Great venue we enjoy breakfast at least three times a week sometimes even for lunch so much so the staff even remember our order, 😀 now that is Good service. Evening our server Emma was great and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

My wife and I recently held our Golden Wedding celebration at The Terrace at Si. What a terrific, unique, and high quality venue this is. We were fortunate to experience good weather on the evening which allowed our fifty guests to make use of the lovely balcony. In nice weather this is such a brilliant asset for the venue. The feedback from our guests regarding the quality of food was excellent. This also applied to the quality of service provided by all of the staff which was flawless, with everyone being extremely courteous, friendly and welcoming. Customer satisfaction is obviously very important to all of them. The assistance we received in organising the event from General Manager Ryan, was outstanding. Starting from our first discussion, Ryan could not have been more patient and helpful in all aspects of hosting an event of this nature. All communications were answered quickly and, during our discussions, he went to great lengths to ensure we were happy with arrangements. All in all we had a really special and relaxing evening, which has provided great memories for both ourselves and our guests. Well done and a huge thank you to everyone involved.

Came for a birthday boozy brunch and were served by Sophie and Declan who were fabulous. We've been once before for some breakfast and were similarly met with a lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and good quality food. Boozy brunch was £27.50 for a glass of prosecco, 2 good sized cocktails and a brunch item each (I went for waffles - they were great). Very reasonably priced :)

Just popped into the Potting Shed for a bite to eat, “for the first time” and absolutely loved the decor, food, ambience and especially, the super friendly staff. Had the steak frites, tempura prawns and cappuccino cake, plus a coffee and will be back to eat here again, as soon and as often as possible ❤️ Food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful and friendly, especially Ellie, who was fantastic 😊❤️

Dog friendly Restaurant with very friendly staff We love it we come every week ❤️ Food is freshly prepared. It would be nice to have some specials at times, as going so often as we do sometimes we beget bored with the menu. Also they don’t have many syrups for the lattes such as hazelnut which is a shame.

Took our dog and he was treated like a star. Rebecca was amazing. Well done for allowing dogs into your venue. Well looked after. Thanks.

Yesterday we went out for some food and it was great, I tried the new salad that Emma recommended. Will definitely be back to try the evening menu. Venue was busy but they still managed to squeeze us in thankfully Emma was very kind and helpful👍

Food was absolutely lovely, very nice decor and dog friendly which is a huge bonus. Dog sausages are available aswell as other dog snacks. Highly recommend.

I came with my sister, daughter and granddaughter for a Boozy Brunch. It was a great afternoon and we all enjoyed the entertainment- a DJ and dancing and a saxophonist. We all had a great time and will be back !!

Lovely atmosphere, food well cooked amd everything was fresh. Complementary eayer eas served with a lemon slice; great attention todetail on everything, lovely waitresses, we felt well cated for. Price was great too, wewill definitely come again!

Food was lovely, there was a lot to choose from even from a specific menu and alternatives were available . Location wasn't particularly busy but there was plenty of space for a variety of table sizes. Lighting and decor were pleasant. I felt service was a wee bit slow initially , but staff were delightful when dealing with requests. Would recommend this location for a pleasant eating experience.

Service and atmosphere 5 over 5, the burger was high quality but just meat bun and sauce , no single veg, seabass was very tasty but portion too small for the price, share platter was amazing and it was only dish we fully enjoyed. We will visit again to try something else hope for 5 / 5 review

Disappointed, disgusted, dirty as well you are meant to be high standards, and also my aunt was vegetarian you didn’t know the difference between gluten free bread and normal, cakes had been eaten by flys, just shows how dirty you are. Also your milk was out of date too, along with your cheeky staff’s attitude, Hopefully someone takes this further than me by just complaining!… overall si no stars for u.

Fantastic atmosphere , great service

We arrived and were talking a lot and we were approached right away asking if we would like a drink which we did but then asked if we were ready to order we had only been sat for five minutes then after ten minutes again we’re asked which we sadly could only order a breakfast roll on link sausage as I myself have a lot of allergies and did not realise the list about allergies on your website until after I had booked we were served very quickly with the food which made us both question if it had been freshly made or sat in a heated area precooked it was basically eatable and that was it I had booked as I was given a voucher and thought we will go here instead I payed the bill and chose to keep my voucher for a different restaurant as it’s got quite a value on the voucher

Attended an engagement party last night. Atmosphere was great. Service was very smooth concidering the numbers. Staff could not have been more attentive, especialy Declan who increased my 4 to 5 stars. Thanks for making it a night to remember

New evening menu released recently. A fun variety with a good selection of flavours. Range of pasta dishes ( eg.mussels, prawns and chorizo linguine), steak dishes (eg.steak frite) and others. Staff very attentive and helpful. Background music good selection. Good selection of drinks including wide range of cocktails.

I visit the Potting Shed quite often for breakfast which us always wonderful. Today I came with my Gran and sister for an afternoon tea for my grans birthday. It was wonderful, my gran thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was amazing as usual- all the staff here are so friendly and atmosphere is spot on. Shout out to Declan and Sophie, our servers who were a delight and made our visit very special. We'll be back very soon! 😊

Service and food was fantastic, my friend was running late, so was worried we would run out of time to enjoy our meal as we like a good blether. We did not feel rushed and were able to stay longer than the 1hour and 45min allocated so this made our experience so much more relaxed 😃.

Funeral purvey which was excellent. Staff were very attentive, well done to Murray and his team.

Service is amazing, all the staff are lovely. Decor and atmosphere is beautiful, and comfortable. Food tastes great, but lunch menu could do with a couple more choices. A personal hate of mine is the bunch of scraggy leaves used as a garnish on the plates. To me a salad is more than a spoonful of green tangled stuff. A wee bit of tomato, onion, peppers or the likes would make a far nicer and tastier presentation. The afternoon tea option is fantastic.

Food was good but service wasn't good due to a new member not being experienced. She was clearly overwhelmed with the venue being so busy.

I went to the 'Booze Brunch' with 2 friends. It was a great afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful, the entertainment and food were good. There was even props to add to the fun. I would definitely be back.

We had afternoon tea, the sandwiches were a bit dry, also one small pack of jam for scones and a very small portion of cream. Not asked if we would like a top up of tea. The cakes were very disappointing and lacked any flavour.

Food, service, and atmosphere was all excellent. Our server Casey was extremely helpful with any questions we had and also very forthcoming with info about menu and loyalty club.

We arrived at the Potting Shed for breakfast and were seated promptly by Chloe. The main dining area is warm, inviting and cosy. Dogs are also accommodated in a separate, equally inviting area. Unfortunately there was a solo pup vocalist who was a wee bit louder than polite conversation, but the overall atmosphere definitely made up for it! The Steak & Eggs breakfast was served on a large piece of sourdough, steak & peppercorn sauce, two fried eggs and two hash browns, with more peppercorn sauce. Everything was cooked well, the steak wasn't chewy, and the bread not being toasted worked way better than it would have toasted. Personally, I would ask for less peppercorn sauce next time, as I found it a little overpowering, and I would ask for the eggs cooked a little less firm than they were, but obviously that's just personal preference. The 3 Pigs Baguette is a real sausage topped with thick bacon bits, pulled pork and cabbage 'slaw. The baguette was crispy outside & soft inside, and was thoroughly enjoyed by my dining partner. The quality and presentation of the food is simple and appetising. We will be returning to sample the Brunch & Drinks! Kudos to Chloe for her stellar service!

Visited on spec for a meal, got a table and had a wonderful meal. Staff very polite and attentive, food choices were great and very tasty! Will definitely be back again soon!

We had a lovely lunch here on a Saturday. The only problem I had was that the background music was too loud for me. We were seated near a speaker and as I have hearing difficulties I found it very difficult to hear what my two companions were saying which took away some of the enjoyment but the food was good and staff attentive. Easy for parking and good vegetarian choices.

Nice enough place, food was ok but slow service sadly. Compounded by noisy folk in the booth next to our seats which sort of ruined the majority of the evening.

Has to be one of the best afternoon teas we’ve had! The food was delicious and we love the new look of the restaurant. Felt the service was a bit slow, had to go looking for someone a few times but they were all super friendly and nothing was any trouble. Would highly recommend!

A get together with school friends a lovely boozy lunch. Only comment I would have is why don't you have a separate frier for people who have celiac disease ...as chips would have been lovely. The staff were lovely and very attentive we will definitely be back

Unfortunately my husband was ill, so I got our afternoon tea as a take away, it’s the worst afternoon tea I have ever had. We couldn’t eat the 2cm cakes as they were mush, the scones were 3cm they were white in the middle very cheap may have been frozen , it really was bad.

The terrace hoedown was good fun, the buffet was delicious and had a good range to choose from. One of our guests was gluten free/celiac and enjoyed her separate plate of dishes. Bar service was great! I would've liked to hear some more old country songs, Tammy Wynette, Billy Jo Speirs, Dolly etc but other than that, well done, we all enjoyed it

Staff are very welcoming and fuss over my dog, who loves their sausages. Coffee is served piping hot which is a must for me , and the poached eggs are perfect!

We gave this place another chance after few bad experiences we were pleasantly surprised They now take bookings also on line even just for 2. They have a dedicated sitting space for people with dogs, which is great. Food has improved maybe they could focus on a better presentation on the plating by making it look prettier. They also have a limited selection of syrups no hazelnut no pumpkin spice. Stuff is very friendly which makes the whole experience nice.

My partner and I visit regularly and always enjoy our time at Si! The staff are always super friendly and reasonable prices with good sized portions

We visited this restaurant while in town visiting family, and we had a fantastic time! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Declan, who was incredibly attentive throughout our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

We were in for afternoon tea, which was delicious. The only downside was we had to ask for the Tea and eventually got it at the end. I’d have preferred the Tea with the sandwiches and scones.

We visited your establishment, but unfortunately, we were disappointed with the level of service. 1. No one greeted us upon arrival, even though the staff saw us enter. 2. We had to wait for the menu, as it was not brought to us immediately. 3. The tables were dirty and not cleaned, which left a bad impression. 4. We were given an incomplete menu, while other guests were offered a special Sunday deal, which we were not informed about. 5. Overall, the service was extremely poor—lack of attention to guests and staff negligence ruined the experience, despite the cozy atmosphere of the place. We would like to understand the reason for these shortcomings and hope that the service in your establishment improves in the future.

Came for a lunch at the Potting Shed, we had the Salmon Philly at nearly $12. Was the most disappointing sandwich for the price. Bread was a little stale, a measly bit of salmon but the cream cheese was nice. $12 for a sandwich, will not be back

We came for the brunch for my friends 50th birthday yesterday. What a superb day!!! We all had a ball, the venue is beautiful, the staff were great with us and very friendly. The food was also really nice. Highly recommend this day out . DJ and saxophonist were superb too.

We had afternoon tea. The girl who served us was lovely but we were very disappointed with the food. When I booked this, I asked for sandwiches to be served without butter. Our server told us she had that noted. When the food was brought out, the sandwiches were buttered. They took them away and replaced them. The bread was hard, it had clearly been lying out for a while. The scones and muffins were both very dry and definitely not fresh. The smaller cakes were lovely. The tea was nice and we would have liked to order another pot but couldn’t see any servers, to ask. The Potting Shed is a nice venue and the staff on duty were all very nice but sadly we won’t return due to the food being poor

On arrival at 6pm advised kitchen closing at 7pm and restaurant closing at 8 pm as Winter hours. I didn't see this on webpage when I booked. Staff not very attentive, had to keep asking for things. Felt like we were being rushed out door. Food not the best, could of been warmer. In my opinion not worth £16.95 for chicken tempura, overpriced. I got 40% discount with Simpsinn card which was good considering I was not really impressed with the food. Don't think I will be rushing back, sorry.

Had a lovely dinner with family: mixture of vegetarians and meat eaters and both catered for well, decision on what to choose only helped by deciding to try other prospective choices on a subsequent visit! Staff, Casey and Sajan, were attentive and helpful (but not over the top which I don’t particularly like). Food was great and good sized portions. It is not the cheapest, however pretty standard prices for similar places nowadays. Took advantage of taking out a loyalty card which gives 40% off this month, so that paid for the starters! Loved the decor - hadn’t been in since prior to the big refurb, and I much prefer it now. Will absolutely go back.

Boozy Bells on The Terrace at Si on Hogmanay with family was a great night. Lovely setting, hot buffet had a good selection of tasty food. Well organised and friendly staff helped create a good atmosphere. The DJ was outstanding with perfect mix of set to cater for the fab mix of ages/people celebrating. DJ games were fun getting everybody up and joining in, nothing too outrageous or regrettably embarrassing! Initially thought the £49.95 per head ticket was a little bit steep but actually was well worth it. Would do it again.

Walk in booking for 2 meals Sunday evening. Beautiful setting and decor but surprisingly quiet. Lacked a little on the atmosphere front. Polite prompt service from both members of staff who served us. Ordered chorizo croquette and garlic mushrooms as starters, both tasty and the mushrooms was a large , filling portion that came with bread. Fish and chips main and cajun chicken pasta main, both large portions. I would defo ask for a smaller portion size next time, could not finish the pasta. overall a lovely unplanned dinner out.

This was for New Years Eve. The music was brilliant a great mixture we loved it the DJ. There was such a lovely atmosphere and the staff were amazing. The only thing I wasn't to keen on was the choice of food for the buffet but they can't please everyone. It would not stop me going there again for New Year

Thought we'd give the potting shed a go for breakfast I opted for full scottish and wife had some mushrooms on toast , was slightly concerned when both dishes arrived almost immediately after being ordered , so clearly not cooked to order , having said that I thoroughly enjoyed everything on the plate , so does a breafast need to be cooked fresh to be enjoyably, clearly not , service was great , our server was very attentive so no complaints there , possibly slightly overpriced when you add on toast and coffee it's about £16 which for breakie is a bit expensive, but will happily return .

Really nice place serving brunch and breakfast type dishes from their daytime menu. Plenty of cakes, coffees and soft drinks to choose from - in addition to alcohol drinks too. Friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere.
