Domino's Pizza in South Tyneside

I accidentally sent my mobile order to this store and not my local domino’s. After the pizza was made and ready for pickup they still canceled my order and refunded my money. Best outcome for my mistake

I’ve been sucking it up through the ok and very bad for about 6 years now. Everything is always inconsistent whether it’s burnt, undercooked, sometimes just right. For the amount of money it has cost over the years, I should have gone to pizza college, or at least learned to be more tolerant of incompetence. I spent exactly my last dollar(at least at this location) tonight

Best dominoes in the surrounding areas. Considering their location they are killing it. Talked to Jacob and he praised his gm.

Delivery was fast and the food was great.

Service and atmosphere are good. Please don't put your red sauce on your pizza, if you put too much red pepper in it. Just throw the sauce out. Spiciest pizza I ever ate. This is not a good thing. Yes, people can tell if you put too much of one item in the sauce.

The pizza was very bad i woke up with food poison ☠️ now this is the 3rd day and my stomach still having problems

This is my family location for the best pizza, but when we ordered our pizza on the phone, 1 large and 1 medium deluxe, when we arrived the pizza wasn't there , all their orders were messed up and we had to wait for it to be done, it was awful. The worst pizza ever, the young lady who made it just put all the ingredients in the middle of the pizza with lots of cheese on top and the rest was mostly bread... than she goes and makes other items with dough places the dough on her bare arm to text on her phone, disgusting !!! Will not be ordering again!!!!

Took over 2 hours to get my pizza last week. And tonight it was gonna be the same before I canceled it . The manager had the nerve to tell me it’s because I ordered online. Never ordering from them again

I ordered my food over the phone 2 hrs ahead of time and they still made me wait 15mins. and my food was ready.

Order 2 medium pies 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni. The pepperoni was fine but the cheese barely had any on it and had air bubbles!

This happened before so shame on me for giving them another chance. Totally forgot about my order for an hour, when I called they assured me they would be here in 25 minutes. 45 minutes later I called again, couldnt tell me if or when my pizza would get here and kept putting me on hold to get a refund. Trash service

Tried to order a pizza from them (November 18th 2023) and they refused to deliver to me and my step momthers house, they have delivered here numerous times before, claiming "if the delivery guy doesn't want to deliver there then he doesn't have to" do not order from them

Called to order my daughter a pizza and the person just sat on the phone. No hello or May I take your order. I called again, the same thing. I called again and they put the prompt on to say they are closed.

Absolute trash. Delivery takes over 2 hours and when you call to follow up they are rude and act like it’s your fault that you even tried ordering food. Terrible customer service. And this has happened the last 3 times I’ve tried ordering. This store needs major help.

Do not order online with this establishment I placed an order online last night 11/03/23 @8:30pm and @8:32pm the tracker said that Chassity was preparing my order and @9:47pm I checked the status on it just for it to say the order was canceled! Good thing Little Ceasars came to the rescue and got my CORRECT order in a very timely fashion!

10/31/23 halloween night EXTREMELY busy. Watched manager Edward and team work very hard to get through the insane amount of orders as i waited on my order to be ready. Impressed with how they handled the adversity and continued to treat customers with respect.

Don't even waste your time not even to get a cup of water.

Ordered Wings - Once received, 2 of 8 in one box were the wing tips (see pics attached). Called the store and was basically told 'tired of you people, and don't call back'. Will NEVER buy from this store again and manager needs to get fired besides getting his a$$ kicked.

Ordered from here before and arrived cold. After over a year, tried again to see if it was any better service and pizza took over 40 minutes sitting at the store after cooking it off oven before it was put out for delivery (based off their own tracker). I cancelled the order. Won't order from them again.

Received order wrong, rang to tell them they said they’re making a new one and send it right out, 45 minutes later and still not received, rest of the food is cold. Man on the phone was a bit arsey. Long time customer won’t be ordering from here again.

This branch of Dominos is nothing short of a disgrace. We’ve had issues with delivery taking ages in the past but have given benefit of doubt of being busy but tonivht was shocking. We placed an online order at 19:10 with the website advising 22-25 mins for delivery. At 19:44, the website tracker updated to say it had left for delivery. After waiting 40 minutes we rang the store and the man who answered the phone was nothing short of a disgrace and very rude. He answered advising he knew and that they were very busy and had 5/6 drivers out. When we quizzed further about our own, he advised that the website was wrong due to how busy it had been on the night but driver had left around 2/3 mins earlier. This was at 20:20 and the food was not delivered until 21:02. So basically seems like a lie to get rid of us on the phone. Food was also cold so presume it had taken longer than it should to deliver as we are only 10 minutes away from the store! That’s final straw as won’t be using them again

If this is the Viking Centre Domino's then this is my review. I'm always happy when I know I am getting the quality of food from Dominos even if I am paying slightly high prices, however, recently, the driver took way longer then the time I was given for arrival at my house. And when it got here, it was freezing cold. On the plus side, the guy we spoke to on the phone, offered us a discount for our next order, and that....we appreciate.

Worked there for a few months absolutely appalling the state of the kitchen and the way the owner treats the employees. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else, don't trust the fake reviews the owner puts on here on fake accounts

I’ve took 4 photos of my order, to show exactly what I got. I haven’t ordered from a Domino’s in over 20 years. I knew there was a reason why I was never too keen on them. Tonight, my reason has been confirmed for another 20. I ordered online from the website, picked a collection time, paid for it. Received a text 10 minutes before collection was due, so that was all fine. I’m not even gonna mention the staff, looking at me like they’ve never had someone collect before. Firstly, the side order of wedges could fit into a small paper bag instead of this cardboard monstrosity, so much for reducing environmental waste. Barbecue dip is a bit rich. Second, the garlic pizza bread. On a ratio I’d say that it was 75% bread to 25% cheese. Way too much dough. Third, the pizza itself. Cut into 10 unequal slices, one of which contained 2 dollops of beef, and a tiny piece of green pepper. Nothing like the images you see of….The Perfect Pizza. Reminds me of a McDonald’s Big Mac, the picture is more appealing than the product. It is obvious that the toppings were just thrown haphazardly here & there until it resembled a Hot & Spicy pizza. All in all, I’ve had better from the Metrocentre Food Court. So thank you Dominos, but I’ll stick to my local Bella Pizza, the staff are foreign there too…but at least they smile when they take my money.

Ordered food online, to which after an hour we phoned up the store and asked how long was delivery. We got told that it had been picked up by the driver and was out for delivery. Skip forward 3 phone calls and 45mins later, which I only live 10min drive from the store but have kids so couldn't collect in store, the driver delivered to the door. Turned him away as the food would be cold. Phoned up the store and told them i'm sending the food back. The girl down the phone was rude and short with me. I have been going to Domino's Jarrow for years and can't believe how poor they have become. Yes the food is lovely, but the wait times are ridiculous.

*ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK* After an extremely long wait time for delivery, I contacted the store and was met with an extremely rude customer service experience. The individual who answered the phone felt the need to give me excuses on why my order was an hour late with an attitude, and then proceeded to hang up the phone mid conversation. Extremely immature and unprofessional. Even after that, once I finally received the order, it was incorrect and cold..

Not only did the order arrive an hour after it was promised, when we called to ask for a ETA we were immediately met with an attitude and excuses and the individual who answered the phone rudely hung up on us. When the food did finally arrive it was the wrong crust and cold. Not worth ordering from them again.

Absolutely the worse place to order. I understand companies are short staffed but when I call and ask for an ETA of my delivery after it's been over an hour the manager responded "If you want it on time to come pick it up yourself". Then wouldn't give me his name! Sounded like a young child no wonder they can't get it right. I'm not even mad just find it funny they are letting children manage businesses.

Fastest domino’s ever and their pizza is actually edible!

Food was good. But not worth the rude customer service my husband had to put up with. The employees were extremely ignorant. Talking rudely about my husband when they think he couldn't hear them. We will never go back to this domino's due to the employee. My husband was offered free food but we declined. No amount of free anything will make up for that embarrassing scene.

Who ever is running the phone is vary Un professional so I ordered food she said it’s all done but I have to wait Another hour for a driver to bring it it will not be any good she was vary Ignorant she needs to be fired

My local Domino's is great. You can't beat the $5.99 deals. I usually order maybe 3 deals, twice monthly and freeze portions. Tonight I got a free pizza, lucky me. I've never had any problems, everyone is nice and polite even when I end up calling an hr before delivery ends because I messed up my on line order. Delivery is always before the estimated delivery time. Sorry, I can't take pictures, I broke my phone

The delivery is always quick and food as tasty and hot as expected. They once made a mistake with my order and bent over backwards to get it sorted and redelivered quickly. Thanks everyone! Downside is it can be expensive, but we always get the large family deal which is great value for money.

Very poor customer service! I was told I could not come in for pickup and could not order deleivery. Employee assured me the store was still open. I'm still confused

You call at 8:55 pm the hang up on you and then call back at 9:02 and there closed well run operation stay away

The guy that took my order was very rude and told me an hour and half and almost 30 dollars for 2 mediums. I said something then he said 15 something and hung up very rude

First off let me say my fiancee and I drive over the road in a big truck and are unable to just go somewhere and pick up food. So I placed my order at around 10:45pm and even gave the girl my credit card # and was told my order would be delivered in 30-45 minutes. After an hour I called to find out how much longer and was informed by the assistant manager that the girl who took my order never submitted it into the system so it was never completed or made. And they were now closed and all drivers had gone home. When I explained to him our situation and that we had no way to go get anything to eat, this young man went above and beyond offered to stop on his way home (he passes right past our hotel) and brought us some McDonald's which he offered to pay for out of his own pocket. I was very grateful and accepted his offer but wouldn't allow him to pay for it. And of course I gave him a tip. That man needs to be recognized for his AMAZING customer service. I just wish I could remember his name. Thank you again so much. God bless you.

Guy making the pizza had no gloves on, we saw after we paid and left without the pizza. Too disgusting to eat

When you call 6 times to place an order and they don't answer to either say " This is Domino's could you please hold" then what's goin on and its all the time. Im just disappointed in this place the Domino's in North East.

I am sitting outside the Dominoes in North East Maryland. I can visibly see someone at the register in the store. The open sign is on and the Dominoes sign is on and I have called repeatedly and no one is picking up. It’s 11 o’clock at night Google says this Domino’s is open until midnight. I will not be returning and I am very angry because I made the trip here especially because I usually like the food this Domino’s prepares.

They say they are open until a certain time but then Don’t answer?? Had a huge party but no answer? Go to Pats or Bella’s so Much better than this over priced facility! If you want rubber tasting wings or 20 dollar pizza buy 4 in the frozen food at Walmart.

I live just outside the delivery radius for Dominos knowing this I called to place an order and was informed that there is no carryout last hour before closing. They will make deliveries up till closing but I can not get a pizza because it's not being delivered. I'll pay with a credit card and deliver to your parking lot. Nope sorry can't do that. I have never heard of such an asinine policy in all my life. No matter what I tried to suggest they refused. CONFUSED

Food is always very good but service is the worst! They always forget to deliver your sauces, and when you call, say they will bring they “right back out” yet they never show. And when you spend money on food that your kids will only eat with certain picky things, this is super frustrating. So I resort to picking up my food... and just now, I went in, the guy said something and tried to hand me an order that I could tell was not mine and when I said this isn’t mine, he very rudely said “oh you didn’t say anything” ..what?!? As long as you only order the basics, you will be fine. But anything extra or special you will pay for and not get! Along with rude customer service!

I will give the gentleman that took my order a 5 star! He listened well and my order was correct when it arrived. The mild hot wings were delicious, not too hot. Just right, the garlic bread was simply mouth watering! This north east location is the best in town. Thank you for being wonderful during this time of uncertainty. Good job guys, be safe!

Very nice and tasty pizzas, people say they are expensive, but if you use the codes they are competitive, shop looks clean tidy , plus they deliver from 11 am , most drivers get your food out and delivered hot to your door . Enjoy

Pretty funny they have delivered to my apartment over a dozen times and now all of the sudden Thomas (the manager) said management got changed or some BS and they don’t feel like delivering to my apartment anymore and so now no dominos will deliver and I am handicap. Service was ok. Girl working had friends hanging out and eating while i was there. Food was ok until i realize my bread bowl was straight dough. So slimy and mushy i couldnt finish it which sucks because its the best part of the pasta bowls. Tried to call and complain but couldnt get through 🤷🏼 2 starts because the noodles were good and the girl had a decent attitude

Always a pleasure to eat Domino's pizza. I order a medium pan pizza with chicken and pineapple, while my son is content with a hand tossed cheese pizza. They even invite children to watch pizza being made.

Ordered a 7.99 pizza gave 10.00 note only got back 2.00 ! Ok it's 1 pence but I do not give to charity and wasent even asked how many customer's do u steal from per night ? Pizzas are not worth the money ethier toppings what toppings, been a financial adviser for many years and sucesfull investor the penny might seem like nothing to some local inbreads on benefits but not me will be contacting head office

Dominos is Dominos. Its pizza, wings and a few other things. They do what they do and they do it well. Staff is friendly enough and they know what they are doing. So if you like pizza and particularly wings then this is a good place to eat.

The North East, Maryland team is great. Easy and fast ordering by app. Tracking the progress of your order is a fantastic addition. Vincent was polite and courteous. Will try to request him for delivery of our next order.

We love Domino's never got order wrong.

Lovely pizzas from here and it holds a 5 star hygiene rating. Not cheap pizzas though unless you get the any size pizza collection only deal for £6.99 that they have been running this summer. If the deal continues I will keep ordering as it’s goid value, but otherwise go elsewhere unless you don’t care about cost as an average large pizza starts at £16! There are other pizza takeaways and delivery nearby that are much better value!

Pizza is almost always made perfectly to order and when my half and half topping pizzas are made wrong in error they give me an extra pizza that is correct! Always fresh, people always courteous.

Every time I order from here I’m never disappointed. I always receive my delivery super fast and the food is never disappointing. Keep up the good work!!!

I think Domino's is the best chain pizza, and this location does not disappoint

Not a big fan of this place but it was all that was open at the time. I had order a pep and mushroom pizza with light sauce which is a simple order. The pizza dough was chewy like it wasn't done and the crust was just plain. The lady working there is the only reason for the 2 stars she was very understanding when I showed up late for pickup at night.
