Best curry house around by far delivery takes a little longer but definitely worth the wait cooked fresh and alway hot

Ordered a takeaway at 6.15pm was told couldn't pick it up and delivery would be 45 mins, 1 hour 15 mins later he rung to find out where it was, was told "its on its way" then it finally turned up 45 mins after that when tried ringing again, they just hung up. Exceptionally poor service.

Every dish was extremely salty, inedible!!! Complained of disappointment, will not reorder!!

Ordered a meal for me and my wife this evening. It took almost an hour to get our food, which was just fine as all dishes were cooked fresh from scratch. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and there is even enough for lunch tomorrow! Will be ordering from Sholay Spice again soon. Thanks guys. 😁

Thought I'd take a change from my regular take away, so glad I did. Food well prepared, Pamir was Panir not Cheddar, all dishes were distinct with their own identity, food cooked to perfection. Exceptional value for a quality meal. Heartily recommend.

Fabulous food. Set menu for 2 is great value. Portion sizes good.

Fantastic Indian food, the chicken just melted in your mouth. The most the best Indian for along while. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

Ordered food at 5.30pm Saturday and was told it would be 45 mins, got a call from a driver 90 mins later apologising but was given the wrong post code, advised that unless food hot didn't want it, he said he would call the resturant and call back, I called myself and the lady I spoke to had no clue (literally) what had happened, (even though it was her who took my order) I said I didn't want a cold meal and what did she proposed to do about it? After speaking to someone she offered a....wait for it....£5.00 discount, I suggested she was joking, then was offered a further £5.00, so £10.00 in total, bearing in mind this was now more than 2 hours since ordering the moment had passed and said " stick it", needless to say would never use them again and threw the menu in the bin, mistakes happen but the rectification and (lack) of apology was both appalling and not good enough to warrant a second chance, pity.

My husband and I ordered the set meal for two last night. We thought that it was nice that they let you substitute like for like, without any additional cost (we are vegetarians so didn't want the chicken dishes). The food arrived piping hot and within the 45 minutes quoted. The curries were both fairly decent and the portions were absolutely huge! We have tried a lot of different takeaways around this area now, and have usually been disappointed for one reason or another - this is definitely one of the better ones.

Our 4th takeaway from the sholay. Loved them when they were in Halling love them still. The best Indian food by far.

The owner on the counter was extremely helpful with our order of some new south Indian dishes we ordered, all of them delicious especially the southern garlic chilli chicken! Definitely will return .

Lamb korma and lemon rice both were so perfumy ,like they use hugo boss as a herb substitute . Won't make the mistake ordering here again .

AWFUL!!! Probably the worst takeaway I have ever had. It was flavourless, and the meat was chewy. The poppadoms were burnt, the bhajees were swimming in grease and the potatoes were raw. I will definitely not be going here again.

Used it 3 times since it opened! Best Indian take away I’ve had in a long time. Great choice on menu and the specials are amazing. Chicken is so tender. Highly recommend

Really poor service,food was cold and horrible. I find it disgusting that all the bins are over loaded outside,not a great feature to look at before u walk in there and then the food turned out horrible,never again will i be going in there !!

Ordered my first takeaway from here yesterday. The Restaurant is modern and clean. But more importantly the food is a superior quality when compared to other Indian takeaway's close by. Glad to finally have a decent Indian takeaway in the area!
