Been a couple times don’t waste your time there give you small portions Donner meat was thick and rubbery go best pizza if you are wanting something nice 👌 got a Donner wrap last week about 5 chips inside as well joke for what you pay won’t be going back

Enjoyed the meal deal we got from here will go again

Rang as food was late. Was told it was out with driver, rang back 30 mins later to be told its just leaving the shop now had the wrong door number. Different excuse every tine. Last time said it was because of the merchant navy bruver

We have been ordering from santinos for years and we were gutted when they closed down ,but started using santinos again when they reopened, ordered a swarms wrap which is normally the best 👌 but it was absolutely disgusting, definitely wasn't the same chicken it was all skin and had a greasy fatty taste ,phoned to complain and they are not interested !such a shame they definitely need to start looking after there regular customers we used to use santinos twice a week but its a lot of money if quality of food is bad and customer service is bad they promise you free food on next order but it never happens (they pretend they don't know what your talking about ) they owe my friend 8 cans of pop as they were missed of delivery order ,we used to pick up as our order is never right !

Greasy. Poor ingredients. Basic pizza. Why the hype and five star reviews?

Ordered a few times from here everytime one or two things missing from the order, kept complaining to the manager who said he would send the stuff out and never did, again this happened tonight which completely ruined the meal and the manager was arrogant on the phone, will not be returning! Robbing people!!!

So disappointed with our two chicken kebabs. Not like the old Santino,s . Won’t be ordering from here any time soon.

I went in today staff were polite. Was hot sitting waiting for food to be cooked. Seats are comfy. I cant lie though the food is delicious I recommend you get Santinos one night with family. Pizza wasn’t cold it was hot and cooked properly. From my perspective definitely a 5 star!

Their pizza had a cracking crispy crust, loads of melted cheese, and a proper tangy tomato sauce. I went for pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers, and it was a proper taste sensation. The staff were dead friendly, and the vibe in there was spot on. I queffed that pizza. Highly recommend it! 🍕👍

I don’t want to be writing this but I opened up the pizza box last night to find a Big hair right on the pizza it all went in the bin £7.50 for nothing thanks santinos

I ordered online on there website.My bill including delivery and service charge came to £20.80.The lovely delivery lad had been given a note to say I needed to pay another £7.80.I rang and explained I didn't owe anymore.the manager insisted I paid it then he said well pay £3 extra .I told him definitely not.I reeled of what I had ordered and how much everything was and what the total was .Fair to say won't be going back

Brilliant pizza which made my journey from London to Newcastle worthwhile. It was reassuring to find a great pizza away from home. The staff were really kind and accommodating also. I definetely recommend this if you're around.

After a long wait of the hype of this place re opening our meal was absolutely awful. Food arrived within the delivery time but chips and kebab were absolutely freezing. Food did not seem fresh, salad was horrible chips cold / soggy. Customer service from shop also shambles they don't want to make customers happy response I was given "your food can't be cold" well it 100% was. Tried to blame being busy on the poor quality of our order, yes takeaways get busy but it doesn't mean poor meals should be delivered. Each customer should receive what they pay for to a good standard.

Had food from this place hype was built up put pic on Facebook and tagged them in it and they decided to block me rather than respond... wouldn't give that food to my dog vile tasteless food not even average all I can advise is don't wast Ur hard earned money unless u have COVID still and have completely lost Ur taste.

The food and staff were lovely and was pretty memorable like how it was before it was shut down, but despite the food tasting good, we had an order that wasn't fairly done, we asked for a 12 inch garlic bread special with topped on cheese with chips and garlic sauces, sadly they failed to add the chips on and barely any kebab meat, so we called them and they happily gave us the chips but my sis had to go back to the pizza place herself to get it and they served us a very small box of chips. And didn't even bother to give us a bit more of the kebab meat they ripped us off, hope this never happens again. (Didn't help they were busy talking to each other casually than concentrating on the job, even when my sis went back they were still talking casually nothing to do with there work or orders.)

I might sound like a weirdo here, but I honestly mourned Santinos when they shut after lockdown. When I found out they were open again I went the first day. You can go to 20 pizza places in Jarrow, Hebburn or Shields and they all taste the same, but my god Santinos is just a one off. That garlic dip man oh my days. Pizzas are always cooked and taste superior to elsewhere, chips are unreal, and the kebabs are lush. Them soggy pitta breads under the chicken make me complete. And the staff are absolutely sound. So glad they’re back.

Came here for a pizza and kebab the other day after they’d been closed for a while and can say the food was class! Great service and the staff were really friendly - would defo recommend. Pizza dough was nice and fresh and they were generous with the kebab servings 👌👌

Disappointed, after a long wait when I eventually got the food the chicken shawarma was cold. Chips were terrible and the service wasn’t great either…

Delicious! I came here after a day out with my wife and kids as we were all craving some pizza and doner kebab. I can whole-heartedly say that this was some of the best food i've had in Jarrow. Friendly staff, amazing portion sizes and delicious food. I don't normally leave reviews but my family were so pleased with the food that I just had to. If you are in the area, this is the place to go to!

Had the Mighty grill, meat was excellent. Portion size was immoral, couldn't fit the salad on the plate. Only letdown was the chips. I wish more takeaways would do there own chips. Rather than fry up frozen ones.....

Best Pizzas in Jarrow without a doubt.

Normally really nice, have ordered from here regularly but this is the 3rd order in a row which they have gotten wrong. They forget items each time. Shame because when it's right it's spot on but they've lost a customer this time.

I went to this pizza shop I had a awful time they made me feel so uncomfortable from the moment I walked in as a bigger woman when I placed my Oder they started to talk amongst them selfs and looks at me and my friend and starting laughing. Made me feel very self conscious and was not a nice feeling at all will not be visiting here again very poor customer service!!!

Cant take orders on the phone 3 time s we tried to order we where going round in circles, not rocket science writing a order down

The last time I ordered (and it will be the very last aswel) they messed up my order again. I gave these a chance so any times because when they get it right they knock it out the park but its becoming a recurring issue with not receiving what we order... anyway, I got half my order then called back to be spoken to like I was a burden when all I wanted was what I paid for... they never brought the rest of the food until an hour and half later. They must of been embarrassed or something because they LEFT THE REST OF THE DELIVERY ON MY DOORSTEP and never even let me know. I called for the 3rd time to be told "ahhh he's left it on the step" like that's normal.... So yeah. I'D AVOID THIS PLACE

A take away for supper after a day at the Great North Run. Been before in 2018 in similar circumstances. Both times great food and plenty of it at a truly great price. Dough of the pizza light, good toppings, well cooked. 8" pizza adequate for 1. A donner kebab was more than generous, plenty for 2. Not a regular customer, but not disappointed with my 2 visits. Keep up the good work

Best chicken and shish kebab ever

Diabolical, order arrived without the two sauces that make this food nice. Told sauces would arrive within 45 mins. Pointless really. Manager unwilling to offer a refund.

This place used to be the best around for miles. I went recently for pizza & chips. The pizza was okay, but the chips were over cooked and cold by the time I got home. They are cooking the chips with the pizza orders too soon, so the chips are done, but the pizza is still in the oven. I suggest ordering the pizza on its own, then on collection ordering the chips. Will avoid for quite some time.

Ordered a chicken, donner and mixed kebab with chips and garlic last night. All three of us loved it. Really good portions and great food as always.

Disgusting the food was cold, pizza wasnt even cut into slices and full of greese and the cake wrong and still frozen. When i went back to complain the person in charge shouted at me and then continued to call me to other customers.

FTA of the Manager at Santinos. After 20 years of great food i have finally had enough of the continuous mistakes on my orders, some of the staff barely speak English let alone understand it, This is down to poor management and i am voting with my feet like so many previous customers according to the reviews. I would also like to invite the manager to answer or defend the actions of his staff.

Went for a standard midweek Mixed kebab dont normally go here and wont be going here again kebab was horrible Steak was like chewing Rubber and the chicken was OK, for me the best part of it was the salad cannot fault that well done!

Me and my partner ordered from the shop we stud for over 15 minutes before we were served be cause all the staff were busy with delivery's in the back of the shop and when we asked if anyone was serving at the front they were really nasty we'll not be going back in a hurry

Delicious chicken kebabs with wonderful garlic sauce. Great Donna kebabs. My husband particularly appreciates the chilli sauce. Delivery is always prompt.

Writing this in the hope santinos check and take the criticism on board and do something about it. Delivery lads are always lovely and usually on time if not early, the food is incredible, even Sheffield family say so when they visit, the customer service is...questionable. Last four orders in a row have been wrong, you guys need to pay attention to customer's orders or people will stop coming, I've been a loyal customer for years and don't want to stop coming to you, but if every time the order is wrong, then you have to ring up to sort it out...takes the fun out of the process guys. Hope this changes

I've ordered from Santinos in Jarrow for almost 10 years, however they're shocking recently. The order is always wrong! Staff taking the order blame the delivery staff. The delivery staff blame the shop staff! Shocking service!!!

Really good pizza. Nice chips. Can recommend chicken Kiev pizza. Decent amount of garlic. Not greasy like some take away pizzas you get. And great value. Will be back

I've been going here for years and possibly the best pizza place around ,except for dominos.

We have just returned from a great meal at santini,s at seaburn the staff where excellent very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent atmosphere was so homely, you did not feel as though you had to move when you had finished eating we sat and had coffee and felt very relaxed

Sé que la principal razón para ir a cualquier restaurante es la comida pero si la decoración es buena, hace que la visita sea más agradable. Santinos tiene un ambiente cálido y cómodo y esto hace que para una visita agradable. La comida es buena y hay gran valor especial para los madrugadores. Bien merece una visita.

Me encantan las pizzas y me encantaba el pollo envuelve pero llamé para pedir una envoltura de pollo con salsa de ajo y ensalada por dentro y se negaron a poner ensalada en mi envoltura para mí? ? No entiendo como en todas partes me he encargado antes de añadir ensalada para enrollado de pollo. . . Yo pedido repetidamente por incomprendida lo que pedia, pero no que no añadiría ensalada a mi me vaya a otro lugar para envoltura envolturas pero ¡Inmejorable! pizzas

Santinos es nuestro favorito pizzería la comida es genial. Siempre pedimos Kebab de pollo, Chile, ajo y kebab pizza y patatas fritas, este lugar sería perfecto si el servicio era mejor simplemente colgar sin decir gracias adiós es tan grosero. Y ahora y de nuevo orden fallaran.

this used to be my regular takeaway and loved it however on last 5 visits it's been poor quality dry pizza Base not crisp enough evidence when asked 4 well done they also charge u 30 p each 4 garlic n chilli when your so posed to get a one free with a kebab I far to poor 2 many times they are to busy laughing n talking instead ov making quality food won't be back its In the binn !!!

Their kebabs aren't the biggest in the world, or even the biggest in Jarrow, but they're well presented. Wor Kid loves their pizzas and gets them delivered when she's in town.
