Shields Pizza in South Tyneside

Absolutely discusted tonight put a £35 order in and 2 meals were missing (chicken nugget meal) and (burger meal) I have rang the shop didn't get an apology put was sent the 2 meals missing was also sent garlic bread with cheese instead of margarita now when driver has came he was so polite and apologised on behalf of the shop but I'm not going to lie i normally love the food but tonight 30th October I have never been so disappointed with my order I should have just asked for my money back but unfortunately my children had already stated eating don't think ill order from here again

Great pizza with good offers and gives extra great staff

The food here is always great, so this is a well deserved five stars. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The guy who usually answers phone/serves at till is super friendly! My regular favourite is the chicken wrap with chilli & salad - I highly recommend trying one if you haven't already. Thanks guys! 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Waited 1hr 7 mins for my 2 pizzas. According the man on the phone who I could not understand properly it was out for delivery !!! So after the long wait I can honestly say that the pizzas were average at best. The trouble with reviews is anyone can say anything, I have nothing to gain by being honest & my review reflects that. I will not be ordering from them again I don't care how good the food is because the service is TERRIBLY SLOW & the Pizzas average at best. Sorry I hate leaving negative reviews but I cannot in all honesty give more than the stars I gave. So now you have to try them & make your own mind up & leave a review.

For a £10 The pizza tasted like Stale old dough, reheated old pizza. Worst one ever ordered. Lost a customer.👎

Shields pizza is usually our go to local place, and usually we have no issues with them. We ordered last night and it was ridiculous. After placing the order we waited an hour and heard nothing so we contacted the shop. They hadn't even started the process. Fobbed off on the phone told it will be with us in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later we ask again and told it has left the shop. Again fobbed off unable to answer our questions. An hour and half after ordering, the food arrived. Cold parmo and rubbery chips. Was not worth the wait. Left us both disappointed

Order food quite regulary, however when i order wraps and ask for salad in wrap they don't put any tomatoes or any cucumber hardly any lettuce or red onion only a scratch of red cabbage, selfish owners so tight, this has happened a few times before and also hardly any sauce.. So dissapointed.

Not the best experience from this place. Pizza tasted like it had been dipped in oil and fried. Smelt rank when opening it. Yapping tasted cheap. Chips where very dry and ot nice at all. Definitely will not be returning to this place.

Was loyal customer to this place for their kebab wraps. They've let me down past couple of times now. Delivery within 20 mins makes me wonder how it's freezing cold. It's like they keep the lid off the kebab tin and let it dry out and go cold. It's a unwritten rule that in South Shields if you make a wrap of such kind you PUT IT IN AN OVEN for a couple of mins to heat it through and keeps its heat for delivery. Rushed my order, clearly don't care about customer retention. Amazing how this place is still open. Never any customers, getting orders wrong and refusing refunds or any solution for a genuine complaint. Good if you wanna grab a pizza or something but think about how your foods made and prepared before you get it. If there's something wrong with you food: don't expect a refund or anything else.

🍕 very tasty !!! the kabab meats the best I’ve tasted! The kebab wraps with salad chilli and garlic are my favourite. And they are great value 😋👍🏻

Nice food could be quicker on delivery tho

I had ordered a chicken kabab and a seafood 12" pizza from here today. Kabab was just perfectly cooked juicy inside and the sea food pizza was amazing... I generally have pizzas from here 3 to 4 times a week and the taste s just too good... Must try their bolonise Pizza. The bolonise here has got a different spl taste... Many thanks to chef...

Staff do not listen cold pizza off day before warmed up

Took the money for our delivery, they said a women took it in off the door step. The one women in our household had not answered the door and had been in her room all day. Then when we rang up they called us all liars and then they turned around and said we pulled a fast one. Would not recommend buying from them at all. On top of this the women on the phone was ignorant and arrogant. Poor customer service.

Food was lowely shame it came swimming. In red cabbage juice lass on phone ignorant as can be went to shop manager lovely but shame about his staff customer service from lass shocking

This review board should be scrapped, the reviews are from a different address, 2 or 3 years ago. Used to get from here all the time, until I heard staff make disgusting comments about customers. Tried them again, after 2 years, pizza was undercooked, Luke warm ,threw about 3/4 of a £15 mewl into the bin. The positive reviews, must be from the staffs family members. If you want cold, undercooked stuff, this is the place for you.

Wont be ordering from here again half order missing phoned up to be told they have to many orders waiting to be delivered so will be about an hour before missing items would arrivevasked to speak to the manager who was clearly not the manager and just another member of staff to be told the same thing but would be added onto to next order....there wont be a next order yous have just lost regular customers and the attitude of your staff is disgustin

Far to much tomato base on pizza I ordered h and mushroom all you could taste was the tomato

Bloke on the phone is cany and the pepperoni on the pizza is absolutely lush, would definitely recommend the pizza

Ordered a pizza and chips chips were ok , but they put beef on pizza instead of pepperoni and the pizza was cold and tasteless,I dont think it was cooked properly

A triple act of fantastic pizza, great value for money, and the feel of a local. Super friendly and helpful staff make this place a favorite. If you're in a hurry, the turnaround is amazing, but without cutting corners - made to order with fresh ingredients and garlic oil, chili oil, oregano, etc...
