definitely be back in again soon:)

Oscar, our waiter, was really friendly, and couldn't apologise enough for us waiting for desert. Jayne behind the bar is really friendly and more than happy to talk to you x Our steak and scampi was amazing as usual x

We recently used the signal box for my dad's funeral and the staff and the buffet they laid on was fantastic...the food was great and the amount they put on was unbelievable...the staff couldn't be more helpful....my dad was a regular there and the staff loved him....so thank you again to the wonderful staff....

We chose the signal box for my father in laws wake, I can honestly say the staff was amazing and they couldn't do enough for us. The food buffet was superb, there was plenty of food for everyone (cold and hot food), everyone that was there was very impressed. (which was over 100 guests). They also set an area for a wake table for photos and flowers and put the music we had put together through their sound system. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion or just to pop in for a few drinks. Thank you for everything you done for us. From the Finlay family ❤️

My mum had a lunchtime baguette with chicken on and cheese,the baguette could have been used as a policeman's truncheon it was rock hard very dry 2 of us had the ham cheese toasties topped with egg I think they just toast bread then pit together not melted at all like a proper toastie gammon was great but the rest very poor

Not been to this pub/restaurant for years. Decided to call in today after the school run. Very impressed. The young man behind the bar explained the offers etc to me including kids meals. All meals came out prompt hot and tasty. Children really enjoyed theirs. Will definitely return.

I’ve never wrote a review about any meal before but I feel I have to as I’ve never eaten such a terrible meal if my life (and I’m 52 years old) !!! My daughter was having new tyres over at Formula 1 garage and we thought while we wait I would treat her to a spot of lunch. TREAT???? I was appalled by the standard. Yes I know it was cheap pub grub but I was trying to think how someone could actually cook up something so bad. My daughter had chicken skewers, corn on the cob and jacket potato. The chicken skewers had no colouring to them and was almost like they were boiled in a bag with an inedible slimy textured chicken (debatable if it was chicken) the 2 skewers lay on a skillet type plate which had a frozen microwaved chopped peppers and onions (to describe these, I ask you to picture a bag of frozen chopped peppers and onions from farm foods, microwaved and thrown on the skillet) they tasted awful and mushy texture) the jacket potato and corn were both edible to be fair (not the best). I had half a roast chicken which was the size of a sparrow and grey in colour with not any colour to it at all!!!! Vile!!! Imagine a boiled piece of chicken (no meat on it at all it was that small!!! jacket potato and side salad was again just about edible. I wish now I’d taken photos! WELL DONE TO CHEF MIKE!! (Microwave) …. Will never ever eat here again even if it was free!!!! £28 of hard wasn’t money for extremely VILE food … I wrapped the chicken skewers up and took them home for my dog (who eats anything). … guess what? He wouldn’t even eat it! I’ve given a one star because that’s the minimum I can give!!! It’s actually ZERO stars from us!!!! I couldn’t serve up such terrible food it I tried to!

Amazing food, quick service, friendly staff This is the 4th hungry horse restaurants we have been to and the best by far. Found the service and food much better quality then the Walsall hungry horse which we thought was good. Definitely will be returning. Thankyou Craig and team for a lovely lunch and cocktails.

Craig served us, grandparents with two grandsons, drinks and food all as described on the menu, quickly and efficiently. The kids were treated as politely and kindly as if they were adults, will bring them again.
