Lovely pub popped out for a drink with family and was welcomed by lovely staff especially Louisa Darcy and andy , would highly recommend and will come back again

Booked a family and friends wedding buffet celebration. Great venue and set up area in the restaurant. Very tasty selection of sandwiches and savouries plus a selection of deserts. Or you could choose cheese board as alternative- More than enough for our party of 20. Highly recommend for any parties/get togethers/wakes etc. Plenty of parking spaces

We have had good meals here before but this time was a disappointment. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food which to be honest wasn't worth the wait, I had the signature burger and it was all very dry. I asked for some vinegar to make the chips less dry but it didn't come. I realised afterwards that the burger was dry because there was no cheese or Mayonnaise in it. Just meat, a tiny piece of lettuce and one slice of tomato. We won't be going back.

Went with family for lunch, I often go to Shipley Bridge. The food and service is always is excellent excellent . Our waiter Chris was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.

I have been going to this pub/restaurant for years, but I have noticed that they seemed to have taken off dishes that used to be on the evening menu ie Salmon & Scampi. The strange thing is you can add scampi to the fish & chips but can't have scampi as a main course. The Salmon you can only lunch times only not the evening menu. The pudding menu used to have cheesecake etc but now you can only get as a mini pudding with hot drink. Please bring these things back they were so enjoyable.

First time we have been to the Shipley Bridge for breakfast, the welcome and service was friendly and non intrusive, the breakfasts we ordered came out in good time and the portion size was generous. Having been to a number of pubs and garden centres in the area I would say this was as good as if not at the top of the list for service, quality of food and value for money. I don't normally write reviews but Andy, the manager, is obviously striving to provide quality customer service with the help of the chef Jake. Well done to both. I will be returning and recommending to others.

Truly unbelievably bad, I had previously given this place very high praise, and after having a bad meal with poor service we thought we’d give them another chance….. how wrong could I be. Went there for brunch, and it was incredibly awful. We were the only people there, yet our breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive, (after having been given a stone cold coffee that was more milk than coffee!), and when it did arrive the scrambled eggs had a large squirt of cream on them! When I complained the staff basically disappeared, and never saw them again, they made no attempt to resolve the problem. Probably the worst example of “service” I’ve ever seen.

We called in for tea as it was the closest to where we was camping and what a good choice we made. The food was beautiful and our waitress Darcey was brilliant, from being very attentive, to keeping the kids quite with colouring also helping with directions. Thank you!!.x

What an amazing hidden gem. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary with family and what a fantastic evening we had. The staff and manager Andy so welcoming and friendly. Libby was attentive making it a great experience at your restaurant. The food was outstanding and can not wait to return. If you are looking for a restaurant that not only has great food, fabulous staff but also a fantastic atmosphere, you could not find a better place.

Awful meal last night here. Only ones in there, so you just feel they are not going to make an effort in the kitchen. Ordered the signature burger and two fish and chips. They came out about 8 or 9 minutes after the order was taken which tells you nothing was fresh and probably microwaved up. You could not get a knife through what they said was a burger. It wasn't. I don't know what it was. Just stuck with a beer and ate the chips and didn't bother complaining as one guest was celebrating a birthday and didn't want to spoil it. They need to close again Mon-Wed's. Awful experience and unlikely to be returning.

Just returned from a wonderful meal. We turned up without a reservation and were very warmly welcomed by Lauren. Mum had very specific dietary requirements but nothing was too much trouble and after a conversation with the chef we both enjoyed our meals. Thank you to Daisy, our waitress, for being so attentive. We have nothing but praise for the service and food we received tonight. Thank you for making our Monday so special!

I loved the food I had garlic bread for a starter with tomato dip was great as it was nice and warm for main I had a chicken burger with chips and beans, the only thing is that the beans tasted off they tasted like vinigar and great pudding. I would recommend

We had a marvellous lunch with our friends and our waitress Louisa was very attentive paying particular attention to our dog - who very much enjoyed the doggy ice cream that was provided ! - human food was lovely too and portions generous - will pay a return visit when we are in the area again.

Without doubt the worst meal my family and I have ever had I believe even the staff were embarrassed! They never asked how our food was … because they knew !! Lovely cosy atmosphere with a real log fire and very friendly helpful staff. The apple pie was the best ever. The sirloin wasn't that well done for medium to well done, I would ask for well done if you don't like it pink but it suited me. the field mushroom with sauce goes really well with it.

Have been to Shipley Bridge a number of times and have always had a good meal. Today I had the hake which was scrumptious. Please add it to your main menu as I would have it again and again. The service as usual was very good by waiters that went the extra mile. Thank you will see you again soon.

We had an excellent meal and were very well looked after by Louisa and Daisy. One or two items were unavailable (it was a Monday evening and they had been very busy the day before) but alternatives were offered promptly. Daisy went to the kitchen to discuss with the chef what would be appropriate. We were even given a surprise treat for our (big!) birthdays. Thank you Team Shipley Bridge.
