Lovely steak, really well cooked. Service was good. Can be a bit noisy on the dining room - echoes a bit. Menu has a good selection, will be back.

Nice little country pub, we only visited once for a wake during a weekday, but I found the staff friendly, the buffet was plentiful and varied and there's ample seating. It's a traditional style with dark wood and lowish ceilings. The pub has an outdoor area with a few bench tables, a large car park, a bright conservatory and a few cosy nooks. Wouldn't be fair to say much more unless I was a frequent visitor, but I would return if we were ever in the area again.

All Ten of our very elderly party enjoyed an excellent lunch today with not too long a wait for our meals to appear despite the number of us. It made it so much easier for sorting the bill when the waitress took our orders individually with our names. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable get together over a lovely lunch, we’ll be back soon!

I go to Sibthorpe Arms quite often, the food and service is always excellent. A great pub with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Five stars all round.

We are 5 ladies who meet up monthly for lunch we enjoy it so much we have been back several times. Usually we change our venue monthly but this pub is too good to miss. Thanks to all the staff and of course the cook/ chef.

Went here for a work Xmas meal and it was fantastic. Everything was very well done. They said they have never catered for a group that size before, but it felt like they did it all the time

Visited for a midweek lunch. Decent pub fare, with a menu of traditional English dishes. Great Suet pastry Steak & Kidney. The room was ably run by a single server.

Only went in to meet my friend, they had food which looked good they had no complaints

First time visiting as we were in the area and was very delighted with our food. This pub serves your "traditional pub grub" at afford prices. I can recommend the steak pie it was lovely and decent portion size too. The young man who served us was friendly and pilot. As we left the pub all the staff said goodbye which was nice. There is a child play area so makes it a perfect place if you had small children. We don't have children so there is the odd distraction but but it didn't bother us that much.

It shouldn't be too difficult to produce a Sunday lunch menu. However after a 45 minute wait, having already explained that we were only half way through our day's journey and time was pressing our lunch arrived. Oh dear! I cannot remember a Sunday meal that offered less flavour - it really was totally without taste. By now we needed to go so ate what we could, paid and left.

Sunday lunch shouldn't be too difficult but waiting 45 minutes is not acceptable. When our meals finally arrived they were probably the most tasteless plates of food we have been served for many years. It could, and should have been so much better.

Excellent Sunday roast beef dinner, all the trimmings, including cauliflower cheese with lashings of gravy. Yummy 😋

A Fantastic meal and atmosphere right on my doorstep. This is one of the few great pubs left nowadays with honest, classic pub food at reasonable prices. If you eat a main course, please have a desert too. You'll die for the proper classic crumble or the chocolate fudge pudding with Ice cream or custard. Mmmm! The service is also prompt and warm, with the owners being really hospitable. Don't hesitate to try this great 120-year-old village pub.

An absolute delight! This place is what all pubs should be like! Fantastic staff a wonderful menu excellent cocktails (so my wife and daughter tell me) and a manager that really cares about what they are all doing! The food is aways good and the staff are friendly and helpful. My wife and I have been to the Sibthorpe a number of times.

Went for lunch and ordered a wrap which arrived 30 minutes ordering and was just 2 slices of cheddar cheese & pickle in a dry wrap folded in half and a few warm chips. Not like a wrap should be.

Having a catch up with my best friend. Ordered/expected simple food. Portion size perfect. Cooked perfect. Apart from having to get cutlery and move seat so I could hear my friend (due to birthday celebrations behind.) Would have been 5/5 in all.

We visited here with family for lunch on Saturday 24th June. Had a really nice afternoon, great atmosphere and amazing food. We were impressed by the wide variety of options on the menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Don't miss out on the freshly ground coffee beans, was excellent! They also offer the coffee to take away. Would definitely recommend

Traditional pub with good food. I had the cod and chips which was a very good portion. The beer was good and lively. Service was very good but it was a Tuesday evening and not too busy. They were showing the Champions League football which was a bonus!

Went for a Sunday lunch. Had the veggie roast and I was surprised as it tasted a lot better than it looked. My partner’s burger was however very lacking without much to like about it. Very friendly service and welcoming staff though!

We had a very good meal served quickly. The server was pleasant and attentive, taking the order quickly and efficiently. Starters arrived quickly and were tasty. Main courses followers and were well cooked and really hot. Overall very pleasant.

Dropped in for a family meal - wonderful food all home cooked and fresh food. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Well worth a visit - I will certainly be back as often as I can.

Quick efficient good food and drink

I only ever order chicken burgers at pubs and this pub had the best chicken burger ever. It was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. It also was a perfect amount of food for me, which is nice. Everybody else's food was also great and we've decided as a family this will be a new regular meet-up spot. If I were stretching for a criticism I had ONE singular chip that seemed a little bit undercooked. It had that slightly undercooked potato texture to it, but I'm still rating 5 stars because it's so minor. This also didn't matter to me but on the off-chance it matters to somebody reading it: the place has a slightly rough feel to it. It's not some super fancy establishment. That doesn't matter to me, but I guess if you want to impress posh people, then maybe don't pick this place. If you just want great food, check it out!

Took our daughter and Grandson for Sunday Lunch. Waited 1 hour for an absolutely terrible meal. Overcooked meat and undercooked vedge. Sadly this has put us off returning. They obviously had too many booked. Poor customer service, they did reduce our bill somewhat .

Based on this restaurant's many glowing reviews I booked a table for 10 (unfortunately only eight could make it) for our annual family reunion. We discovered that the reviews were well-earned: The delicious food was hot, well-cooked and tasty, all selected from an immense and varied menu. Desserts were just as enjoyable and portions were just right - the 'small' options on many items (first and last courses) were a welcome idea - and all offering excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Megan who took my original booking and arranged the table exactly as I requested. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was very efficient. We all decided on the spot that this is where we would like our future reunions to take place.

Visited after viewing some TripAdvisor reviews and we were glad we chose this great place. The food was well cooked and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice , friendly country pub. Food is nice . Great place if you want a couple of hours out for lunch and a nice little play area for the Children which is enclosed with plenty of seating outside. Would highly recommend. Also this pub has themed nights which is good for the community.

Very welcoming and pleasant staff. We had a Sunday roast, which was ok, not the best but l couldn't really complain as the meat we had was nice, plus price really good and l ate it all. I'd say a good all round pub which is worth a visit.
