Excellent restaurant with generous portions. Very reasonable price for Glasgow. I recommend especially for spicy dishes!

One starter, two mains came to £50. Food was disgusting.

Horrible. I ordered steamed fish off uber eats just before I broke my fast. The fish came on time but had so much oil. The worst part was the fish had pork in it. You would not expect steamed fish to come with pork. I'm Muslim. This horrified me. So I called the restaurant to my surprise the woman who picked up the call was absolutely rude about it. Terrible service terrible food terrible staff.

Absolutely terrible service from what should have been a good restaurant. Phoned to order a takeaway, call was answered by a girl who had no interest in listening to the order. Was rushed throughout the call and felt as though I was a hassle to her throughout the call. On collection of takeaway order we noticed one of the meals and the rice was incorrect on the receipt which we pointed out to the blonde girl behind the counter. We were originally told we HAD ordered the meal and once we continued to dispute this the girl grabbed our bag and began throwing it around whilst trying to un-tie the knotted carrier bag. She angrily took our meals out of the bag shuffling around for seemed like an age to get the wrong meal out. I tried to put her at ease by saying it’s ok mistakes happen etc; but she continued to be ignorant and rude. Once she sent the dish to the kitchen to be replaced she left the rest of our order (£50+ order) on the counter getting cold. We went to the restaurant at 6.30pm, it took until 6.55pm for them to replace one meal. As expected the rest of the order was lukewarm, the green beans were wilted and completely inedible when we got them home. The manager came to us whilst we waited and shouted “what’s your problem” at me to which I replied “nothing at all I’m just waiting on my order” . None of the staff apologised or cared that the service was atrocious and both the staff that interacted with us implied that we were somehow at fault for the inept actions of the girl behind the counter. We have been before and planned on going again but that has changed now owing to the way we were treated for simply ordering a meal on a Saturday night! New management needed!

I called specifically and said I needed tableware. The store confirmed it and then refused to deliver it? ? Should I eat it with my hands?

The food was amazing, and we had excellent service too! The sea scented aubergines, ma po tofu, chilli soft shell crabs, dan dan noodles and pot stickers were all a great hit! We enjoyed the crispy chilli beef and the chicken gizzards with cumin, but the beef was a bit too sweet to our tastes and the gizzards (unsurprisingly!) too chewy. However, the vegetarian choices were very limited. Great prices, at £150 to fill a hungry family of six!

Repeat visit to the restaurant after a couple of years being back in Glasgow. Great food, service and value for money. Obviously used a lot by far Eastern communuty in Glasgow. Note - restaurant added service charge to bill.

Food was good .. brilliant service nice place. Worked out at £40 per head but that's our fault we ordered way too , we asked to get packed and take home.had we not oreded too much it would of worked out at approx £25per head with is not bad for city centre prices .

Most authentic Chinese food we’ve found in glasgow. Lived in SH for a while and this is closest to the food we ate there. Staff are great and food delicious.

It was horrible. I wanted full experience of Chinese food and I got a waiter that speaks like he is better and I don't know about their food. There are no explanations about the food in the menu. The food we ordered- was not good, the gioza is without a taste. I got no help do understand what can I eat and I will love. Plus, when they are clean the tables, in a minute you get a lot of smell of a cleaning products and not in a good way. I felt it like it is inside my eyes

had the dandan noodles, beer braised duck and braised pork. Incredible. very spicy (obviously) but flavours were unreal. portion sizes are great and service is attentive.

A very good Chinese restaurant in Glasgow City Centre. There are lots of menu items to choose from and very good set menu prices for 2 or 3 courses. There is also a more expansive menu with higher costing dishes which appear to be very authentic. The food was great and a party of 10 was catered for with no problems whatsoever.

Superb food! Had the Kung Po Diced Chicken on the recommendation of the hostess & it was incredible! Quite a number of Chinese also came to the restaurant for food which speaks volumes! A big thanks to all concerned!

Main dishes (beef stew and the scallops) were too cold. Sent them back, came out slightly warmer but still cold. Apart from the temperature of the food, its quality wasn’t great for the price. Not worth it - look elsewhere.

The food is good. I ordered via Google Maps which uses Hungry Panda. They sent me a reference number via text message. When I went to pick my food up I was treated like scum trying to steal food because I couldn’t show my order in the Hungry Panda app. I had to argue with the guy to get my pre-paid order. Regret giving them an on-line tip now.

Visited on Saturday night - luckily I'd phoned ahead as ti was packed at 6pm. Food was great - hot & fresh and very little waiting time. Too easy to get a carry out but a sit in Chinese at Sichuan House was a treat - will be back!

We visited this restaurant on a Monday night. Everything was great. The food is fantastic and the service was great. Reasonably priced. Only thing for us was, after our main dishes were cleared, no one came back near us to ask if we wanted any coffees or desserts and we were both going to have a banana fritter but felt like they were done serving us and didn’t bother asking. Everything else was excellent.

4 stars for the food, but for the service there, that young lady should really make some changes

lower your prices, what are you? A Michelin star restaurant? Bot of rice and chicken for £20? Have a word.

The food is very average. Don't order fish. They are not fresh. Price is slightly above average.

Really authentic Sichuan cuisine, possibly the best in Glasgow!

If I can I would give 0 star. The food are small portion but very pricey. All the dishes taste same favour like just spicy and salty. Really bad customer service never smile, just feel like we are not welcome at all.

First time eating here last night and what a treat. Food was fantastic. We ate from the evening menu, but I am really looking forward to trying some of the a la carte menu.

Absolutely disgraceful service went to try today for first time. Stood at counter over five minutes, despite being seen not one person came to counter. Sheer utter ignorance. Certainly will be going back/ trying. Manners cost nothing.

My Daughter & I had a very enjoyable lunch at this Restaurant on Wednesday 31/05/23. The staff were very polite & quick to serve us. We had a chicken curry & beef in black bean sauce.. We will definitely go back another day 👍👍😊

Absolutely beautiful scenery with even better food and customer service

Visited on a Wednesday lunchtime. Restaurant was about 25% full. Seen to table quickly by staff and service for both courses was quick. No conversation from staff at any time during visit. Ordered business 2 course lunch for me and my wife - spring rolls which were small, bland and served with a sweet and sour sauce. Chicken and sweetcorn soup which was tasty. Main course was schezwan chicken with fried rice which was hot and salty, and chicken in saty sauce with fried rice, which was tasteless. Drinks were glass of white wine & pint of lager. Total cost £35 Ok restaurant if you're after cheap and quick food, but nothing more.

Service was very bad brought main course before we had the starters don't think we will go again.

I thought their lunch special was amazing to course. I had dim sum and sweet-and-sour chicken and it was the best I’ve had in a very long time the portion was adequate not super huge but for 10 pounds it was plenty I will come back again.

Great food and service, they even give you fruit after you finishing your meal. I only give 4 stars because their kid were making some noise for quite awhile… overall still good Btw the seem only give side dishes to tables has more than 3 people seems a bit unfair.

昨天我哥去吃饭，回来后头晕恶心 才发现食物中毒了。一直吐还难受了四个多小时 感觉食物卫生有问题！！！须谨慎

A very good value festive lunch option; two courses for £12.95 or three for £14.95. The hot and sour soup was delicious and generously filled with chicken, pork and prawns. Chicken satay was tasty but lacking much peanut flavour. Crispy chicken with salt and chilli was very crispy but light on the chilli. Staff were friendly but busy. With food and prices like this, you understand why. It's a shame that some of their more authentic dishes weren't included in the deal, as they looked delicious. Might have tried one if they were a but cheaper - at around the £13-16 mark, a single main cost more than the lunch deal.

Had a group lunch at this restaurant. The lady who is serving us is very very rude. We are having lunch and trying to order the lunch menu as well as their normal menu. But she was shouting at us for no reason. The food is really good but the service is terrible.

We were deliberately ripped off and charged for 4 instead of 2. When we confronted manager he acted suprised and said to just leave and he will reimburse our card...even refusing our card details and that he would do a refund on our card.. without the card???? So I said no... I will stand here until I see the transaction...he rolled his eyes and gave us a refund in cash out the till. BE AWARE PEOPLE!!!

Excellent place to go before the theatre, staff lovely, food great

Been going here for years and converted many people into hailing this place as the King of authentic Chinese food not only in Glasgow but probably all of Scotland. However, something has changed (probably the chef) and now a couple of the regular dishes we enjoyed are now verging on pretty terrible. The last few visits were really reallllly disappointing and on the last visit we got various spicy foods that we would usually order but they pretty much all tasted the same so the variety now seems to be gone. Other than that the staff are still as always, super friendly, helpful and attentive.

I was hoping to dine in as closing time online was 11pm, got there and was told they were closing at 10.30 instead. Managed to order some rice dish, sweet and sour sauce and ate outside. I enjoyed every bit of the meal. My only shock was seeing cashew nuts in the sauce. Unexpected but wasn't bad
